Do not be surprised that my position on this matter may differ from the majority of Christians, because i'm not someone that follows the crowd but Christ.

Although i pray for Israel everyday, [my prayer is not for the peace of Israel but for God's Will to be done in Israel.

That's how Jesus taught us to pray, according to the Will of God, and the Will of God may not always be for the peace of Israel.

Hence I pray that whatever the Will of God is, let it be done.

That's my prayer for Israel, Nigeria, and the whole world.

God is not willing that anyone perish but that all comes to repentance, so I also pray that Israel comes to true repentance and to the knowledge of Christ because upon such lies their peace, freedom and salvation.

However if they don't, there's no amount of prayer or support on Earth that could save them.

God Himself said:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

So God will not even hear the cries or prayers of Israel despite calling them His own people, if they don't repent and turn away from their wicked ways and to His righteous way, how much more those of others?

That's why it's best to pray according to the Will of God for Israel, so that one's prayer would not be in vain, because God Will may always be for the peace of Israel.

Even the biblical righteous men and prophets of old, such as, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, could not save Israel from impending destruction, after they had persistently transgressed God commandments and provoked Him to wrath countless time with their wickedness and rebellious ways, that their cup became full and God was finally fed up and determined to punish them.

God's people, Israel, were mercilessly driven out of their land by their enemies, that their land laid desolate for seventy years to observe her rest from their evil and abominable activities. 2 Chronicles 36:15-21, Ezekiel 15:7-8, Leviticus 26:32-36,

This was what God Himself brought upon His own people Israel in accordance with the words of His prophets, therefore God hasn't always been for the peace of Israel, and God had shown that if He's not with Israel but against them, it's dangerous for anyone to try to help or support them because it's tantamount to fighting against God. Isaiah 31:1-3

Hence i choose to stand with God instead so that whatever His plan is concerning Israel, I would be for it and not against it.
