just let it connect.if its asking,it may not be much.I once had the game but I lost it after resetting my phone.Just do a daily subscription and let it connect but if you suspect that its trying to download the data again, just uninstall it.It probably means that the data and the apk version may not be compatible or the apk's just crazy. |

zaiinneeii: Helo everyone, pls i just bought tecno m3 nd i want to knw d dos nd dnts involved in usin d fone. Any advice given wld be appreciatedEnjoy your beautiful phone but try not to do anything extraordinary with it. You can do some wonderful stuffs with your phone but some things are out of your limit if you don't know how an android works so its better not to try them at all. Things like: 1. Never root your phone if you're still a learner in Android. Not insulting but if you root without accurate knowledge about it,then your phone becomes exposed to the possibility of getting Bricked!!!...I mean Dead. 2. Never install font changing apps.Any at all!.They'll brick your phone.I don't know what's with m3 and font apps cos I used n3 and I was changing my font like every 3 days but coming to m3,it took me just one day to know that m3 is quite an enemy with font changing. Some have changed theirs but they don't know the impending danger cos changing back to the original font just made a friend's phone faint and never come back. 3. Chain fire 3D is a no no. just don't install.Please. 4. Ram expander seems like a cool app.its cool actually but its not advisable. What's sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander but remember that one man's food is another man's poison. It may do nothing to another persons phone but may wreck your phone. 5. Don't run too many tabs on opera mini. It'll slow your phone down considerably especially when you want to type on the same opera mini.I've got 17 tabs on right now and its like one key, one second. That's typing and waiting one second for what you've typed to appear.Except you're comfortable with it. 6. Under no circumstance should 'USB debugging' be disabled on your phone. If you root your phone and forget to leave this enabled, your phone becomes very easy to brick and a bit hard to unbrick. But on the contrary, you can decide not to root your phone and still completely enjoy it.I previously rooted my phone and then bricked it with a font app but since I've unbricked it, I decided not to root my phone and I've been enjoying it though I can root it anytime I want, I don't feel like yet cos I don't need it.But,you can root if you need it badly but remember the points above. |
mathemandy: I noticed this on my phone for a while;wheen my phone sleeps or I make it sleep, once it wakes my WiFi turns on immediately..after a while it will on my mobile network which could last up to 5secinds and then offs by itself or I turn it off....other times when the WiFi ons and I off it..it switches to mobile network by itself.I'm tired of switching it off cause it drains my airtime... any suggestions cause I've enabled firewall and all that..dunno if its an app or that's the way the phone isWhich firewall?, if there's any app that can modify your network or its settings, uninstall it but make sure you turn on your network and data service before uninstalling it cos failure to do that may force you to reset your phone.I once had an app that turns off my data service when I lock my phone or when it locks itself but I mistakenly uninstalled it one day and there was nothing I did that could make my data service come back on so I had to reinstall the app with another person's phone before I could turn my data service back on.Just make sure you follow instructions and you're good to go.M3 was definitely not designed to act in the way you've described. Its definitely one of your apps. |
james.ope04:Fear not.If your phone's still on warranty, they'll get it fixed for you free but if not, they'll charge you for a token.By token, I hope you know what I mean.Na naija we dey o but not to scare you, it'll most likely be free. When did you get the phone? |
Gabriel_sylar: Tell it to dem tecno freaks.....BB is technologyso data compression is super technology for you?.I wonder if you even know how to zip files. |
I'm pretty sure the news is and only restricted to a rumour.Even the official site of oau is down as at the time of posting this comment. Also, oau's eportal is not disclosing any news.Seriously doubt anything's going on. |

Alikaxon: If not that she has an attitude issue, she would have realised that she needs to rest before creating frivolous thread. (common sence is not common)So what she said is senseless, right?.Maybe being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and then dying at a young age would make sense to you. |
Undilutedfact: OP...nice 1....can the Graphics card be upgraded the way the RAM is done? No.Unlike the Ram,it can't be upgraded as it's integrated into the board being that it's a laptop but desktops have the space and slots for upgrading or exchanging the follow come graphics card |

Your bank account under is threat Cybercriminals create one of the most advanced computer viruses ever - and even software won't protect you Neverquest Trojan is a malicious program that can empty bank accounts Its makers claim it can attack ‘any bank in any country’ The Trojan has already targeted 28 sites including Fidelity Investments Neverquest can also use information in accounts to play the stock market It hides on malicious sites and infects computers to steal login details A team of Russian cybercriminals have created a computer virus so sophisticated it can steal the money from any bank account in any country. Called the Neverquest Trojan, it lies hidden on malicious websites or infected computers and can steal the usernames and passwords for people’s online banking accounts. Once it has access to these accounts it can empty them completely and is so advanced, security experts are warning that traditional antivirus software isn't enough to keep users protected. HOW DOES NEVERQUEST WORK? Neverquest sits on malicious websites and can infect computers when users click on links to these dangerous sites. Special scripts have been created for the Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers and these give the cybercriminals remote access to the user’s computer. Once a computer is infected, Neverquest can record the usernames and passwords to online bank accounts. This information is sent to hackers who can then use it to gain access to accounts. After gaining access to a user’s account, cybercriminals make transactions and transfer money from the user to their own accounts or - to keep the trail from leading directly to them - to the accounts of other victims. Kaspersky Lab said protection against threats such as Neverquest requires more than ‘just standard antivirus’ and advises customers to be extra vigilant to make sure they only access official sites and don’t store passwords in cookies, or on their computers. This is because the Trojan has been designed to contain ‘just about every possible trick’ known to hackers to avoid being caught and disabled. |

