HIGH RISE BUILDINGS ARE A FUNCTION OF ECONOMIC ABILITY

Abagworo: I've always complained about theses 3 to 6 storey buildings found mostly in Onitsha, Aba and Enugu which I call "Igbotic buildings". They are so thin and look unbalanced. I sometimes wonder how people manage to live in a place called Awada where each building looks like it could fall any second. I've noticed those kind of buildings in Lagos too but mostly in the Surulere area.

If you observe the high buildings in Port Harcourt, they are usually large and solid as can be found on Stadium road. Diobu has those disgusting buildings though.
