Nah, even if Tanjiro's dad was alive when muzan attacked his family I'm sure muzan would have killed him easily. He wasn't really a fighter. Plus his body was weak and frail

Some mha characters are clearly based on characters from other shows. For example, todoroki is another version of Zuko from avatar.
MHA is still great though. Can't wait for season 4.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is low-key riddled with plot holes and flashbacks...

It's cool if you prefer fire force to kimetsu no yaiba, people will always have different tastes.
But it's funny that you think fire force has 'great characters' while kimetsu no yaiba is 'riddled with plot holes' ( I'm really curious though, cause I didn't notice any serious one) .

The characters in fire force are as cliche as they can be. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing when it's done properly.

First, we have the 'devil' mc with a dead mother that wants to be a 'hero' . If this sounds familiar, it's because it's the same as ao no excorsist. Also, the fact that people call him a devil because of his weird smile seems stupid to me. I mean, in a world were people can control fire or turn into fire monsters, you would think they have seen weirder things.

Next is the MC's childhood rival that for some weird reason thinks he's a knight ( it's as if people in this anime just go about giving themselves titles like hero and knight without earning them). Not only is the character boring, he's also really stupid. Who the hell forgets their dominant hand in the middle of a fight. That's just impossible and stupid.

Then of course, the cat fanservice girl tamaki. I normally try to ignore fanservice in anime, but fire force likes shoving distasteful fanservice down our throats and expects us to like it. I honestly don't know if the scene where shinra tried to stop that captain but somehow ended up with his hands handling her bare boobs (i don't even know how his hands could have possibly gotten there) was supposed to be funny. Ok they said she has bad luck with this sort of thing, yet she chooses to wear the most skimpy outfit possible to fight fire monsters (isn't she worried about getting burnt?).

The nun with a constant blush on her face,whose sole purpose is to look cute and be the occasional source of fanservice. I don't still understand why they'll carry someone like that on dangerous missions when she'll clearly be a liability. If a nun is that important, why don't they have some sort of combat training or at least a weapon for them not to be useless.

There are still other cliche characters like the always serious bespectacled guy, but I can't possibly talk about all of them.

Now I'm not saying the show is all bad. The animation is good, which is to be expected as this is 2019 . The opening music is really great too. It also has some nice fight scenes and some cool character designs. But honestly, the anime isn't that great. It's the kind of anime you binge-watch when you have nothing better to do. I expected better from the creator of soul eater.

Also, I'm not saying kimetsu no yaiba is the best anime ever. I honestly think the rating on Myanimelist is too high. The anime skips some details from the manga, which I find annoying. And the pacing of the latest episodes has been really slow.


Anyway, this is just my opinion. If fire force is kind of anime that you prefer, that's cool. People will always have different tastes, no matter how different or weird they might be.

Demon slayer episode 23 was too short abeg, I feel cheated . I hope the next episode won't be like this cause I'm looking forward to a particular scene .
I'm not surprised that Sanemi thinks majority of the current demon slayers are incompetent sha. Many of them were killed like fodder by those spider demons. And the master thinks the current set of hashiras may be the strongest ever.

kimetsu no yaiba episode 22 was pretty good. the designs of the hashira are cool too. i like the look of the big one and this one looks like hitsugaya toshiro from bleach but as drug addict lol.

I remember how much I hated his guy when I read this part in the manga, but he's now my 2nd favorite hashira (first is the flame hashira)

His actions are also very understandable as everybody hates demons. He's just not open-minded like Zenitsu

Everything was hopeless and all off a sudden they are spamming dead parents ninjutsu... Parents appearing and giving them cheat codes... Their mum literally slapped Nezuko awake and unlocked her demon blood ninjutsu...

Animation was epic and everything, beht plenty shenanigans in that episode

As for nezuko's mom appearing b4 her, well, it's not the first time ghosts appear and assist/interact with the characters in this anime and trust me, it's not the last....
As for tanjiro's power up, it's not the first time for an mc to defy death with some seemingly bs technique mid battle. But then, according to what shinobu said, one's life can flash b4 his eyes b4 death, causing old memories to surface and all that. So it's not strange that tanjiro remembered that breathing technique his dad taught him.There's more to that stuff than u think. If I say more, I'll be giving spoilers, so lemme stop here. But ionno, it's like you're looking for reasons to hate the episode just because everyone else seems to like it

The action scenes were great, the music was amazing and animation was mind-blowing. The episode was great. End of story.

Honestly though, as far as shonen anime goes, its a huge breath of fresh air (no pun intended) compared to them black clovers and boku no heroes

Exactly!! One of the things I like about it is that the protagonist is extremely likeable and his goals are very simple and understandable . He doesn't want to be the wizard king, hokage or the best hero, he just wants to save his sister.

Kimetsu no yaiba episode 19 was amazing. Probably my best episode so far. It was nice to see the hinokami dance finally animated, and as expected, ufotable didn't disappoint

At the point where the manga is, a demon that strong will be considered as fodder 4 tanjiro..... The top 6 12 moons are overwhelmingly powerful

The 12 moons are divided into 2 groups, 6 upper moons and 6 lower moons... That demon is a lower moon. The lower moons are strong but they are nothing compared to the upper moons. They keep getting killed and replaced, but no upper moon has died in the last 100+ years as they're just too strong

One Piece is one of those mainstream animes I can't get into rn, maybe later but not now, the art style doesn't appeal to me and someone said I have to wait till episode three hundred and something before the animation gets better and you know what I decided....

The manga might actually be better, but I don't have the time to read it tho. I used to really hate black clover anime, but one day,out of boredom, I decided to read a recent chapter of the manga. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed it. So i guess one piece is like that, a good manga with a crappy anime adaptation

I used to be like you, but one piece is one of those anime that you give time to grow on you since the art style doesn't please everyone, its one of those animes that's so diverse with an ever expanding world and each arc is just so well written to the last detail

I've watched over 70 episodes of one piece and I don't think I can ever give it another try..... Apart from the art, another thing I hate is the fact that the actual content in each episode is just about 5-8 mins. It's like they are just trying to make it as long as possible

This is a strong contender for Anime of the Season tho... Not anywhere as hyped as the others like Kimetsu no Yaiba, but this Season's episodes have been Gold ✔️✔️

I love bungou stray dogs, but mehn this season is not that great. For example, when Dazai was shot by a sniper, why didn't dey just use dat woman in the armed detective agency to heal him?
