This is like saying everyone should keep doing what they love doing the most to be successful. Sleeping and eating may be one or both of them.

Btw, the bolded tells of irresponsibility.
And if anybody wants to do that, what's the problem? How does it affect you? Many Nigerian men have limited intelligence. You guys want to tell every lady what they should do with their bodies? Live and let's live, please.

A woman owns her body and can do whatever she likes with it. Rule enforcing policemen like those above me and gawking men like the one also above me should drive that into their skulls.

The trailer is even more hilarious. But, this movie may just be good enough for the small-minded Nigerians who will see it.

The man is a lunatic. He did what he did because of the Russian pounding of his son's illicit oil dealings with ISIS in that part of Syria. The IS free oil movement to Turkey has come to a considerable halt since the Russian air campaign. You can now see why they are furious.
And you wonder why Erdogan keeps denying Turkey or some part of Turkey trades in oil with IS. Even that is public knowledge. Obama knows quite well.

I'm still trying to understand why Turkey didn't just escort the plane out of its territory and later issue a stern warning. Erdogan just loved to stir the hornet's nest.

It is disappointing the youths find the dark skin of OP the most important message that is worth pointing out instead of the underlying message of absolute failure of their leaders.

It is a shame.
It's called collective intelligence. Many more people are ignoring the other posts and are commenting on OP's complexion. I think this goes a long way to show that Nigerians are merely collectively superficial. As a group, we are also rather unintelligent. Even though as individuals some are brilliant, as a group we are rather dull.

The picture below appeared on a reddit page under the news about Shrekli, a CEO of a pharma company that increased a drug's retail value by more than 5000% in order to make profit. While it's apparent that Shrekli appears overly gangsterly in the picture, a huge percent of the comments on the forum had little to say about hos lifestyle than about the company's action itself to raise its drug price. I can only imagine how a NL audience would have handled similar news.

I know a girl in her late teens whose boyfriend'idea of punishment was anal sex for every time she disobeyed him. The girl did not like anal sex but loved the boy. It took her opening up to her aunty who is a friend of mine (said aunty is in her late twenties) for the girl to find the courage to end the relationship and threaten the boy with a police case. Someone will come and tell me it was not abuse becuase the girl was still dating the boy.
Thanks a million for this opinion. This story above sums it up brilliantly. Abuse and relationship are two different things.

The OP is an utterly clueless clown. To believe I once mistook him for an Intelligent fellow. Men like this are a clear and present danger to our women and make me ashamed of manhood.
I agree. One thing easily discernable about Nigeria is that, most of the corrupt, innovative sadists walking about the country are in reality supposedly intelligent men with university education or influential position. Were this op an influential Nigerian now, he'd still share these sick ideas leaving younger ones with a distorted reality of what a sane society should be.

The accuser LIED over EVERYTHINg! What is rape? Isn't rape supposed to be having forceful sex? Did her conversation sound like one to you? Or is it now rape for a 24yrs old man to have consensual sex with a 17years old girl? Helloo, the legal age for sex in Nigeria is 16... Go figure!
As intelligent as you make to sound, you have honestly no comprehension of what rape is. Clearly, you still have a lot of homework to do.
CrimeRe: Sugabelly Alleged Rape: A Pure Case Of Blackmail, Intimidation And Lies by MathsChic(f): 8:01am On Nov 28, 2015
flybiz08:
If Barcanista is reading this, you made logical arguments but not good enough to quash the rape allegation.

You succeeded in proving a relationship gone sour but the crux of the matter is rape which anyone is yet to prove.

Frankly speaking, after reading her tales, I can confidently put it as mere conjectures that won't stand before a competent court. We need more information like documented medical history after the incident, colleagues from her former workplace and close confidants who may have been aware of her ordeals.

Let me put it to you that if she can prove the motive behind her rape, Mustapha is finished and partly, you've done that. Jealousy is enough motive to gang rape especially when the same individuals she flirted with were involved.

Again, you failed to factor in her age. If she can prove these events occurred below 18 years, then whatever pleasure she felt would have been fantasy come true at that age. It's almost always the norm with wild teenagers.

She claimed she received a 'legal threat' from Mustapha way back. That is enough to indict Mustapha if she can provide proof. Why would anyone go that far? He was defensive and surely trying hard to conceal something.

The last straw to break the camel's back would be more indicting evidence especially messages and witnesses which I believe she should have shored up by now because people of that calibre when accused, fight dirty.

By and large, the whole story is still sketchy but tilting against Mustapha. No one is interested in the 'bleeps' or the relationship for that matter. What makes a case here is the rape allegation and her age. It doesn't matter if she slept with his friends at will while they were dating but taking turns on her without her consent and coating it with threats only brings one conclusion, he's guilty.
Very correct.

