OP do you know, that receiving a WhatsApp message from the babe you want to knack also causes a surge of dopamine. Anything in which can be classified as a reward is connected to the neuron that secretes the dopamine chemical. That's why social media is so addictive.

OP I know you know what you are talking about, so I wouldn't try and argue because I will lose.

My strong point is, all the harm you listed that Marijuana causes, cannot be compared to the harm caused by drinking a litre of coke everyday because that is physical harm, that is amputation, that is failure of one of your organs and that in most cases is death.

On addiction, everything is addictive. Sex is addictive. Alcohol is addictive. Playing video games is addictive.

On emotional problems, we have emotions we are bound to have emotional problems in life, marijuana is not the source of emotional problems.

On the cognitive aspect of the brain, I can agree to that it causes short term memory loss. But it is the same thing with alcohol. (Check the new studies that have come out)

Brain fog, I don't know what you mean by that.

Withdrawal symptoms is the same thing with addiction, no matter whatever you do and you get addicted, when you try and stop it is hard. However, marijauana does not give you the alcohol or cocaine kind of symptoms were you lose weight, fall sick and shit.

All in all, I'm not advising anyone to smoke or not to smoke. My advice is live the life you want because if you listen to half of the things people say about what is harmful to your health, you should be dead already.

lol u can't blame them. There's an addictive streak when u use weed. They can't help it. They got to get high or stoned.there's this guy at the place i used to stay.he dropped out of his 2nd yr in the univ cos of his excessive potsmoking. Most times he will steal his parents money to buy weed and sometimes if dere is no money he will beat his dad until the youths in d area will beat him up or they call d police to arrest him. A very loquacious and violent looking individual. We used to nickname him as kolomental. Weed really turn d guy brain.

There is a big difference between discipline and outright abuse.

What would you say about a teenager in University asking her dad for school fees and he angrily says she should go and sleep with men to get money, simply because he is quarreling with their mother?
Now that the lady has hustled her way through school by herself, taking up menial jobs and amounted to something good in life, he expects her to still recognize him as her father.
That is just the least compared to the physical and mental abuse the lady has gone through in her so-called father's hands. The scars on her body tell the story. And no, she wasn't a stubborn child.

People have no idea how abusive some parents can be. And a lot of them don't speak up
