Kx: 2 key things I picked from Dasuki's response:
1. Ex presido GEJ signed off on the procurements. One wonders, could GEJ litrarily have approved docs without having full grasp of what he was approving?
2. Dasuki reportedly tendered letters by security chiefs acknowledging receipt of "allegedly supplied military harwares". You ask, do we have the history of public officers endorsing the receipt of materials on paper without actual receipts solely for corrupt serving selfish interest? Fuel subsidy brouhaha comes to mind.
We have seen things like this before. Over to the court. all what he said are trash. Instead of him wasting his time explaining all dis in d pages of newspaper wit d op that somebody wil listen to him, he shld instead honor d invitation of d panel that was set up and explain things to them. He shld pls spare of dis rubbish |

Dasuki doesn't want to put some salient issues and contract in public domain but he wants a public trial.
I just don't trust this man..even though he sounds so confident (Which is typical of real criminals)
I remember few months ago when he released some "downloaded" images of 'sophisticated weapons' he claimed to have bought during his time in office. These weapons no one could feel or touch. don't mind d silly thing, he only used d bolded to stir confusion maybe. But d trurh is dat he must face d law |

tobiasbeecher: hmm some tribal bigots have started asking no Igbo man in the list, but they forget that the Igbos have the highest number wealthy individuals in Nigeria! No tribe in Nigeria can equate the Igbos in terms of individual millionaires or billionaires. The Igbos don't have one super rich individual, but multiplicity of super rich individuals; no tribe can beat that! Continue to deceive ursef |
Business › Re: List Of Nigerian Billionaires - Forbes by mart2k(m): 8:26pm On Nov 18, 2015 |
ezeagu: That's not really the point anyway, I've partly explained why there are more billionaires in places like northern Nigeria. Another is the structure of the society, in the north and west their societies are a lot more structured and many of this is because of their strong kingship/rulership systems which also lead to many aristocratic families sucking up the wealth of a community, or even owning the whole community and rendering the people serfs. This is not the case in especially Igbo culture where a system of individualism is still very strong (which is why there are multiple 'south east' threads for every Igbo state). People often mistake the individualism for weakness or disunity, but the fundamental idea that everybody is equal (well except osu and slaves in the past) is what has lead there to be more trust, less hierarchy, and which leads to less billionaires. useless excuses. Ur trading can't fetch u d kind of wealth blue chips companies can provide, daz y I say ibo traders shld never compare themselves wit yorubas who deal in real business |

Politics › Re: A Biafran Declares Nigeria Dead by mart2k(m): 3:50pm On Nov 18, 2015 |
zuchyblink: A Biafran leader has described the struggle by Nigerian rulers to keep Biafraland as part of Nigeria as an effort in futility. Uche Asiegbu, the Head of Directorate of State of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) made the declaration recently when he insisted that Nigeria was already dead. According to him, Nigeria was made to last 100 years, which expired on last year. He argued that only people who did not have dignity as black people would want Nigeria to remain. “The amalgamation, which was a slight on our humanity and our civilization as black people, was to last for 100 years and has ended in the 31st of December 2014. We have the original documents to prove it. So all we are saying is that we want Biafra”. Asiegbu then declared that Biafrans no longer want to remain in Nigeria, either as a confederate country or under true federalism. “We don’t want federalism or true federalism, all we want is Biafra. Before the British came we have been in existence”. Continuing, he said it was insult enough that Britain forced them into a country, and worse that they were named after a river, which also was named by the White-man. “There is no country called Nigeria. Have you seen a country named after a river before? Can a black man go to a Whiteman’s country and give them another name, expecting them to forget their real name. Can a black man name their country for them? Why must we be forced to answer a name that is not our name?” Asiegbu also saw everything wrong with Britain forcing different peoples and different civilizations to live together in one country. “Why must we be forced to stay together with peoples that have nothing in common with us? We don’t have the same DNA with this Hausa/Fulani people. We don’t have anything in common with Yoruba people. We are the Indigenous People of Biafra. We have been existing thousands of years before the white people came to our land. We will not have anything to do with this people anymore. All we want is Biafra” he concluded. this man is high on som cheap drugs. His points ar so use.less and baseless. Sombody shld pls call his attention to dis trash biko |

examhall: https://examhall.net/home/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Ike-Ekweremadu.jpg The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu yesterday, revealed how he escaped an assassination attempt on his life by a hair’s breath. In a statement by his media aide, Uche Anichukwu, the deputy president of the Senate said the assassination attempt occurred at about 10:00am between Apo Flyover and Dantata Construction Company’s yard, close to the Old Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Headquarters junction while en route the National Assembly. He said the suspected assassins carried out the attack in an unmarked, tinted, brand new, white-coloured Mercedez Benz AMG E63 and were driven by a man who appeared to be of middle-east origin. “The vehicle, which was positioned by the Apo Bridge, on noticing that the Deputy President of the Senate’s convoy took the right turn to join the Nnamdi Azikiwe expressway instead, made a turn and attempted to ram into the convoy, but was blocked. “The driver, however, sped off to the Apo Roundabout and on sighting the convoy of the Deputy President of the Senate, violently broke into the convoy and made several frantic attempts to ram into the Senator’s official car”, Anichukwu said. Senator Ekweremadu said the incident had already been reported to the security agencies.
