If you understand the meaning of Jesus the savior of the lost sheep of Israel and by extension the world then it shouldn't be hard for you to believe as a Muslim. Be sincere and ask yourself, if personication is well used by Jesus and other apostles in the case of wisdom, undeserved kindness, sin and death, isn't it obvious that that same applied in the case of Holy Spirit?

From Genesis 1:2 to 25, God said "let there" be light, etc. But in verse 26, he said "let us" make man in our own image.

Do you know the second person when he said "us" ?

Let there be light is a command. And holy spirit is that force that made it happen. Just like a voice command on a smart TV. Just say it and it will happen as you have said. If man can invent voice command, don't you thing God can do more?

"Let us make man in our image" God was talking to the Word (Jesus) and his angels. They are all in the image and likeness of God. They are referred to as "Sons of God" every other things were made by command which God's active force made happen. But as for man, God didn't say let there be man. He actually molded man by himself and gave it a breath of life and he became a living soul.

This is what hurts. I just showed you what the Bible says and you're disregarding it just because it doesn't support your argument. This is the word of God. It is the truth. It is light.
You've been taught this for a very long time by someone you respected so much, a man who is not perfect and who might really not understand the truth. So I don't expect you to accept this new position. Holy Spirit is not a separate person.
God is a spirit and he is holy. Same as Jesus and all the angels. There's no place in the Bible where Holy Spirit acted on its own. Holy Spirit is an active force of God. It is used by God, Jesus and even you.

Keep an open mind my brother. There's a whole lot you can learn.

First of all, I really do appreciate the fact that you know where to find these things in the Bible and it's the best way to start understanding the scriptures.

Now, I'm sure you know and understand what personification is.
If a pronoun is ascribed to the Holy Spirit, thereby making it a person, then I want us to examine other parts of the Bible where other things are personified.

Personification does not prove personality.
It is true that Jesus spoke of the holy spirit as a “helper” and spoke of such helper as ‘teaching,’ ‘bearing witness,’ ‘giving evidence,’ ‘guiding,’ ‘speaking,’ ‘hearing,’ and ‘receiving.’

In so doing, the original Greek shows Jesus at times applying the masculine personal pronoun to that “helper”.

However, it is not unusual in the Scriptures for something that is not actually a person to be personalized or personified.
Wisdom is personified in the book of Proverbs (1:20-33; 8:1-36). Will you now refer to wisdom as a person because it's been personified? Can wisdom actually speak literally? Can it raise its voice?

I have plenty other instances where things are personified. But it doesn't mean they are a person.
