Sir liam neeson came out and said he almost attack a blackman years ago because he was racist, he is still regretting it because his career almost ruined.. Assuming it was a women you will see comments like " she was still young and depressed ".." It's all in the past now so let's forget about it ".... The hypocrisy is real undecided

1 & 2. You answered this later on: the men who stood up for the women refused to stand up for their fellow men.
Those who fail to stand up for men and women who assault men and think men shouldn't assault women are guilty of gender equality compromise. They are at fault.

3. Men bear the burden of called a rapist and women bear the burden of called a slut. Also look at the societal belief on the consequences of sex on men and women. Female rapists will always be slapped on the wrist as long as men are given the free pass to be sexually loose without shaming.
What?! What irrationality. Are you trying to justify gynocentric favouritism when it comes to rape cases? Are you trying to say it's alright for society to be biased against men in rape cases since women bare the burden of being called a slut? How dare you compare rape and slut labelling? Do you know rape is a grievous crime while slut shaming is not? Rapists go to jail but sluts don't. Besides, society doesn't just label a woman a slut until she earns it by readily sleeping around. Even if they were analogous, two wrongs don't make a right.

Besides, society doesn't limit the rapist label to men hence you are wrong. Men and women are recognised as rapist when they rape someone. The problem is when men are sent to jail after being accused by a woman without evidence. Because of this, innocent people are tagged rapist and they spend years in jail for a crime they never committed. Do women who are called sluts spend years in jail for being a slut? Do innocent women who are falsely accused of being sluts without evidence spend years in jail? So what are you saying? How dare you compare being a rapist and being called a slut? Today, look around you and see sluts (eg. Mia Khalifa) getting married and the right to use their body as they please being respected. If a woman sleeps around, by definition she is a slut. What's the problem in that? Please let's be sensible. Compare what male rapist go through; what sluts go through and tell me if they are the same.

Calling someone a slut or a rapist is not crime instead it's freedom of speech. Being a slut is not a crime because a woman can do what she likes with her body. However being a rapist is a criminal offence ----- a serious one. So don't strike an analogy between the two.

4. Addressed in 3 above.
Still a gross irrationality. Two wrongs don't make a right and try to be factual. Nothing, I repeat, nothing justifies sending someone to jail for years over a mere rape allegation that has no evidence. Female rapists don't get a pass because male are allowed to be sexually loose. Even if that were the case, which is not, it is still not justified because a man, just like women, has the right to be sexually loose but a woman doesn't have the right to rape a man. To suggest both are justified because they balance out each other is pure nonsense in every possible way.

Your analogies have been inappropriate so far. I am quite disappointed.

5. Part A, completely agree. Part B, already addressed.
Good you agreed with the first but I am quite disappointed with your take on the second.

6. I don't know the society you are referring to however in Nigerian society, a wife is expected to co-provide while taking care of the home. All the females who work around me contribute financially to their home while most of them sort out their house chores themselves.
Lol. All the women you know? The same Nigeria I am staying in? Anyone can make any claim on the Internet. Let me give you the benefit of doubt. Besides, I never said all women fit into the class of irresponsible women I described in my OP. Read the OP again.

7. Men & women get duped in love. I would also advise a man/woman doesn't train anyone till they are married. I have sadly even seen a case where the husband trained the wife after kids and she feels she is no longer his level.
You haven't been impressive as far as logic is concerned. This post is disjointed and irrelevant. I was simply listing how boys are pressured and exploited in relationship roles because society still gives them the burden of being the breadwinner and provider while absolving women of the responsibility of taking care of the house chores. This happens despite society claiming to have embraced gender equality.

What's worse, men are shamed for not solely taking on the role of being the breadwinner and provider or if they try to get assistance from their women. That's all my post is saying. I never said men are the only ones duped in relationships. SMH

8. Addresses your questions in 1 & 2
My post is valid except if you are irrational or dishonest with yourself.

9. Are you sure it is not a case of better lawyers? At staying in jail after proven innocent, it is worrisome and I would not be surprised in men staying away from the women. I hope American men rise up to that.
No. It's confirmed gynocentric bias. If it's not, why are female rapists and female false rape accusers let off with a slap on the wrist? Why are they not prosecuted? Can a better lawyer create evidence where there is no none and beat forensic results? No. It's simply gynocentric bias and it is rampant in US and Europe.

Exactly. That's one of the reasons the MGTOW movement started

10. Child support: a parent must support to the nurturing of their children. If the man has no custody, it is common sense that he brings bulk of the financial support.
Are you sure you read my post or did you come here to waste my time with emotional outbursts devoid of rationality? angry I never said men should not pay child support. All I said was women are not prosecuted for paternity fraud and men are still obliged by the gynocentric law to pay child support over a child that isn't theirs. That's were my grievance is. Read my OP.