Emotional abuse is not a crime.

Emotional abuse is not rape.
Abuse is abuse. His series of emotional abuse did lead to physical situations. It's unacceptable to pass her around among his friends. Period.

I honestly don't think that there is any abuse from Mustapha, if you want proofs, I will paste it here. That girl is a pathological liar
Post your proofs if you have more. So far, you have only shown that she liked him and he took advantage of it to abuse her.

This is not even a question of the law or of civilized climes.

This person, is her head coconut?

Paraphrasing a popular idiom: "Rape me once, shame on you; rape me twice, shame on me."

And she wasn't 'raped' only twice.

She wasn't tied up or locked in a cage. She dey go house, use her own legs waka come back - and to different locations.
That's a difference between emotional and physical abuse. Clearly you don't understand the difference. While the latter sums up well what you have described, the former is more latent and can last for years, lurking the corners.

Aude:
Stop displaying your ignorance on the internet. Have you ever sat down with an abuse victim and listened to how abusers are able to manipulate their victims? Why would she be quiet? I have a feeling you are one of those teenage rapists that is why you want her to be silent.
Look at Bill Cosby, he raped women 30 years ago and now he is under scrutiny. What about Roman Polansky, he ran away from the US and he definitely would never return to that country. There are so many cases in the UK and they date back to the 70s and 80s
And you know, the Bill Cosby case rings a little similar. Many of those ladies probably wanted to have sex with him, but certainly not in the circumstance that followed where he often drugged them or abused them, never giving a chance to develop a real relationship.

Now these, I've more if you want
Need we go over this again? Clearly, she liked him. She wanted to love and was in awe of him. They had sex severally, probably instigated by her more times. But does that justify the abuse? Pushing her to his friends for sex? No! That's where it crossed into emotional torture and that's why he should serve jail time for it.

perhaps you are myopic I. thoughts.
Haven't you heard of cases of a well plotted frame ups

Perhaps if you are a discerning mind you wouldn't completely jettison my earlier stated possibilities.

However, I never said it's a ruse for sure.
Perhaps if you are a better discerning mind, you'd know that the poor girl had been writing about her abuse for years. How does that constitute a blackmail plot?

Glad to hear you don't consider it a ruse after all.

And when he asked her for 3some she said no initially but she later agreed, what on earth do you expect to follow that?
You still aren't getting it. Even if a girl agreed to a three3some, it's still no justification for the endless abuse he subjected her to by having her have sex with his friends. That's a no no. Sometimes, I wish these guys could try this is saner societies and see what will befall them.

Well, you will certainly have a very hard time convincing people if you claim to have been raped, repeatedly, by the same group, over a long period.

A period in which you returned to your rapists, of your own volition, countless times.
Maybe in Nigeria with depraved minds running around, yes. In more civilized climates, you shouldn't have a problem in court.

The truth is that she enjoyed it initially, but got hands burnt when she tried running away from her shadows.this thing happened recntly na,in fact i was her teacher at Loyola then, those kids drink and smoke heavily,we try to teach them moral but the system wont help matters, their parents too contributed a great deal to this mess.they were never available for the kids, so the kids grew into something else,we most times allow them go home and by the time they are coming back ,they com to school with pornographic materials!u bgin to wonder where is d place of parental nocturing o!na only teacher go do d magic abi?those kids are way too xpose than some of us the staff and the kind of curriculum prracticed there too......no be here o.lots of them sugar belly dey there till date(though i am no more with LOYOLA JESUIT)AND will keep craving for negative exposure in that sch if they aint monitored daily in our INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS.
For a teacher, you lack tact, sense and responsibility. It's no wonder many of your students are growing into something else, in your own words. If a teacher can't see the wrong on this, i seriously wonder where this country is headed.

Still doesn't address anything. It does confirm that she liked him and had sex repeatedly with him, at every convenience. But it doesn't justify the abuse he put her through. In a civilized country, he would be forced to prove his innocence and, given the revelations we have, may in fact go to jail for this.

Hmmmmmm

There is this psychological phenomenon called 'craving after your tormentor' found among some rape victims. Also, we have instances where victims fall in love with, and may want to protect, their raper. However, the emotional state post-rape doesn't reduce the enormity of the crime.
Tell them. They clearly don't get it. For Nigerians, if you don't scream rape and kick about the second you have been raped, then you obviously enjoyed it.

And this is supposed to hold substance? It still doesn't address the emotional trauma he put the poor girl through. There's no question she liked him, as we can imagine. At the same time, there's quite no question he abused her severely.
