JJJC: Yeah, same here, she obviously saw something in Mustapha that makes her stayed glued to him. I've seen many cases like this, especially when the parent of the guy is very important or the guy himself is a celebrity of sort and they ended up being financially compensated, though I believed she was raped but not the way she portrayed it. Please educate us about the special way one can portray rape. Please do. |

damton: Hmm.
This is serious. If this is true, she should have come out way before elections or a while after the election is concluded. Crying foul now discredits the whole story and makes her look like cheap attention seeker.
Anyway, it's not more than what some of these boys can do. We've had worse rape and molestation stories. It just highlights the decadence in our society and most importantly among our youths.
At a point you begin to wonder why these boys never thought of prostitue, if they really wants to have rough sex, when there are prostitutes out there that would gladly oblige to their cravings.
By the way, why wish death on the father for the sins of the sons in the first place.
i just hope this version is not cooked up just for political or character defamation. Why should crying foul now discredit the story? Doesn't make any sense. A mere modicum of common sense would tell you that the story is too detailed not to be true. Evidently, the nonchalance with which Nigerian guys treat rape has not left your reasoning. |

macaranta: This is bad ,we are gradually chopping off our future minds.BTW OP is this a government or privately owned school?
macaranta.com It's a government owned school. It's Eric Moore High School. I think senior high and junior high are camped in then same compound. |

phabulux: I've chosen to believe you had your education in 'America'. Some of us went to a school in worse state than what you have in your images. It didn't stop us from coming out top of our class in the university nor did it stop us from getting good employment.
Who knows? You may be trying to provoke a quick response from the government (and it's laudable); but, you sound so dam..n.e.d self-righteous.
That f.u..c..k..e..d up bonapart, does he not know that if he wants to ape any of the Bonapartes, then, the alphabet 'e' is called for?
Another Igbo with no dam...n..e..d sense.
Was it Buhari that built that school? Does that school look new to him? If this is self-righteousness to you, then I have no words. Thanks! |

All the time I was there, I couldn't help but imagine how the public would have reacted if this was in America. Plus, how does the country hope to produce imaginative students in this envrions?

Some days ago, I was at a secondary school in Surulere (across the bridge from the Island) in Lagos for a friend's event where he is educating secondary students about the perils of peer pressure. I honestly wasn't expecting what I saw as the state of this secondary school. It left me wondering if this was a school or a dump yard. Why in heaven's name are Nigerian leaders looking the other way while the young ones study in this sorry environment?
The attached pictures are what I saw. This is no secondary school. It's a hopeless shanty. I hope this gets to front page and attracts the necessary attention.

masperano: So I have a joke great mathematicians(told by my pde lecturer(he is Russian)).
A team of Engineers from England visited Germany and they saw a black goat. They came back and said "all goats are black in Germany"
Next a team of Physicist visited Germany and they saw a black goat. They came back and said "there is one black goat in Germany".
Finally a team of Mathematicians visited Germany and saw a black goat. They came back and said. "There exist at least one black goat in Germany which is black".
Moral of the story always check the rightness of your statement as a scientist.
Cheers my people Only a mathematician can tell such joke, cos it's all in favour of mathematicians. Funny, clever joke Today I was thinking something. The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter is a number that doesn't occur in nature any other way, besides as a ratio of circumference to diameter. Isn't that just spectacular? Or am I wrong? Does it have other occurences? |
