Politics / Re: What Can Be Done To Curb Corruption In Nigeria? by MANOSUB(m): 8:35pm On Jan 15, 2013
1)Withdraw all pension and gratuity from every leader found to be corrupt.
2)Create job opportunities and give the power of recruitment to anonymous body.
3)Give every genuine citizens stipend, enough to take care of hunger, every month.
4)Respect for human right to life. No one should be unduely punished, killed or molested by either security operatives or mop by d people. Even the armed robbers, boko haram, kidnappers, prostitutes have right to life until taken from them by the law court.

God! How do I completely detoxify my system?
People living with high blood sugar are advised locally to take some squized better liquid. Maybe that will help you to balance your blood sugar.
NB: do not take excess of it so you dont get advised by a doctor to continue drinking ur coke or pepsi
Politics / Re: EFCC Arrests Charles Soludo - SaharaReporters by MANOSUB(m): 8:11pm On Jan 10, 2013
If someone can be bribed to do a particular thing, he could also negotiate another deal! It will be very bad if this story is true. None of our leaders seem to be free from corruption
Politics / Re: How Many Of His Promises Has Jonathan Kept? by MANOSUB(m): 5:59am On Jan 10, 2013
If you think GEJ will achieve 60% of his campaign promises, then i ask you to re-think. How can a presidential aspirant go around all the states making different promises when as a central man, you are suppose to focus on what would affect everyone. Maybe he had it in mind to do the work of states governors. To me, he was just making all those promises because he knows what Nigerians wanted to hear, and do not forget that he believes promises can be unfulfilled- "empty promises"

Okija_juju & et al, please learn to be positive in some scenarios. Everything in Nigeria is not that bad. Arms smuggling is a betrayal of bilateral agreement if the story is true. Where do you think arm robbers, kidnappers, boko haram, militants etc get their weapons from. If we will be safe in Nigeria, we should all come together to fight these people who are taking advantage of the poor security arrangement in our country. Nigeria is our country, you can't deny this fact. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

And if u cannot sue them because u know they could over shadow ur claim, u put it to the notice of the public. That's a good job the poster have done there.
claremont: @OP: This may be the opportunity of a life time to claim compensation for the psychological trauma you experienced after you found that object in your drink. The makers of the drink are liable and have a responsibility to ensure that the products coming out of their factories are safe for consumption.
Education / Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by MANOSUB(m): 11:03pm On Jan 03, 2013
I am not a mathematician but i just have natural love for it.
How did u get d 8 pigeon?
Richiez:

you should note that most pigeon hole problems involves logical reasoning and not calculations.

SOLUTION
no of mail correspondents = 17
no of topics = 3
since the correspondents are in pairs, no of possible pairs = 8 (i.e only 8 pairs from 17)

let pigeons = no of pairs =8
and pigeonholes = no of topics = 3
if we assume that the letters wud be distributed evenly i.e pigeons wud be distributed evenly into the pigeon holes, then atleast all 3 pigeon holes will an extra pigeon
this implies that some pairs will have same topic as other pairs
Nairaland / General / Re: How Do You Say Happy New Year In Your Language? by MANOSUB(m): 7:21pm On Jan 01, 2013

Nairaland / General / Re: Jigawa Bans Poultry Brutalization, To Prosecute Offenders by MANOSUB(m): 5:18pm On Dec 31, 2012
Can u explain how animals are suppose to be transported. U think whoever owns those stocks does not care for them? I tell u d truth they know the value for one stock so they wont allow anyone to die. Abi u want make them give them seat for the motor?
dulphines:
Honestly, u need to see the way this malams handle animals. Those creatures feel pains just as we do. I see some wicked Nigerians stack over 20 goats in a car trunk and u will see the poor animals gasping for breath and space. Animals are treated better in more civilized contries. I think the law to protect chickens and animals in general is nt out of place.

Science/Technology / Re: Chinese Farmer Builds Wind-Powered Car In 3 Months by MANOSUB(m): 7:40pm On Dec 28, 2012
The world belongs to people who can think. Nigerians can think. Someone from the Northern part of Nigeria actually built a mower, and it was aired on NTA

meetchalz: The man who has done this is a farmer. I̅n our country Nigeria, sadly, we have so-called Engineers i̅n different fields of the discipline who have got nothing to show for their education. They too patronize road-side mechanics. How can we grow? This Chinese farmer should be encouraged to develop his concept further.
