ginababy: Kpele, for that vomiting, have you tried feeding in shorter bursts, e.g when eating 60 ml, stop at 30ml, burp, at 50ml burp, finish the food burp again.or while breastfeeding, Stop every 5mins & burp. Its tasking but it may help. Also try feeding him upright (hold him in a sitting position as against lying flat on your arms ), that's what my sister who experienced d same thing did. HTH |

ginababy:Alright, let him take sma for at least a week b4 you look for improvement. My last baby does a lot of spitups (vomit is light & milky, spitups are more like yoghurt& curds). Sometimes more than half of what she just ate. Yet, she was twice her birth weight as at 14wks immunization. I'm just saying, be patient, babies don't become orobos in a week! ginababy: I had to come out of ghost mode to ask: What exactly are you looking for in a formular? You cannot tell if a particular brand has achieved the desired result in less than 3 days. Discuss with your hubby then come to table your requirements, Mamas should be able to suggest a formula that meets his needs, Your baby's needs, not your hubby 4 Likes |

rezzy:Ginababy, rezzy & ahnie and other mamas & mamas-to-be, apart from your usual bath in the mornings & evenings, there is no need to wash your breasts before breastfeeding your baby. Infact, unless you have a thrush (yeast) infection, Drs encourage breastfeeding & skin to skin contact because the natural bacteria on your body and boobs help your baby develop his/her own antibodies/immune system. Do not use wipes! They are treated with chemicals which is worse off for your baby than your sweat. 17 Likes |

^^^ everyone was probably waiting for the medical experts to answer you. Remember there are a lot of FTM ums on this forum who cannot answer your questions never having experienced such. I had to ask my in-house Dr your question and he said not hing to worry about. Elective CS is different from emergency CS. Lots of mums bounce back from CS within a few hrs. Even going thru this thread, you will find a lot of mothers who had CS - both elective and emergency and they are here, gisting with us within a few days. Remember the most important thing: baby alive, mum alive, daddy alive, plenty of money!! Upeople just ignore me. 6 Likes |

everfaithfulGod: Please stop giving piccan. Teething doesn't need drugs. Besides, the teeth may not come out for another 4 months. You can't keep drugging him for that long. My kids start drooling and scratching by 3 months but the teeth comes as from 9 months. Get teething toys for him - colourful water or gel filled toys shaped like hand or fruits. Refrigerate and giv to him when it's cool, the cold will soothe his gums and d roughness will help him with the scratching. 8 Likes |

imnuflawal:Why feed a 9month old with complan She should still be on infant formula. That's probably the major cause of her stooling ish. Read the nutritional info and compare it to that of infant milk & even ordinary whole milk. My 3 year old started taking complan when she was ill & I noticed it has changed the composition of her poo, so I stopped it. Pls mothers, complan is not for toddlers or infants!!! It's boldly written on the can!!! 2 Likes |

My 10 months old hates formula. But we made do with breastfeeding for hours morning & evening. But now she is teething & has gone off breastmilk completely for about a week know, forcing me to wean myself. Can i introduce plain milk? I mean Nido, peak 123 is too sugary for our taste. She already eats custard with plain Nido whenever big sis is eating. (She eats solids & cerelac well.) |

@proudmum, for the immunization, you got only penta & opv. Rota & pneumococal are not free in Edo. Check your baby's card. (Used same hospital b4). As for the change in eating habits, my kids always go off food after immunization. Try feeding when he is sleepy, that way, reflex action kicks in & he may suck for longer, still continue with the spoon feeding sha. This shouldn't last more than a week/10 days tops. |

Please, who has used this cereal (NUTRILAC). I want to verify the availability before commiting to it (as a replacement for cerelac). Found it in a supermarket in Warri. About half the price of cerelac.

She kept to the rules: busy vs plain keeping her hair & makeup simple brought out the bold statement her clothes make. Remember she is a teenager. She is allowed to mix and match bold statements. We don old so we would have preferred pastel colours 1 Like |

The bust area is illfitting. If the breastubewas pulled up a little more, & a better silluette (maybe peplum) was sewn for the waist/hip, the dress would have been a knockout. |

This is British (I think) singer Rita Ora. Hair & makeup are okay, the boots go with the hem of the skirt, and nicely put together. However, the unbuttoned shirt is a No-no for me. 4/10 A fitted, properly buttoned shirt would have taken this from trashy to Classy. If she still wanted to show off her boobs (I dunno why they feel they must) , the KimK method of sheer tops would have 10/10 nailed the look.