@Alimony: I believe spouses are one and should split assets acquired in the marriage. Thereafter, they go their separate ways. I know Maradonna paid alimony to her ex.
SMH. You are not reading my post properly. If a man makes $24M as a single man, he married a broke woman and she divorces him, is she entitled to $12M? Or in some cases $14.4M?

11. If true, the men have to rise up and fight. You can't be duped and pay for it.
True. Finally making sense.

12. France as I read isn't big on feminism esp
3rd wave so we need to know the root of the law.
What?! Please read again. France is big on feminism and it's laws are geocentric as well. Even worse, they forbade men from having a DNA test on their kids. If it's not to protect cunning heartless sluts, why was that law made? Stop trying to make a case against the obvious, it's dishonest and irritating. The 3rd wave feminism is widespread thanks to the "liberals" on the left.

13. I agree it is madness for men to thought guilty until proven innocent. If men boycott the false #metoo ladies as damaged goods, it would send a message to others like her.
The MGTOW movement is gaining momentum.

14. I agree. Men need to rise up.
Men, most especially, and responsible women need to rise up.

15. I also agree.
Good. In addition, see for yourself and note that I didn't classify all women as "being like that."

@MGTOW: I understand the sentiment however, they are no different from the feminists they complain about.
This is false and incredibly ignorant. Read up on the MGTOW movement. I don't want to waste time spoonfeeding you on the origin of the MGTOW movement.

I have dated this lady for 5 years now, we are still dating.. we met during our undergraduate days, she has been a good person to me, very kind and supportive..
Here is the problem : All her family members know me.. Infact am like a son to them cause they do call on me for errands that need quick response, Infact her uncles(her dad is late n her mum got married) trust me wt money than her brothers ..Cuz she stays with her uncle..

After my NYSC, her uncle helped me secure a job with the highest academic Institution in Nigeria (NIPSS) ... Now they expect me to marry their daughter but to be frank I don't love the lady... I don't know how to just make her go away. I just want to avoid been controlled by her family, ... I tried to set her up so I could have something to hold on for the breakup to avoid her family's anger and any form of guilt.. but I end up pitying her and forgive her instead... I know they tried for me,i owe them alot..But how to get rid of her in an honorable way is what I don't know.....
You can call it wickedness if you like, but just give me the advice I need..
Ladies and Gentlemen Help a brother...
I this when boys are waking up, you are still looking for this falsehood called true love. When you want to marry, stop looking for true love, look for wife material and quality. Marry that girl.

You may insist on true love but know that it will never be reciprocated because to most women, your value is based on what you can provide. The moment you stop providing, you become like a broken hand ----- she can't do anything with it. She moves on to the next guy. It's then you know that this true love nonsense is only for movies, telenovelas and movies. The true love most women would show you are pure facades. Stop deceiving yourself.

You have seen a woman that has been helpful to you and wants to marry you, marry her and stop dulling yourself. My two cents.

Isn't it great.

Now you've extrapolated all the way from Cardi B to ragging on the entire African American culture. And then you turn around and call hip hop racist. Eff*ng mangina!

What are you going to do next, rag on South American culture for their cartels, on Russian and Italian culture for the mafia, on Japanese culture for the Yakuza, or Chinese culture for the Triad. Or do you just reserve your internalized racism for black americans?

See how hard you pivoted from being a menist to being an internalized racist? And if I call you a constipated orangutan, it's seem as though it's an insult even though it's actually an insult to the entire global population of orangutans.

Ranting like you've got a panocha where your phallus should be. IMBEC*LE!

I am not a racist, what have I said that's racist? I am a black man as well and I condemn racism in all forms. All I did was state facts. You were using the norms of the hiphop culture to justify Cardi B's crime and I bashed that. Not only that, I established a link between the adopted standards of the hiphop culture and crimes among the African American community.

Get your facts right and don't ever unduly brand me a racist. Dull fellow. This is the last time I would respond to you.

Romance › Re: Hypocrisy Of Society When It Comes To Gender Equality. by Martinez39(op): 6:50pm On Mar 30, 2019
LordAdam16:
Hip hop glorifies crime. The whole idea of having street cred is having a bad rap sheet. Which if I have to spell it out for you, since you're dumb af, means committing crimes. It might be anything from moving a bicycle to selling drugs and engaging in gang war.
The core of your stupidity in this discussion is this idea "since it's part of hip hop then it's okay." So if hip hop glorifies rape, misogyny and racism then it's okay because it's hip hop? I don't know how many times I have to drum it into your empty skull, it doesn't matter who or what endorses crime, crime is wrong. There should be no free pass for criminals. The glorification of crime and the ego of building a street cred are part of the most absurd vanities that humans engage in. Crime is crime you dingbat.

Much of Rick Ross "Hustlin" song was about drug dealing. It's a felony. The whole realness of gangsta rap actually boils down to have you even engaged in a criminal activity or be an accessory while out on the streets?
Singing about drugs is different from doing drugs. The former is allowed under freedom of expression while the latter is a criminal offence and the offender doesn't get a pass because he/she is affiliated with hip hop. A crime is a crime.

