Good morning, elders in the house please I need help.

I've been trying to register on bolt app as a driver. I don't have a car yet, but I've uploaded my drivers license and my details.

I was later sent a link to complete the driver training online which I did. Then another link was later sent to complete the final stage, however upon opening of the link, it wasn't going through.

I've sent series of emails to bolt but they're not saying anything.

Do I commence the registration afresh or what do I do, please I need your helpss

Please I need answers

Apology to @Kendrix because this is yet another question that has been answered uncountable times.

You have to submit your application before the IELTS expiry date.

Thanks chief for your reply, so you mean once I submit my profile before IELTS expiry date I'm safe right?

It happened that I started this job in Lagos about 5 months ago on the island. It's in the construction sector and I work 6 of 7 days a week, even the 7th day, you'll still have to do some works in preparation for Monday. This job now chokes me as I am now useless for myself, I get home around 11pm and I can't do any other thing for my myself. All I do is work, traffic and sleep. I am planning on resigning and stop going, unfortunately the contract of the work says I should inform them a month to when I want to leave. I don't want to use a month, kindly give me suggestions on how to go about it please, I don't want to die young.

So I decided I'd join this ride hailing hustle February this year after I lost my job and I couldn't get another. I sourced for funds to pay for drivers license so I could go on with other processes. I paid for the license march and then we started coronation in Nigeria. I learnt there's a driving school certificate that must be obtained and road safety claims the portal to verify the stuff has been closed since lockdown was issued. But lockdown has been eased and these guys now go to work, I wonder why the portal could not be activated, I mean these guys, government workers generally are so indolent and non challant when it comes to work. Person just dey waste for Here. How portal go still dey closed after una don start work. I think rapture should happen in Nigeria alone abeg

It is well... Just confused

Hey guys, been a long time here.
so somehow, I've smuggled myself into the pool with a point of 428. I've 2 years of work experience, I'd be 27 by July, 8 overall in ielts, and I've written exam that would be used as second certificate.

My question is, what is one's fate with all these pandemic effects? What happens after the pandemic when the FSW draw continues? Cos mhen, my hope is dimming already just that presence in Nigeria constantly reminds me there's no other way. I'm open to PNP suggestions pls apart from Manitoba and I don't have anyone in Saskachewan o.
Thanks

NNPC Palmgrove is one of the worst places to buy fuel on earth.

Better for you to push your car all the way to Maryland and buy at Oando than buy fuel there.

That place is a den of thieves.

Left for me, the manager of that fuel station should be hung upside down on sharp barricades and an iron dipped in poison be shoved up his rectum.

The best places to buy fuel in Lagos are

Enyo all on Lekki Epe Expressway

Petrocam Ikotun

Petrocam all on Lekki Epe Expressway

Northwest on Lekki Epe Expressway

Any other place you buy fuel, OYO is your name.

Lol... Without seeing your moniker, just seeing the first 2 sentences of your post would make me know it's angry igboman

Education / Re: Lagos Pegs Entry Age Into JSS1 At 12 Years by Matrix414: 8:41pm On Apr 07, 2020
sowilli:
this companies have set very bad standards but even with this law, many should complete their education and NYSC before 25. Whilst maturity is not a functional of age, some times the older the better because the older seems to have more life experience. Life experiences develops one’s emotional intelligence which is lacking in many work places. Don’t you hear this silly talk - my education is fast? Is education supposed to be measured by speed or quality? We all want it fast in this country. There is a process for everything. We don’t have to compare with the whites, they have a better IQ

So what becomes of a child that fails jamb 3 to 5 times and ASUU successfully wastes 3 to 4 years, thereby making the child to graduate late, you'll now start seeing job vacancies that not older than 26 years. 12 is on a high side. 10 or 11 years is ok

Sorry for the late response I'd to work. I aaw ur mail, let drop what I've here why others add to it.

Ok, first tin first, get a DL and make sure you work well of your driving skills to suit Lagos.

I wouldnt known if you would be gettinf your own car for the hustle or already has one, id you're getting one make sure the engine cap is not more than 2.0ltr.
DON'T EVER CONSIDER A LOAN NO MATTER HOW LITTLE THE INTEREST MAY LOOK FOR EHAILING instead get a rental while you save to add up to what you have or get one for yourself. Even if you've all the money get a rental to test the waters so you must gathered aome experience and confident going forward.

You can get an acxount with uber even without having a car I really don't know about that with bolt, so with that you can easily get a rental once you've an account because no car owner wants to rent h/h car out to sb for the purpose of ehailing when d person don't have the tools for the operations.

Get a smart phone e.g nokia, any iPhone from 6s+ upwards, Samsung or any other single SIM phones uber n bolt accept, I use LG v20 it works perfectly for me, got it just 28k or there about. Go to your play store DL the uber and taxufy driver's app, do your sign up then proceed to their various offices for your training and signing up proper.

DL google map and learn to understand how it works. You dont need to know anywhere in any develop city with good telecoms network around the world to drive, courtesy to google map. Its one of the tools you will be needing for the job.
By thw time you've driven like 3-6months you must have known areas you would want to go.

What more can I say, let me stop here. You can ask if you are not clr.

Goodluck!

Thank you for your response.

About the phone stuff, I'm using an infinix, hot 8, will I need to get another or I can use it?

Good morning guys. I trust we're all doing great. Please I'm new here and I'm interested in starting the e-hailing biz. I've never driven a car in Lagos but I move vehicles around in my locality. I am out of job presently and I believe this is an opportunity to sustain myself with the help and advice of mentors in the house.
Please where do I start the journey, do I need to attend a driving school?
How do I get conversant with Lagos routes?
Thank you in advance for your advice.

Please I need your responses oo

Start by answering questions on LatinHire. Someone posted a comprehensive report on it here. You can search Nairaland. Don't ask me questions about it. because I am not doing it. I introduced my friends to it and they are doing it. You could make 20-50k per month depending on how much questions you can answer. It could sustain you for now.

I've registered, but I was not invited to take the test
Jobs/Vacancies / Please I Need Urgent Advice by Matrix414: 10:21am On Feb 26, 2020
Good morning nairalanders. I am at a point of extreme confusion right now and I need advice.
I had my national youth service in the north and I was retained by my PPA after my service year, though everything wasn't worth it in terms of remuneration and environment as I am from the southwestern past of the country, but considering the nature of Nigeria I had to just manage till something better comes up. So I made up my mind that I'll leave the firm and relocate to Lagos this year, and I planned to be strategic about, by saving enough money to at least sustain me a while. Unexpectedly I started getting job invitations in Lagos from January, and I had to just try my luck by attending all the interviews because I was extremely tired of the north. I've attended 4 interviews and I've been shuttling between Kastina and Lagos. To cut the long story short, in the process of trying to get another job, I lost the job I had at Kastina. I have been in Lagos and I have not gotten any positive feedback from the interviews I attended. Most painful thing is I have exhausted my savings on the interview journeys. And I am stuck. Guys, this is like square one for me, please I need advice. How do we survive on this street cos nothing is making sense at the moment.
