PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Intervene In Burkina Faso? [updated] by MansaMoussa: 6:18am On Sep 18, 2015
Yes we should for the following reasons:
1. It is the perfect opportunity to rebuild our tattered foreign policy.
2. A proof that our military can fight in multiple fronts and sustain the fight for as long as possible if diplomacy fails..( that will send a message to potential foes) and act as a morale booster to our army.
3. Truth be said, Nigeria's image is at an all time high..the world perceives our election of the current govt as a determination by us to reject our old image and accept a new one...I interacted with a Kenyan friend yesterday and he was full of admiration for us..
4. We would ultimately drive off others from our sphere of influence...

My only problem is the cost implications if financing such a campaign amidst the current economic crisis in d country..hence a highly publicised diplomatic approach to resolving the coup crisis in Burkina Faso remains my first choice..

HealthThe Albinoes Of National Hospital Abuja by MansaMoussa(op): 9:19am On Jul 28, 2015
Seated on a Park Bench at night was a White Figure carefully unwrapping the bandage in her head to reveal a most heart wrenching sore..she proceeded to clean it carefully, rebandage and then proceeded to sleep in the bench which she had made her home for the past 4months...saw her as a random patient who couldn't pay her bills..

Then I saw the young man who loved to keep to himself all the time on a park bench around the Oncology section...he too was white...
Come closer and you are greeted by this morbid smell of decaying flesh..he too had a bandage in his shoulder and forehead...Some Random Guy maybe.

And then I began to notice them in Tens..sleeping under the stairways, gardens, etc..and I was prompted to ask around..Lo and Behold! They were Cancer Patients!!!
All I learnt about Skin Cancers in School with Albinos being at A risk hit me...THESE GUYS WERE DYING!!! And nobody cared...they had no beds, no money, no treatment, nothing, not even family.! they were left alone to die from an illness they are predisposed to by virtue of their birth!

Once a while, I see this Albino guy who comes around to help them welfare-wise, he quarrels often with d Hospital authorities trying to ensure they get basic health services...

I know there's a lot of issues regarding Special People in the Country...but please! let's give these guys a chance to either live or die gracefully!

InvestmentI Need Advice On A Private-public Partnership I Wanna Go Into by MansaMoussa(op): 1:47pm On Jul 08, 2015
Dear Sirs/Madam
I am a young man who has managed to save a little money but has huge potentials...for some reason I don't wanna work for anybody but myself ..so I registered a Business name with CAC and intend to do the following...

I am fairly knowledgeable regarding running of Hospitals and I see that as my strong selling point..
Most rural hospitals are in disrepair or just abandoned due to administrative problems

Now, my vision is to invest into these cottage clinics...refurbish them, staff and run them for some time before returning them back to their respective owners( community or local govt)...
I would love some advice from people who have ventured into this kinda project in terms of :
How to recover my money
Legal Hurdles
other challenges..

Thank you

PoliticsMy Encounter At An IDP Camp Today by MansaMoussa(op): 11:49pm On Mar 21, 2015
For Years, I have heard stories of Boko Haram and their gory exploits! How entire Communities have been uprooted from their Ancestral Lands and made Refugees in theirs and other Countries, and I, like many other Nigerians living far from the NE, have trivialised their sufferings and seen it as "one of those things". But inwardly, I have nursed the Idea of Interacting Close-up with some of these Victims and hearing 1st Hand about their Trials! Even though I have encountered some of these Refugees in Taraba, and Yola, I was yet to go with them into their world until some days ago when I visited an IDP Camp in Area 1 Garki, Abuja to study them for a while!

For a Camp right in the city centre, I expected something more organized, however, what I saw was less than satisfactory! The IDPs were basically housed in an Abandoned PRIVATE uncompleted building with virtually no protection from the Vices of the Outside world! Children were left to wander about without supervision and there was virtually NO ORGANIZATION in sight! There's a Matron(called chair woman) who takes care of the day to day running of the camp, but her authority is often undermined by Unruly Idle Men who corner donated relief materials for themselves!
The Govt did well by posting Policemen to the Camp, but they are practically helpless and overwhelmed by the so-called "Lords of the Camps" who do nothing but bully others!
Despite the substantial in-flow of Relief Materials, there isn't equitable distribution since the approach to sharing is by throwing these materials into the crowd and letting them brawl to get their share! Essentially, the Weak ones amongst them don't get much! An Organized setting would have known how to allocate resources according to need!
Thankfully, there's a School nearby for the Children, to keep them fairly busy and they look fairly nourished!
There's also the frustration amongst them for being used for Publicity stunts( one group after the other coming to share gifts and most importantly, SNAP PICTURES)
92% of the People I interacted with their fled from GWORZA and all had heartbreaking stories to tell..

BULLIES: I saw loads of Bullies! These people are not even refugees, but they stay there and bully everyone with their Gangs! The Police seems to condone them! They assault women and visitors openly and snatch gifts meant for other members of the camp in full glare!
Govt should please lock up or shoot these Bastards!

Asseesment: Fair! But the Lawlessness is Heartbreaking! Might is Right here, and they sure do exercise that "right a lot"! Again the Bullies must be Shot!

Recommendation: Govt MUST deploy Full-Time Public Servants who should structure this camps to run smoothly! Only then will Equity prevail and Chaos be eliminated!
The Police Presence is Commendable!

Lessons: I saw Muslims and Xtians living. Side by Side and weathering the storm together! Religion was the least thing on their mind thus lending credence to the fact that Religion is Tertiary when it comes to basic human survival since Hunger, Fear, Terror, Poverty knows neither Race nor Creed! Why then are Nigerians so tensed up about GMB being a Muslim and GEJ being a Christian and are willing to make the whole country a Killing Field in a Few days time! Let's Remember Nigeria country has the 2nd Largest number of IDPs in the world today(Syria is 1st)!

Let's learn from this people and make informed decisions about the country!
The Lawlessness I saw today made me appreciate Government as the ultimate Guarantor of Law and Order!
If an Abuja IDP camp is like this, Definitely those in other states(where there's less EYE SERVICE would be worse)

Best of Luck to GEJ and GMB, make the best person win!
