Business › Re: 3 Youngest Nigerian Billionaires Today.No.1 Is Lagos Island Biggest Boy(pics) by mart2k(m): 11:50am On Nov 28, 2015 |
Mztarstrechy: Money, fame and power are just some of the attributes that make today’s world billionaires who they are and these young outstanding Nigerians have achieved that in a very short time. Young, brimming with ideas and and a determination to achieve the impossible, these three young men are pragmatically carving a niche for themselves in the global centre stage as respectable billionaires in their own right:
1. Sijibomi Ogundele Sijibomi:
He is notably the youngest Nigerian man so far to reach a billion in earnings from business investments. The 34 year old entrepreneur who is the CEO of Sujimoto, a real estate business empire, was featured in Forbes Africa as a brave young Entrepreneur, an astute businessman with the capacity to change the Nigerian real-estate industry. Mr. Ogundele boasts of a vast degree of experience as a venture capitalist and investment strategist has provided a solid background in ensuring Sujimoto achieves its mission in the establishment of classy housing units in Nigeria that can compete with its counterparts globally. He was pictured with the King of Dubai in one of his photos. In a previous interview with Punch, Sijubomi revealed his affection for fast cars and antique watches. He got the inspiration for the name Sujimoto from a Japanese university professor he encountered, Dr. Sujimoto Koga who had a profound influence on him. The very articulate Siju loves the luxurious lifestyle and he is not afraid to enjoy the best things in life. At 33, he bought a pricey Patek Phillipe wristwatch that costs $150,000 (N23 million) and when asked, he said he procured it so his grandson can one day use it. The young man who had a very humble beginning in Agege is responsible for the popular Medici Terraces at Milverton Road, Ikoyi. The buildings are architectural masterpieces that would make jaws drop instantly. Mr Ogundele is on the fast lane to unparalleled wealth and he is just a few years away from becoming the next Dangote. His exploits have helped to put Nigeria’s name on the global map especially in the real estate and construction trade.
2. Ladi Delano Ladi Delano:
He earned his first millions by going into the liquor business during his time in China. At the young age of 22, he founded Solidarnosc Asia, a Chinese alcoholic beverage company that made Solid XS, a premium brand of vodka. Delano is now the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bakrie Delano Africa – a $1 billion joint venture with the $15 billion Bakrie Group of Indonesia at the age of 35. Ladi re-invented himself and his brand with Bakrie Delano Africa which is centered on identifying investment opportunities in mining, agriculture and oil & gas and executing them in Nigeria. In one of his photos,he was pictured with former president, Olusegun Obasanjo. He has been featured by Forbes as one of Nigeria’s top earners to watch out for in the nearest future.
3. Igho Sanomi:
The 40-year-old Igho Sanomi is the founder and CEO of Taleveras Group, a Nigerian energy, power and construction conglomerate. He was born in Delta State to a devout catholic father who was a retired Assistant Inspector General of the Nigerian Police. Mr Sanomi’s mother, Mabel Iyabo Sanomi holds a Royal title of Yeye Jemo of Isotun Ijesha Kingdom in Osun State. Taleveras is arguably one of Africa’s largest energy trading companies, trading close to a billion barrels of crude oil and millions of tons of condensates, gasoline, jet fuel and LPG every year. Taleveras also owns substantial stakes in two oil blocks in Nigeria as well as lucrative production sharing contracts (PSCs) in three offshore oil blocks in Ivory Coast. The group Power subsidiary constructs electrical substations in Nigeria and also owns a majority stake in the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company. The towering conglomerate has an annual turnover of several billions of dollars. Igho Sanomi is the controlling shareholder of the group. At 40, Mr Sanomi is arguably one of the youngest kings of oil and gas Nigeria has ever seen.

henryanna36: Having a successful acting career doesn’t seem to be enough in Africa as a woman is expected to be married at a certain age. But these women seem to have defied all odds and are content being single at such age, after all, ‘life they say begins at 40′.Trezzy Blog present seven actresses who are above 40 years old and are currently living the singles life:
1. Kate Henshaw 43 :
Known as one of the most popular and talented actresses in Nollywood, not much has been said about her relationships but she was once married to Rod Nattal back in 2000 but the two split and she has been single ever since then. Her being single might have stemmed from a statement where she alleged she couldn’t date Nigerian men.
