That was what I also thought but the assumption is wrong, at least for Custom Roms like EU rom and MASIK Roms running miui 10. I currently use Gcam on my redmi 5 plus with EU rom miui 10

since you already have twrp installed just download the global rom and flash from there.

Either you go the "developer Rom" way ot the "custom Rom" way. There are nice miui based custom Roms that you can use

Abeg, make una suggest better rom. I really love miuipro and its hard for me to let go but i need to experience joy somewhere else.

I have tried PE before but my first use was enjoyable..
RR too wasnt so nice.. kept on draining mh battery.

Why exactly will I do that? I actually wasn't complaining, the guy I quoted said he doesn't like the way the status bar on miui 10 displays and I was telling him/showing him that it's cool at my own end here

There nothing like that on my own status bar o. Using EU rom though. Even if there were 50 notifications from different apps, it won't show I the status bar unless I drag down the notification panel

Yes, it does as you can see in the attached picture.
The word suggestion is why I keep going back to it. I have been using it with my gmail account for about 3 years so it already knows my typing pattern and gives appropriate suggestions.

The best keyboard I have used is Swype, sadly the company now solely sell its services to OEMs and no longer offers free app on the playstore.

It's the best I've ever used and I'm still using