kayswag100: boss,I thought you said you're not airtel's rep on Nl.Why " That's all I am allowed to say".You're not as brilliant as you think. |
Bawss1: OP please can you explain the rationale behind this move by Airtel in more detail? The reason you provided didn't explain what the network loses in running the BIS package on non BB devices or what Airtel stands to gain when this move has been effected. They aren't losing.they aren't just extorting enough. Why?, these networks give so much bandwidth to bb devices cos they know bb users simply don't go near the limit of the bandwidth allocated to them. Why is it that no matter how much browsing, pinging and chatting you do on bb,mtn would still tell you * fair usage * after inquiring for your subscription usage. Why is it that they don't display your data usage on bb?,think of it.They want to keep ripping Nigerians.Haven't you heard that Nigerians pay the highest rates for anything that's got to do with networks be it call,SMS or data rates. But come to Android, users of android simply extinguish almost if not all the data allocated to them cause of wonderful apps and to top it,users of android can see their data usage thereby making sure to finish the data allocated to them. I'm sure that a year of pinging chatting and browsing on bb devices would just amount to about 1gb of data excluding downloading but come to Android, personally I usually use about 40 to 60 and on better days 70mb for browsing chatting and other app stuff's excluding downloading. So I hope you understand why they won't just allow their data go freely into android's hands. They're totally ripping bb users but haven't found a way of doing that to android users and I don't think they will *ever*.These network providers are simply extorting from Nigerians and they would go to any means to keep cash rolling in at the expense of the customers. |
Is there really a whatsapp or bbm group for tecno m3 and who's in charge.Add up guys na. |
eseosa77: With this I now know that android users are inate liars.if u hate bb y are u using BIS on android phones?,secondly If u don't miss blackberry y are u all ranting here to protest the stopage of BIS on andoid phones?.suffering and smillingThe last time I checked, bis was a *data plan* for blackberry *phones*.Android users use it cause of its data size and nothing more.Network providers could as well provide ais for android devices then we'll see if they'll still use bis besides,if they bis is only for BlackBerry phones, why are Android phones able to utilize it?.Next time,be logical in your arguements |
rman: Android is not a phone but OS.Ehn...Say that again.even BlackBerry's future z99 cannot stand besides s3,much more s4 not to talk of the Sony Ericsson xperia that's scratch, water and dust resistant and the almighty HTC one. |
Mattex001: I will miss the Cheap data plan! Andriod is So useless without a reasonable data plan..and BlackBerry's no much better than Nokia torchlight without bis |
Idi Amin: I can now authoritatively confirm that ASUU leader is high on marijuana. How on earth does he think that an ordinary selfish body like ASUU can stop a presidential directive. GEJ should sack that 1diot from his job, let me see how he will continue as ASUU chairman when he joins ladipo market traders association. Non senseYou have spoken and people have liked your comment.Feeling important, right?.But you're totally wrong. If Gej sacks him then he can sack your dad too as he would only be engaging dictatorial methods in our so claimed democratic system.Come to think of it, the ASUU members only seek the *implementation * of the 2009 agreement agreed and signed by the FG and which the FG has been cunningly avoiding to implement. So logically speaking, whose at fault?.You say ASUU's wicked and do not take into consideration the plight of the students but think of it,though the lecturers would benefit a little from the implementation of the agreement but we the students stand to gain the greater proportion of good from it.Imagine Nigerian universities ranked among the best of the best in the world because of increase in advancement both in infrastructure and technology, this is what ASUU is fighting for and I totally support this cause because the Nigerian educational system has been bastardized and is in total ruins.I implore you to give ASUU a benefit of doubt and see what they come up with. We all know that industrial action (strike) is the only language that the FG understands as observed in the case of the nlc strike.ASUU's only trying to get the FG to implement the agreement through their best possible means that's got legal and constitutional backing.ASUU does not trust the government and its promises as its been known to bailout on its promises. The shady actions of the FG has also given ASUU more reasons to doubt the authenticity of the FG's promised.Personally,I think that the FG's using delay tactics to cause enmity between ASUU and the general public with the aim of pushing the striking lecturers to work without adequate implementation of the already signed agreement. Please let's help the situation and join ASUU as one voice and support the cause that ASUU's fighting for.I know one thing for sure and its that if we don't help get the FG to implement the agreement now and the strike gets called off, there would be subsequent strikes in the nearest future because ASUU would continue to agitate for the implementation of the agreement and I'm sure the FG would keep posting them.Let's help get the FG to implement by joining ASUU but I can guarantee that if FG implements the agreement and ASUU then misuses funds, I'll turn against them violently and vehemently but until then I'll trust their decisions. Please, I'm not supporting ASUU because of personal sentiments but I'm only supporting what's right.I'm a student like most of you are, a 200level student of Philosophy at Oba Awon University (Obafemi Awolowo University) and my dad is an electrical engineer so I've got no personal ties to ASUU or its members if that's what some of you are thinking. |
simi_olu1: When a Public Office holder signs an official document, he/she does so in his/her official capacity.I concur to your position. many people just talk without thinking of the facts involved.Ignorance is the cause of this. |