2. Rita Dominic 40:
Rita Dominic Nwaturuocha is a very outstanding actress and fashionista. One of the few celebrities who has almost no scandal to her name, the actress is regarded by many as “a cultured lady”. And while her fans and the whole world are asking, “What is she waiting for to get married?”, she keeps doing her thing on our TV screen undeterred. With her beauty, charisma and charm, she seems to have all it takes but is missing a man.
3. Monalisa Chinda 40:
Monalisa Chinda is another actress who is still keeping it single. Though, once married to Dejo Richards, the talented actress has refused to give marriage another try and is yet to say ‘i do’ to another person.
4. Bimbo Akintola 45:
Versatile actress, Bimbo Akintola is another relationship enigma, The sultry actress has the ability to blend into any role given her but hasn’t quite snatched Mr. Right. Acording to her: “There is no such thing as an ideal man. There is no perfect man or woman. What you have is work in progress. Once you meet half-way, you just have to build from there.”
5. Bukky Wright 48:
Yoruba actress, Bukky Wright continues to dazzle even at 48. Beautiful, attractive and talented, the mum of three is still single!
6. Shan george 44:
Actress, Shan George can easily pass for a young lady with her agility and beauty. The Cross River State star is over 43 years old but there is no telling as she can easily pass for a 28 years old lady. The mulatto, Cross River State born star has been begged by fans to settle down several times. But it seems like she is still willing to mingle.
7. Eucharia Anunobi:
Over 40 actress cum televangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, is over 40 years and still has the ability to be appealing. The single mother recently agreed that she is seriously praying for a husband after her marriage to Innocent Ekwu broke down some years ago.
NB:The views are that of the writer.I stand to be corrected.

However, I also do empathise with your friends Rita and Andy. It is very normal that they expect you to pay part of the rent (in the case of Rita), or get something in return (Andy). It was quite a difficult situation for all involved. Try putting yourself in their shoes. just read ur comment again n again. thatsincerechic: TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Now I am tired... Just as many of you have taken your time to read this story so have i taken my time in writing it. I cannot please you... I am not writing this story to satisfy your sexual urge(this is to those that are only concerned about Bleep) I started out with a good intention of narrating my story to many out there who are going through what I went.. I wanted them to learn from this. Now to those who want a summary, this is a story, stories are usually long narratives. Pls have it in mind that as I post comments I also see comments on this thread.. Majority of which are of obscene thoughts and it's a big distraction to me... Now do this Imagine you were with friends, or should I say students whatever setting you wanted, and you were telling your story and some are throwing one or two sentence which is totally out of order, not what you have in mind because it is not what you experienced. Now how would you feel To those that say I was running out of lies because I haven't mentioned the part where I had sex, pls bridle your tongue because You can not tell my story for me. And to those who say they are bored with the story, just as you are bored, I am also bored because I was no longer seeing reasonable comments as I progressed and i am pretty sure that majority of those that tarried along up till this point are those that are eager to read and enjoy the sex scene. Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, I didn't start my story to ENTERTAIN but rather to ENLIGHTEN you on what is going on in our society. To those saying I was making the stories shorts so i could garner pages, well sorry to say this but I think you are myopic, if you religiously followed from the beginning you would see comments on when I said I was at work. And to the young man, that asked me why I Did not type everything out in a computer and uploaded all once instead, well you see sir, I started this story after a thought came to my mind, I was so motivated that I decided to register as a member on nairaland because I have always been a visitor on nairaland and this is my first topic on nairaland. I actually thought I could tell it peaceful as it progressed and not to be confused at the long run by many of you who wanted a different story.
Since you are not patient enough to know how I used what i had to get what I wanted.... You would probably never know.
My experiences are my precious moments because they shaped me into what I am today, and I won't have it altered because I want to tell a story on nairaland.
