Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Odd To Want To Marry A Pastor? by manmustwac(m): 10:51am On Feb 06, 2012 |
I believe you are a deeply religious person who wants to marry a pastor because you believe it will bring you closer to God. One thing you have to ask yourself about your (potential pastor) future partner is did he become a pastor because of God's calling or did he become a pastor because of the love of money?
If he's a stingy man and superstitious prayers is the only assistance he chooses to offer his poor congregation when they are in financial need even though he is making bucket loads of cash from thier offerings then he is not a genuine man of god but just another wolf in sheep's clothing like 99.9% of them. |

just before christmas i wanted to open an account with GTB bank here in london. I googled thier address and foundout they were just down the road from where i was working. So i went there enquired about what i need to do to open an account was told i needed my british passport proof of address but the thing that really got me was that i was told to bring £5000 as a deposit to activate the account. So now i think i'll have to wait till i visit nigeria before i open an account with them. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheism In Nigeria: It's Reception, And Effects On Society. by manmustwac(m): 9:23pm On Feb 05, 2012 |
Uyi Iredia: I couldn't care less. But I'm quite sure that if the position were reversed (with atheists as the majority) the atheists would indeed persecute the Christians. It is common for people of opposing ideologies to persecute themselves. However, one expects better of the Christians given the example of Christ and how Christianity itself got off to a rough start amongst the Roman pagans. Can you give any examples of countries where athiests are the majority and christian and muslim minorites are being persecuted? |

Politics › Re: Why Is Nigeria So Disorganized? by manmustwac(m): 1:27am On Feb 05, 2012 |
Religon is part of the problem to because Nigerians making statements like its in gods hands, leave everything to god or only god can save us dose not help matters. It just proves that Nigerians cannot help themselves and expect some imaginary guy to come down from the sky and solve thier problems for them |

The story is long but its an interesting read. Poster you have to tell her yourself or if you think you can't summon up the courage to do it then why not write an anonymous note explaining everything or use someone else's phone to send an anonymous text message. |

goshen360: And why do you have to bring it here to tell us before you even do it? I tell you the truth, you have your reward already before men. Do your giving in secret and your heavenly father that sees in the secret will reward you openly.
God have mercy. he is trying to promote the giving of first fruits and wants wants everybody to be like him and dash money to our pastors. I'd rather send my money back home via western union they'd value it more than these already rich pastors. |

And after reading this the best we masses can do is say "God will punish them" or "Only God can save us" "God will judge them" and our leaders continue to loot as if God is imaginary. As far as am concerned there is no hope for Nigeria. |
