Stupid morons. The North is no longer interested in oil or your petty threats. Osinbajo is dear to the hearts of northerners so you better change gear. Wait for the day Kaduna declaration will come to pass then you will know if we bluff. |
Look at them, uncivilised bushmen that walked the bush naked just 95 years ago. But they will beat their hairy chests like the apes they were (are). You must move out. |
These people lack simple political arithmetic. I have not seen any possibility of an Igbo man becoming the president of this country in the near future. Other tribes have totally lost confidence in Igbos. This is aside the aggression and the inherent hostility of the Igbos on others. The Igbos are themselves not united at all. The Igbos should as a matter of urgency need to realize how harmful the recent agitation by IPOB is fast distancing them from political gameplay. |
The message wether you like it or not, is clear, the north is tired of your rants. Let's go our seperate ways, peacefully or otherwise. The north is ready. Let's see how ready you are. |

The succession crisis rocking the Kano royal family since the death of the the former Emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero, has taken a new turn with the removal of the eldest son of the late emir from office as the Ciroman Kano. The Office of the Ciroman Kano is said to be usually reserved for the eldest son of the reigning Emir. Mal Muhammadu Sunusi II who ordered the removal of the late Emir’s son from the title holders in the emirate Council via a letter to the late Emir’s son was not however categorical on his “sins” before his removal. Feelers from the palace however hinted that the Ciroman, the eldest son of the late Emir, since the mandatory paying homage to the new Emir after his nomination by the King Makers, left the state to settle in Abuja in order to avoid clash of interest within the royal family. The action taken by the Ciroman Kano, who is the former managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, has not gone down well with the Emir. From all indication, the current Emir feels as a result of this relocation, his authority as the 14th ruler was being threatened owing to the total absence from all activities of the palace including the yearly Sallah Durbah celebrations. Since assuming the mantle of as the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sunusi has not hidden his disdain to the love and affection being shown on the late Emir’s children who are among the senior title holders at the palace. However, that situation forced the former Central Bank of Nigeria boss to elevate some title holders above the late Emir’s sons all in an attempt to frustrate them so that they will dump the title and leave the palace. It was said that some notable personalities in the state like Alhaju Amiunu Dantata, Alhaji Istaka Rabiu and Dan Masanin Kano Yusuf Maitama Sule prevailed upon them not to do that for the unity and progress of the palace and the royal family. The Emir, having sensed that it will not be feasible, appointed a new district head and posted him to Gwale local government which is a direct confrontational approach by the the family of the Ado Bayero. That action was also repealed by notable people who are very close to the late Emir. They were to be unhappy with the festering relations within the royal house. It was not however ascertained weather Kano Emir will remove all of Alhaji Ado Bayere’s sons from their respective domains as district heads. https://www.naij.com/608315-just-kano-emir-sanusi-removed-ado-bayeros-son-ciroman.html |

The 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri on Sunday said the early morning explosion in the outskirt of Maiduguri emanated from routine testing of military equipment. Speaking to journalists on Sunday, the spokesman of the Division, Tukur Gusau, urged residents not to panic. “It is a routine test firing of our weapons to ensure that they are in a state of readiness,” he said. Parents of the two Nigerian students arrested in India over terrorism charges say their children, Sani Jamilu Sani and Imran Kabir, are not terrorists. Speaking to Daily Trust in Kano yesterday, Hajiya Ladidi Jamilu, who spoke on behalf of the two families, said Sani and Imran were morally sound and had never been involved in terrorism in Nigeria or abroad before the August 7 incident. “They should be charged for something else and not terrorism because they are not terrorists. I have contacted the family of Imran and from what I heard about him, he is also morally sound,” she said. Hajiya Ladidi said contrary to speculations, Sani and Imran are not cousins. She said the two students were arraigned yesterday in India, adding that Sani had informed her about their arraignment on September 1. She said: “Sani called on phone and asked me to pray for him”. www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/kano/arrested-nigerian-students-not-terrorists-parent/109370.html |
As Nigeria marked her 55th Independence Anniversary yesterday, former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that corruption must be kicked out of the country by all. The former leader who spoke with journalists at his hilltop residence in Abeokuta said all Nigerians irrespective of race, gender, age or religion must join in the fight against corruption. He, however, said Nigeria has not fared badly in her journey considering her age, adding that great nations of the world have had their challenges too. “Fifty-five years in the life of a nation is comparatively young, growing and when you look at the life and history of those that you may call settled societies or reasonably mature countries, we are not doing too badly. “They have had missteps just like we are having missteps; they have made mistakes and most of them have learnt from their mistakes”, he said. Obasanjo re-echoed President Muhammadu Buhari’s speech that Nigeria has all the potentialities of a great nation. “The president in his statement said Nigeria has the potentialities of a great nation. It is just a question of actualising our potentialities and that will require all hands on deck; men, women, Muslims, Christians, young and old, irrespective of our location, our tribe, our social standing, Nigeria needs all hands on deck”, he stated. The ex-president emphasised the need for providing employment for the teeming youths, making the economy work and dealing with security challenges, saying “we must not play with the issue of employment for our teeming population particularly for our youths. We must not play with the issue of economy; we must not play with the issue of security and peace.” He said that Nigeria should not be a resting place for corruption. “These are some of the things, and then of course, corruption must not have resting place within our society; we must kick corruption out because it destroys almost everything and I am not talking about corruption of money; corruption of attitude, nepotism, favouritism, they are corruption in different forms and all aspects of corruption must be kicked out of our society.” Obasanjo said PMB’s journey to the United Nations was a success as former US President Bill Clinton told him(Obasanjo) that from the conversation he (Clinton) had with PMB, he had a good impression of him. “He met Clinton for almost one hour and President Clinton, when I joined him for his global initiative, talked to me about the impression of our president; it was favourable. “Gordon Brown and I met him and we talked about issues. The few other leaders who met him gave me their impression and his debut so to say, it has been good. I think we are at the table; what they used to say that Nigeria is not at the table, now we are present at the table”, Obasanjo said. leadership.ng/news/464719/corruption-must-be-kicked-out-of-nigeria-obasanjo |