At this junction I drop my pen!
# walks out of thread******* OP, according to ur story, u v spent 6-8months now. I mean frm d time u resume at sch til d time u left Andys place. Can u pls swear dat u neva had sex during d period. Dnt lie o if u dnt want thunder to fire u |

thatsincerechic: After Andy and i had finished eating and i was about clearing the dishes he said "Come" I paused and turned around, looked at him, he was sitting on his mattress while I was standing holding the dishes. He told me to drop the dishes, and sit down that he had an important issue to discuss with me and then he continued with a question. "What do you take me for" and i was like "what, I don't get" Immediately, I sat up because I was slouching on the mattress. I was not expecting to hear that from him. He was the coolest guy I had ever met. "you must think I am dumb or probably stupid right" he continued And immediately I put on a questioning look. "really I don't want to say much but I don't know why you don't want to be my girlfriend yet you can comfortably live with me since the beginning of the semester ". Beginning of the Semester was an exaggeration of course. I tried to explain things to him but Andy was bent on this. " Oh please cut it" he interrupted me "you are spoiling my runs.... " Runs? I thought "... girls cannot visit me because you live with me, when I tell them I'm single, they laugh, and ask how it was possible for a married man to be single all because of you and yet you don't want to be my girlfriend, you don't want anything intimate... " He mimicked me when he said the word intimate. "..... To tell you the truth I am tired of this crap" he bellowed. "so are you saying I should leave your house? " I challenged him, I wanted to blackmail him emotionally and i finally came to a conclusion that Andy was never going to break. " the choice is yours " he finally said I didn't need to hear more before I left his side and went to his wardrobe for my luggage. I couldn't bear to hear those harsh words. Andy was indirectly telling me to pack up and leave and i got the message quite alright. As I packed my things I paused at intervals, hoping he would change his mind and apologise but I was stunned when Andy got to where I was, behind me and.... ...and grab ur boobs frm behind at d same time squeezing n pressing hard on ur butt while u remain weak n so powerless b4 he finally shift ur black pant one side n inserted his big kondo in2 ur.... thatsincerechic: I had resumed fully for the second semester. I brought, from home, a small sack of garri, four tubers of yam, a bunch of unripe plantain and some vegetables. I told my parents they weren't necessary but they insisted I went with the food items and i was grateful. I also brought along my luggage, how I had missed my clothes, shoes, and other accessories. Indeed there was nothing like your own. Rita on the other hand did not go for holiday, this semester was different, many students were working harder academically to improve on their grades. My results were out, and there were no carry-over courses and i was grateful to God. During the second semester I was very dedicated to God, became a worker in church and joined the prayer and the publication unit. I was also introduced to all night reading by some course mates, we did brainstorming of some occasions. I was helping some of my lazy course mates to write assignments, and when I realised the demands were getting too high, I demanded for payments, and everything was working out well for my good until one day.. I was seated on the balcony of Rita's apartment which was upstairs, I was enjoying the view below when Rita came to me and said.. "Babe how far" "cool " I replied. Then she continued " you know, since we are practically living like roommates, I was wondering if it would be a nice idea for us to continue that way" "Okay... " I said I knew where she was headed to but I played dumb, I was thinking until I realised Rita was still talking. " What I mean is, after this semester, we will be paying equality for this place and the rent is N180,000 naira" "Ehn! " I almost shouted. " wow I didn't know it was that expensive I said smiling at her and expecting the next But Rita meant business, there was no smile on her face, even her glowing eyes were dim and she appeared very serious, I saw that too and I became serious, my eyes were pacing and my body was tensed. So my share was N90,000 we concluded. Utility bills was N4,000 making a total of N94,000. "How did she think I was going to remit that kind of money when I don't even have close to N5,000 in my account" I said to myself after she left. I had been living from hand to mouth. The money I was getting from making student's hair, writing of assignments were used to satisfy my immediate needs. I had faith that something positive would come up, After all we were only into the middle of the second semester and i felt I still have a lot of time to plan, save alot and provide my share for payment of the rent. I went to bed that night, thinking hard, fantasising, hoping and praying. The rest of my nights were similar to this particular night and I realised how much I had lost weight by the end of the semester just by thinking....... Op u can lie o, u mean u did not Bleep tru out 1st semester up to d middle of 2nd semester? Abeg, fear God n stop telling us lies |

Mztarstrechy: With their brightly coloured robes, ornate thrones and legions of flunkeys attending every whim, they seem every bit the archetypal African kings. Nigeria’s traditional Monarchs may have been stripped of their powers half a century ago, but they appear to have lost little of their regal pomp and splendour as this fascinating series of portraits shows.
