I think he meant that it's not literally one million percent. It's just like how people seem to get extra strength in emergency situations (like in the story of the woman that lifted a car to rescue her father)

The premise was interesting enough but the show got boring quickly.
I thought the show would have nice action scenes but I was let down. The side characters were generic and boring, the humor was bland too.
I don't think I watched up to 8 episodes but I'll rate the part I watched 6/10 because I think the show had a lot of wasted potential, my opinion sha.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I heard that 1 million percent stuff isn't actually 1 million percent of one for all. The extra strength was just from adrenaline rush.

for those reading manga am i the only that thinks this manga's are just replicas stories, Apotheosis,star martial God technique,tales of demon and God,martial peak.Mixed up the characters quite a few times now quite confusing

I know, right? Especially when it comes to Chinese manhua. It's like if you've read one, you've read all of them cos a lot of them literally follow the same format. It's hard to find good series that don't follow the same pattern.

Jagasaki is a proper madman, I like MCs like him and killling his girlfriend then refrigerating her head is nothing compared to what happens in the rest of the manga, all the other characters are far worse than him(except hardening guy)

Yeah I know the series is totally messed up and not for everyone with all the gore, horror and nudity. But I liked it at first cos I thought the MC was somewhat relatable, only for him to turn out to be messed up. I would have kept reading it but I didn't like any of the other characters either so I just stopped.

You have a point but Demon slayer does not have a bad story. If he thinks it does, he should tell us what exactly is bad about the story.

Also, success can be due to good story. A good example is Vinland Saga that he mentioned.

Don't conclude something is bad just because you don't like it.

People crush on fictional characters all the time, this isn't limited to weebs, there's nothing weird about that. The characters were drawn so people can relate to them on an emotional level. I have female friends that openly crush on Erwin and Levi from AoT, and I'm sure my male friends have their own but we never talk about it.

I mean, at least when an otaku is looking at hentai they can be sure that no actual women were forced to something against their will on camera (which is actually a real problem in mainstream adult entertainment).

I get that lolicon sh!t, guro (if you don't know what this you're probably better off), and body pillows may be excessive and make all anime fans seem weird when we get lumped in with those people but the fact is that anime degeneracy has far less real life implications than the alternative.

Ikr. Some people are just weird. I was chatting with someone about one anime like that and the guy kept asking which female character I was crushing on. I was like wtf bro, why would I be crushing on an anime character when there are real girls.

I guess this is one of the things that makes people think anime fans are weird.

Fairies can also change to a mature human form, but we never saw Elaine do that. Instead we saw a man kissing someone who looks like an 8 year old which is just gross. Look at this picture and tell me it ain't creepy

Apart from Ban, King is another low key pedophile. He fell in love with Diane when she was still a kid. That's just weird.

Just finished episode 2 of Tower of God. Enjoyed seeing these characters brought to life. The anime seems to be trimming the fat from the source material to speed up the pacing.

With the rate at which the plot is moving forward, and provided that this season has 24+ episodes, the finale will most likely coincide with the season finale of the webtoon. That would be a fantastic place to conclude and it will most likely generate hype for a second season.

One minor gripe I have with this adaptation is the translation of names from Korean to Japanese and then to English. In my case, the subs show the original Korean name while the audio has the characters pronouncing the Japanese translation. So, you may end up seeing Bam or Baam in your subs while the characters are clearly saying Yoru. This is because Korean language characters (hangul) sometimes have a different pronunciation in Japanese and the Japanese just translate them directly when adapting to anime.

Just to clarify for anime-only viewers, all these refer to the same people:

Bam/Baam/Yoru

Rachel/Rahel/Lahel

Jahad/Zahard

Androssi/Endorsi

Sadly there's going to be only 13 episodes, that's why everything is so fast paced. 24 episodes would have been too much imo as season one of the webtoon isn't that long.

I just hope it's successful sha. I really enjoyed episode one, but maybe it's because I already knew all the characters. I honestly hated the way they potrayed Yuri, Evan and Black March.
They made it to seem like Yuri and BM helped Bam just because he was cute, like Tower of god is one of those poorly written power fantasy harem anime.
Episode 2 was better though.

Another thing that is annoying me is the hate that it's getting. Some people think they can tell what the whole series is about just from one or two episodes. Although I'm not surprised cos a lot of people love to hate on shows that have hype like Demon Slayer.

Lol.... Calm down. It's obvious he hasn't. When I first read TOG, I was really confused at first and I almost dropped it. I'm sure a lot of the people just watching the anime will feel the same way.

Let's just hope thus adaptation stays faithful to the webcomic.

Y'all should check out Tower of God or Kami no Tou... The first episode just came out. It's an adaptation of one of the best and most popular Korean webtoons I've come across.

I recommend Noragami, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Demon Slayer and Mob Psycho 100.

You can also try Hunter x Hunter and see if you'll like it.
