yes it does. that is why i have put my current relationship on the side burner so to speak to focus on me and what is that i want.

honestly its a defense mechanism. you know? when someone like us has been burned before we try to avoid having it happen again and pull away from the next potential perps (aka current lovers) before we get the rug pulled from under us again. its not a good thing and we actually continue the cycle and create more of us in the mean time. to avoid pain we inflict it. you have to take timke to focus on you and become a stronger person. when that is accomplished then u can focus on a relationship.

but when you say to yourself " I'll take a break from women" that's when they become available to you the most. Still I agree it's the best thing to do right now.

Ok nairalanders I need your help on this. I have a serious problem with women. I easily fall out of love with any woman I date. When I get a new girlfriend things start off smoothly and before i know it, I lose all feelings and then a breakup follows. It's not a use and dump situation because in some cases i've fallen out of 'love' even before any intimacies. I'm currently in a relationship but im begining to get tired of the whole thing again. Ive been contemplating breaking up but then for how long will I continue like this. It really troubles me because I don't want to this to affect me when I get married.