The photographs are provided by popular photographer George Osodi who toured Nigeria for a series of photographs entitled ‘Kings of Nigeria’.
1. Alhaji Dr Ado Abdullahi Bayero:
Posing on his ornate throne, Alhaji Dr Ado Abdullahi Bayero was the ‘Emir of Kano’, a position he held since 1963. A former ambassador to Senegal he was renowned for his abundant wealth, which has been amassed by investing in the stock market and agriculture. In one of the photos above,he was pictured out for a ride, being attended by aides as he sits on the back of his vintage Rolls Royce on his way to the Central Mosque in Kano. As a well-known and celebrated Nigerian photographer, Mr Osodi was granted rare access to the palaces and throne rooms of these hereditary rulers who now serve as living repositories of Nigeria’s enormous cultural heritage. He told Al-Jazeera: ‘There are frequent clashes among different ethnic groups… Lots of people have lost trust in their identity. I felt it was important that we see this diverse culture as a point of unity instead of seeing it as something that should divide us as a nation
2 HRM Agbogidi Obi James Ikechukwu Anyasi II,'The Obi of the Idumuje Unor kingdom’
HRM Agbogidi Obi James Ikechukwu Anyasi II, ‘The Obi of the Idumuje Unor kingdom’, was until his death, the longest reigning African Monarch. He was crowned king on October 9, 1946 at the age of 22. His robe, depicting a young Queen Elizabeth, gives a clear nod to the period of British colonial rule.
3. His Majesty, Wilson Ojakovo Oghoghovwe Oharisi III:
He was made the ‘Ovie of Ughelli’ in 1980 and ruled over the great kingdoms of Ughelli and Urhoboland for more than 33 years.
4. Alayeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade, the late ‘Ooni of Ife’:
Born in 1930, he has enjoyed a colourful life first working for his father’s business, then with the Nigerian Tribune newspaper, before attending Northampton College in the United Kingdom where he studied business management. In 1963 he became Sales Director of the state-owned National Motor company in the Nigerian capital Lagos. He later formed a company to distribute Soviet-built vehicles and equipment in Nigeria. He died this year.
5.His Royal Majesty Oba Oyetunji Jimoh Olanipekun Larooyell, the ‘Ataoja of Osogbo’ in southwest Nigeria:
He worked as a teacher for many years, firstly at a baptist day school. He rules over 300,000 subjects. He has studied management in London and is a qualified chartered accountant.
6.Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekuzi I the ‘Dein of Agbor’:
Just two years and four months after his birth in July 1977 he was crowned king following the unexpected death of his father. It meant he was the youngest king anywhere in the world. He once served as the Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, one of Nigeria’s most prestigious universities.
7. Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa I:
He was crowned ‘Oba of Benin Kingdom’ in the Edo state of Nigeria in 1979. Before that he studied at Cambridge university before being appointed to many top government posts.
8. Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman:
He is the 50th ‘Emir of Kasina’. He was coronated in 2008 five days after the death of his father, Emir Muhammad Kabir Usman. He is remembered as a peacemaker during the Nigerian civil war and has a passion for Polo.
9. His Majesty, Deinmowuru Donokoromo III, The ‘Pere of Isaba’:
He was pictured posing with his royal sceptre outside his palace. He ruled over the Kingdom of Isaba in the oil rich South-West area of Delta state since 1983. fake list. How much dos each of them worth? About 2months ago, forbes listed. Ten richest kings in Nigeria. D list is reliable because it came frm a very reliable source.
