Why bad bad things just dey happen to US military Infrastructure and personnel lately? If no be helicopter crash na ship burn. Oga o. |
Some things are just strange about this country. No matter how easy a phenomenon is, when it gets to Nigeria, it becomes difficult. We have about 8 littoral States in Nigeria so we need at least 5 functional ports, yet the majority of our cargo goes through the heavily congested Apapa port. Why not build more? |
A 27 year old Nigerian footballer is celebrating his 7th wedding anniversary. Miraculous. Egbon go don comot like ten years from his real age because there's no way a 20 year old struggling Nigerian footballer will decide that marriage is the next thing ![]() |

Normal level. With the way dbanj was catching cruise, its obvious they're cool with each other. It will be hard for jazzy to catch cruise at the headies stage considering the fact that olamide was also present at the event. All of them go dey form maturity now. That is the first time they'll both be at the headies since that fight. Even olamide was acting cold on stage. Headies has lost its vibe, perhaps the reason why they had to host this edition in the US. |
Jaymoney5000:Na wa o. You don't have to be a yahoo boy to know certain things. If you're tech savvy, these things are not so difficult to figure out. I will never engage in any form of fraud, be it online or offline in my life. So help me God. |
I believe its mostly for fraud. Have you ever checked your Facebook friend's list and seen white people (naija scammers obviously) and you don't remember sending a request to any oyinbo? The thing is Facebook usually blocks new accounts created by these fraudsters because they've marked their IP addresses. That's why they rather hack someone's account rather than create a new one. And also old accounts look legitimate. Their targets will easily fall victim to an account created in May 2009 than one created in May 2021. |

The rate of gun violence is very alarming in the US. People buy guns easily over there. It would have been one of the safest places on earth if not for their silly obsession with firearms, and to make things worse, buyers don't go through any rigorous evaluation process like other countries like Switzerland and Iceland. |
This second wave of COVID-19 is getting really deadly. May God protect us. In the meantime lets not forget to #WearAMask and #MaintainSocialDistancing |
Imagine this level of cruelty just to get rich quick and flaunt riches in people's faces. People do all sort of evil things to make money and when asked the source of their wealth, they say its God. When people doubt their claims, they call them haters. We need to change our belief and value system in this country. As religious people we believe God is the source of all good things - wealth inclusive, but Nigerians have taken advantage of this to lie against the most high. God can bless anybody miraculously, but his works are mysterious, not unreasonable. Honestly, we live in a sick society. |
Imagine Kylie Jenner having 206 million followers. Plastic boobs, plastic ass, botox, no talent, no impact, just famous. And she's a role model to a lot of young girls. There was even a time her fans were raising funds for her so she could become the youngest 'self-made' billionaire. Someone who is freaking rich already. This life no balance at all. |
She played Ibukun Awosika in the movie "Citation". |

IpobAntidote:Well, i get your point. Now think about this, if the United States with their better and advanced drainage system still experience this kind of flooding, imagine what will happen if the same amount of rainfall pours in Lagos. it would be a disaster. Flood would literally swallow up houses and people would loose their lives and property. |
IpobAntidote:It mostly happens in littoral regions, and its always flash flooding. It doesn't even happen during normal rainfall. Kindly read more on flash flooding. |
NOC1:Where exactly did you get your points from? 1.With adequate planning, Lagos can be saved from flooding. 2.Lagos is not seated below sea level. 3.Less than 50% of its land were reclaimed. In fact, all your points are invalid, the problem Lagos has is with the drains and public waste disposal. The drains are too shallow. Netherland is a country below sea level and they found a solution to their problem. They built a lot of water channels, canals and dykes. So if Lagos is indeed serious about tackling flooding, let them follow the Dutchs footsteps. Attached are pictures if water tunnels in the US. Compare it with what we have in Lagos. The difference is clear.

@OP, this your attitude won't help you. You're not in the best position to determine the process of getting paid by FBN. The woman said visit the legal department, you refused. You came here trying to gain sympathy. All your rants here are based on assumption if you don't know, because you don't know what the legal team has to say, you just assumed they will cheat you. The legal department will not tie you down(except there is something you're not telling us.) Give them the benefit of the doubt. Visit the legal department, if then you realise its a ploy not to pay you then you can contact twitter influencers to help you out. Things go viral quickly on twitter. You didn't even have to place an ad on nairaland in the first place. Pay two or three influencers to help you, some might not even charge you if they feel pity for you. |
Emk5556:Its not about the buildings being old, but the quality of the materials used during the construction. There are over 200 years old buildings still standing strong all over Europe. We need effective quality control and standard checks in this country. |