So if the whole realness of hip hop happened to be participation in racism, rape and misogyny, would you approve of that? It seems you approve of crime because it's part of hip hop. Who made it so that the hip hop culture and street credibility are the standard for classifying what crimes are okay and get a pass? A crime is a crime. Wasting someone else's life because of street cred and realness is a very stupid and wicked thing to do. Even more stupid is thinking these things are okay because it is the prevailing hip hop culture.

Do you think the rape and human trafficking at the American border are okay because it's part of the ways of Mexican gangs? angry

Now look yourself in the mirror and say this loud "I, LordAdam16, am a f00l."

Understanding this nuance is critical when evaluating Cardi B's statements. It's all about that realness venerated in hip hop culture. She's saying all of that to mean she's paid her dues, done all of those f*cked up sh*t, and ain't fake. It's got nothing to do with gender.
SMH. What stupidity. If you can accept crime because it's what the hip hop culture define as realness and paying your dues, then you are not alright in the head. A crime is a crime, why is this too difficult to understand?

That's why I started my first reply with "I heart calling out the hypocrisy. But..."
that "but" began your stupidity. A crime is a crime.

She's a f*cking gang member like many mainstream rappers.
Hurray! She gets a pass. undecided

Tekashi ordered a hit and was arrested. It wasn't his first. Dude is about getting out and he's getting witness protection because he ratted out and heads are expected to roll. When he releases a new album, it'd defo go platinum. So stop repeating your f**lish crime is a crime BS! Ain't no one got no time for that cr*p.
Lol. A crime is a crime. It does not matter who you are. A lot of catholic priest don't have time for "sexual assault of a minor is a crime."

Don't bring your misunderstood hood sociology to gender warfare.
Of all things for many black people to glorify, it's gang violence and other crimes. No wonder cops keep wasting your sorry criminal asses only to have you people screaming "BLACK LIVES MATTER." grin grin

Because out on the streets, everyone has to bleed and pay their dues. And this is not some US centric sh*t. Back then in sec sch somewhere in the SS. When there was inter public school conflicts, it was all hands on deck. I vividly remember the girls with one of our allied schools arriving with battle axes, daggers and sh*t.
SMH. The stupidity keeps expanding. In life everyone has to pay their dues but that doesn't mean you must indulge in violence and other crimes. You need to start setting better standards for yourself or get a rational and responsible mentor. Violence is not the standard. A crime is a crime. grin

@bold
Except in the case of self defence, those girls should be arrested and prosecuted if they assaulted anyone. There is no free pass or justification for them. I hope you don't mean to tell me that those girls should be given a free pass?

That's why I say I respect her and her craft. This is a lady who told an industry heavyweight on air that he could f*ck her but when it comes time to promote her much he'd start making excuses. Dude was flabbergasted. She's a straight shooter. Which you'd have to be when you've got both latino and black blood coursing through your veins.
And what's the point of this story? She was willing to trade her body, how does this justify crime or gives her a free pass? undecided

So for her, a crime is not a crime. A crime for her is like a kill for a cartel sicario. Feel me, p*nk a$$ bit*h n*gga?!
For the umpteenth time, a crime is a crime. *yawns* grin

The rest of my text is about women, who like Cardi B, proved themselves to be as resourceful as any man would under the circumstance and in so doing received utmost respect. Much like Cardi B is getting immense support and respect from the street for her statement.
Of course, when you have a culture and a group of people who glorify crime setting the standards for others, this is what you would expect. A very stupid and shallow lifestyle grin. Start setting better standards for yourself or go find a reasonable and responsible mentor. A crime is a crime. grin

Being resourceful doesn't have to be in a criminal way and it does not give any a free pass to anyone when it comes to crime. Off point talks.

When 50 was knifed then shot nine times over a hip hop beef, then retaliated and made a song about it; we were all jamming to it and giving him props. Cardi owns up to her own misdeeds and you want to use that to make a point on gender. Get the f*ck outta here, you st*pid whiny c*nt of an a$$hat.
You and who danced to 50cents' music? As I have said, singing about crime is not a crime but doing the crime is a crime. Also dancing to a song about crime is not a crime. Get these into your weak brain.

Bill Cosby admitted to his crimes too, where is he?

NUANCE, f*cktard. NUANCE!
grin Hallelujah.

Next time read and if you don't understand ask questions politely rather than act like a cr*tinous dipsh*t!
Start reasoning properly, educate yourself and learn to take corrections rather than acting like a f00l. grin A crime is a crime.

You asked for this! I'll tear you a new one if you keep this idi*cy up! You barked up the wrong tree, f*ckface!

-Lord
Lol. Keep letting a culture and a group of people who glorify violence and a life of crime set the standard for you. Hope your face now has tattoos all over it like the doodle notepad of a schizophrenic patient all in the name of realness? Yeye dey smell. grin
