Why was this moved to the travel section?

This is more relevant than a lot of the nonsensical threads in the Politics section yet this was the one that was moved.

That's kind of pathetic and sad.

Really?

I guess it won't be a joke when Igbos choose to vote who they want in 2023.

That's how it's always been. That's how it should be. That's how it works.

If someone is uncomfortable with what favours you, what do you call it?

You're joking right. So no one should contest elections again once Igbos are benefitting? Because that would mean they hate Igbos.

Surely, you are joking right?

They accused GEJ of appointing the first Igbo Chief of Army Staff since the war.

The SGF was Igbo.

The coordinating Minister of the economy was Igbo.

Then voom, Yorubas started crying marginalization.

Ok so Yorubas cried of marginalization within GEJ's administration. So where is the Igbo hatred? You still haven't answered that question?

Yes, while that can be dismissed as politics which is understandable, one other reason Tinubu led SW against GEJ was because it was thought that GEJ's govt was favouring Igbos and u know it.

Interesting...
Let us forget the fact that GEJ was/is PDP and Tinubu is APC (2 difderent political parties contesting against each other and other parties). Let us forget the fact that Tinubu's party (ACN) contested against PDP+GEJ in 2011 and lost. Finally, let us even assume that what you say is true.

My question to you is how in the name of all that is logical does that translate into hating Igbo? How?

Why did Tinubu team up with Buhari to dislodge GEJ from power?

Ah that's what it's about? You're still on that? Really?

Well the answer to that is simple. Tinubu wanted his party to be in power.

Now, as 2023 draws near, another Yoruba leader, Tinubu, is positioning to take his chances at the country's top post, riding on the back of Igbo hatred and some of kinsmen and footsoldiers are cheering him on.

Forget the fact that Tinubu may be corrupt or not. I just have one simple question. How exactly is he riding on the back of Igbo hatred.

Politics / Re: Bola Tinubu’s “Alpha Beta” To Earn N6billion Monthly From Lagos State Gov’t by Mariory(m): 3:04am On Mar 28, 2021
RuudVanNisteroy:
If the revenue target set out by Lagos state is met by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Alpha Beta Consulting. He can expect to smile to the bank in the tune of N6 billion naira monthly.

According to the sworn court affidavit filed by the former Managing Director of Alpha Beta Consulting, Dapo Apara, before the Lagos State High Court, 10% of the internal generated revenue of Lagos state has been paid as commission to Alpha Beta Consulting, owned by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, since 2003 when they were given monopoly to collect state taxes when he was the incumbent Governor.
