david22uu: Some time the way Nigerian workers think baffle me.. The court should have simple closed down the company not ordering them to reinstate fired staff... its violation of the company right. The company has a right to fire and to hire services In this case there are two options, proper compensation of the fired staff according to their agreement that was signed and if the defendant cant not do so the company be closed... How wld u force a copany to collect back refute... not done abeg

lezz: What the source says about Nigerian firms and multinational firms run by Nigerians in Ghana is a fact.
The question : Are the aforementioned Nigerians actually in those positions in Ghana?
Is it true that a giant British pharmaceutical like GlaxoSmithKline opens shop in Ghana and has a Nigerian as the CEO?
This list didn't even address the thousands of SMEs, import and exports, Servicing, wholesale, micro and macro trading. Blieve me even MTN masts and servicing in Ghana is done by Nigerian companies.
Ecowas integration is what I see. Akuko |

lezz: The source was published behind the original post. One of the aforementioned is one the highest employer of labour in Ghana. One of ,not all of.May be the op should have listed that name only. |
Business › Re: List Of Nigerian Tycoons That Impact Ghana's Economy by Martmore: 9:52am On Sep 22, 2015 |
lezz: Firstly, I'm not yoruba . I'm a proud Nigerian. Second, the list didn't contain only the Yorubas. But they are in the clear majority. Also it is needless to say the list isn't an exhaustive account by any means. There was no mention of ABC transport company, or Glo or Dangote or even Oando to say the least.
Also the list didn't cover other section of the Ghanaian economy like SMES, real estate, dredging equipments etc. Where you eould like to see other NigerianNigerians of other regions i could furnish you with those but even this is awfully long enough.
The source is from a ghanaian too and there's no need for Nigerians to make the top 100 ghanaian wealthy list.
This thread is to show the highly managerial and visionary skills of Nigeria not an ethnic propaganda. This country has the best brains and people in all of Africa. As soon as our political leaders tap into this human resources, watch Nigeria attain her full glory. my post was in response to the op.he said these are the people sitting on the big executive chairs behind the CEOS of multinational oil firms controlling ghana's economy. My question is are those names listed, the people controlling ghana's economy? the only way to find out is by googling the top richest men in ghana. |

Welcome to lagos ibadan Yoruba media propaganda. The op said these nigerians run ghana's economy while ghanaians are appointed as deputies(a white lie).Google the top 100 richest ghanaians and you will not find these event managers and insurance brokers listed by the yorobatic op. |

Instead of us to look at how states can be independent of themselves, you guys are here bragging whether lagos can survive without oil or not.Countries like TOGO, BENIN, BOTSWANA, KENYA, CAPE VERDE and other african countries are surviving without oil or are they dead. For sure lagos can survive without oil, but it is not only lagos.States like Anambra, Abia, Kano can grow, not even survive without oil.For example, ABA witnessed the presence of govt last decade but the city is still standing and people are doing business. Places like Abiriba(small london) in Abia state, mbaise in Imo state, Agbor in Delta state, Ibagwa in enugu state etc were developed by the people.I guess a time will reach when the masses will stop paying taxes to govt but to town developement unions formed by the people to develope their towns. |
