rowenagold: Hello Everyone, So im researching grants and scholarships that foreign students can benefit from, such as the Borso di studio Laziodisu MAECI some of this grants are for specific schools. You can google them and see what comes up.
I understand that other grants such as accommodation busary etc can be gotten over there in Italy IF you have the ISEE Parificato Please if you have any info about this (especially those who are currently in school in Italy) pls kindly share
I am currently looking into getting the documentation for reciveing the ISEE Parificato in Italy, Kindly see the attached. https://www.studenti.unige.it/tasse/iseeuparificato/en/ it states that some documentation needs to be shown over there in Italy -Personal data -foreign incomes (regarding the year 2015) -foreign properties and financial assets (regarding the year 2016) -The documentation must be: -Issued by the competent offices in the country in which the incomes have been produced; translated into Italian by the competent Italian Diplomatic or International students
1. how can these documents be gotten here in Nigeria? someone said Income returns from the Tax office, some other person said from Commissioner of oaths' who did the income declaration, family unit, etc
Does anyone know the procedure or has anyone done this in the past for getting the documents for ISEE certification in NIGERIA? I sent you a pm please... Can we talk . |

Ciscogod: GLO is not as useless as the public seems it to be.. but the one man business role still plays out in most ways..
GLO still give one of the best service if not the best in Nigeria, I tell you today most of the ISPs we have in nigeria are on GLO infrastructure and service.. I work in an ISP and some clients do tell me we are better than GLO not knowing GLO is actually our backbone.
I must tell you GLO customer service is very poor.. We get upto 3Gbps of speed from GLO but if you call them(GLO NOC_Team) for any issue , it same as if you are calling any govt institution for service.. Its always poor. That's not true, most of them use IHS TOWER'S infrastructure or even PAN AFRICAN tower's infrastructure. Cheers |

Career › Re: Mechanical Engineering Or Computer Science? by martinsaba: 1:18pm On Oct 17, 2018 |
Gauss15: I'd need a candid advice on this nairalanders. I'm a 300L mechanical engineering student but after my 200L, I noticed I was no more drawn to mechanical engineering as I'd have to do some courses I've no interest in.
So far, the only courses I've come to really like in mechanical engineering is mechanics, strength of material and machine designs. Reason being that I want to major in robotics.
I've had thoughts of switching to electrical and electronics engineering because of my interest in embedded systems. But, it'd take me back to 200l and I'd have to spend extra 2yrs in school. But I thought of borrowing some courses from Elect and then switching over to computer science as I've been into programming that it makes me drop my mechanical engineering's textbooks too often.
Because I had lost some money last year and my detachment from mechanical engineering, I had dropped from 1st class to 2.1 which stands at impeding my chance of getting a scholarship to further my studies in Robotics. I will not be able to come up to a first class unless I borrow tons of courses. Being that scholarships are highly competitive, I'm considering switching to computer science because it harbours my love for programming and electronics. I'm 25, and considering that I'd drop down to 200L as opposed to the 400l I'm heading towards, I was supposed to graduate by '20 but I'd be graduating by '21 if I change to computer science which is just a year difference. By then, I'd be 28.
Am I making the right choice? I really don't have the passion for mechanical again. I need some pieces of advice and possible outcomes of my decision. If you what is good for you, remain in mech eng and finish, MSC in mechatronics, system eng or industrial eng and management, with a professional/practical course in automation you are will be ruling the world in terms of tech. With mechanical eng degree you can still further with robotics, embedded systems and nano science, these 4 courses are raking in million s for ppl outside Nigeria right now. Don't do the mistake I did, I switched to industrial Physics which is not far from mech, right now, I am hustling to go for MSC in mechatronics. I wish I remained where I was |

bameyi: Only the Almighty God grant peace to His own. We have records of abuse among Catholic priest who are even more respected among Catholic clergy than him. You could say all you want. Prove me wrong that non of such have ever happened in the Church. Not disputing the fact there have been abuse by some Catholic priest but is that the only sin he might have committed or priest commit? Why generalise? I am 1000% you don't know who this man is, also never say anything bad about the dead and finally, think and reason before you open your mouth to talk, not the other way round. Cheers |

Wisdomkosi: The Catholic Diocese of Makurdi has announced the death of Rev Fr. Angus Fraser, believed to be the longest serving teacher and missionary in Nigeria.
Fraser, who was aged 87, was born on April 8 1931 and hailed from a Caribbean Island country called Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Announcing the death in a statement on Monday in Makurdi, Fr Jude Ortese, chancellor of the diocese, said Fraser was the founding principal of Mount Saint Gabriel’s college, Makurdi in 1971 and also founded the Via Christi society.
Ortese said the Catholic church “was saddened to announce the death of Very Revd Fr Angus Fraser, the founding Principal of Mt St Gabriel’s Secondary School(MSG) Makurdi and founder of Via Christi Society”.
Ortese said Fraser died on the night of October 7, after a brief illness at Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough, near Orpington, United Kingdom, where he was receiving treatment.
Otese, however, said burial arrangements would be communicated later.