Nigeria in first 100days of Buhari administration. Good news about Buhari is now coming from NTA network Reduction of politicians faces from news line all we see now are technocrats. Stoppage of war drum from Niger delta war lords. No more dangerous statements coming from our politicians. Nigerians now look at Boko Haram as bunch of misled Nigerians who are now getting their ass kicked. Refineries are now working. Fuel importers are now begging, Electricity is now at an average of 12 to 15hrs a day. Ogoni is getting cleanup, Policing is no longer for only the rich but the poor Check points have now varnished. Corrupt government officials are now retiring themselves. While others are returning their loots voluntarily. IGR is increasing and external reserve is also rising dramatically, Now properties in Abuja are cheaper than in many other states. Government and all agencies are now having a single account TSA. Our greedy banks are no longer collecting dollars deposits. Appointment is now based on merit. Nigerian politicians show less interest to be appointed as ministers. For over a month there was no statement coming from the first lady and the wife of the president is traveling on commercial flights. All this is done without a minister, is all done by one man, one mind, one soul without the interference of others. What will happen to Nigeria after ministers are appointed? What a change! What a great leader!! Sai Baba. |
Wow! Some people will surely feel baad, baad and dejected. |

[quote author=laidian post=35497496]A TEAM of psychologists and medical doctors associated with the Technische Universität of Berlin , announced on Saturday July 4 , 2015 morning that they have proven , through clinical experimentation , the existence of some form of life after death. Their discovery , according to the team of scientists led by Dr Berthold Ackermann , was based on the conclusions of a study using a new type of medically supervised near - death experiences , which allow patients to be clinically dead for almost 20 minutes before being brought back to life . This controversial process that was repeated on 944 volunteers over that last four years , necessitates a complex mixture of drugs including epinephrine and dimethyltryptamine , destined to allow the body to survive the state of clinical death and the reanimation process without damage . The body of the subject was then put into a temporary comatic state induced by a mixture of other drugs which had to be filtered by ozone from his blood during the reanimation process 18 minutes later . The extremely long duration of the experience was only recently made possible by the development of a new cardiopulmonary recitation (CPR) machine called the AutoPulse . This type of equipment has already been used over the last few years , to reanimate people who had been dead for somewhere between 40 minutes to an hour. Near -death experiences have been hypothesized in various medical journals in the past , as having the characteristics of hallucinations , but Dr Ackermann and his team , on the contrary , consider them as evidence for the existence of the afterlife and of a form of dualism between mind and body . The team monitored the operations and compiled the testimonies of the subjects . Although there are some slight variations from one individual to another , all of the subjects have some memories of their period of clinical death. and a vast majority of them described some very similar sensations . Most common memories include a feeling of detachment from the body , feelings of levitation , total serenity, security , warmth , the experience of absolute dissolution , and the presence of an overwhelming light . The scientists say that they are well aware the many of their conclusions could shock a lot of people , like the fact that the religious beliefs of the various subjects seems to have held no incidence at all, on the sensations and experiences that they described at the end of the experiment . Indeed , the volunteers counted in their ranks some members are a variety of Christian churches , Muslims, Jews , Hindus and atheists. “ I know our results could disturb the beliefs of many people ” says Ackermann . “ But in a way , we have just answered one of the greatest questions in the history of mankind , so I hope these people will be able to forgive us . Yes , there is life after death and it looks like this applies to everyone . ” www.dailyindependentnig.com/2015/07/ at-last-scientists-prove-life-death/ [/quotehttps://storify.com/aamirraz/did-german-scientists-prove-life-after-death-big |
