Let me elucidate from my little experience.

● Can anyone in USA use $1 for breakfast? No. But in Nigeria #500 will feed you for breakfast and probably lunch, as well.
● Majority of people's monthly house rent (self contained apartment) in the USA is $1,000 and above, and that is your own 2 year's rent.
● What is the total official monthly deductions from wages? definitely under 10%. Here in USA, it is an average of 26% unquestionable.
● Have you ever paid for insurance before? no, insurance in US is $280 monthly, and that is almost #100,000.

● When last did you pay monthly phone bills? I pay equivalent of almost #40,000 monthly and if I don't, they are going to block my SIM. Your own MTN can be there for months without recharge.

● When last did you work on Saturday and Sunday? This I do compulsorily and on regular basis.

*******Don't get me wrong, USA is better than Nigeria, depending on which angle you are viewing it. ********

■Do you want to hear the truth?

$ Many people in Nigeria live a more fulfilling life compared to their counterparts abroad.

With 8hrs job abroad, you can only pay bills, you will need another 6 to 8 hours to save for the future and plan your life.

■ The truth is that the grass is green everywhere, it is lack of vision by our politicians and the skewed religious practices (which placed emphasis on miracles) that ascended Nigeria onto a myopic tentacle of complete inertia.

this country is too hard. yet it can be so easy to be very comfortable in this country. you can rent aplace for 200,000 per annum. and just live a simple life and enjoy simple things like good food. what kills man is the aspiration to SHINE. therein lies all the sorrows and heartaches. if you can just be satisfied with simple life ? nigeria is the best place in the world to be. and the easiest place to live in

The Curse of Agaba Idu MUST be cleansed.

In April 1963, Emir Mohammed Sanusi of Kano plotted the dethronement of then Atta of Igala Ameh Oboni. The Atta’s offense was his refusal to bow before the Sultan of Sokoto, Chairman of Northern Nigeria Council of Chiefs during the Council’s meeting in Kaduna, capital of Northern Nigeria. Ameh Oboni was given the option to remove his crown and bow or be removed from office. But the Atta was a god and could not bow to any human being.
Ameh Oboni knew that by the Igala tradition, the implication of his dethronement of was that none of his progenitors would ever be allowed to be crowned Atta after him. So he accepted to remove his crown and bow.
But the moment he removed his crown, a swam of bees rushed out of the crown and chased the chiefs out of their chamber. That ended the plot for that day. Oboni then walk up to Emir Sanusi and told him that for attempting to remove him from office, he Sanusi would lose his throne before he travels from Kaduna to Kano and that any of his progenitors that ever holds the throne would be removed from office.
That evening, as Mohammed Sanusi was chauffeured from Kaduna to his palace in Kano, he heard on the car radio of his own dethronement by the Government of Northen Nigeria.
