Compared to Akwa Ibom,Oyo's Revenue from FG is smaller, but yet they have more Industries situated in their state than AKS,as well as mass structural elevation projects all over the state...Leave AKS for people like us that have visited the state, the state is dead, their villages are polluted with crude oil spillage and batcher's called houses, their Cities are known for their mediocrity structure, their people are very poor that they migrate massively from their state to Lagos,Rivers,Abuja and Onitsha where they sell gala, fufu or mamput and yet some of them come here to chestbeat.
Obviously Empty barrel makes the loudest noise!!!!
U feel u are the only one in this forum that have travelled to several states in the country? Tell me abt the mass structural elevation projects in Oyo.
Also which state are u from?

I don't know why the media overhypes Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi, there is nothing going on in Akwa Ibom,it is just a dead state,if you remove Uyo and Ikot Ekpene from the state,no part of the state would be relevant, same with Ebonyi that has only Abakiliki as a developed town to their name, you guys should continue making noise while states like Rivers,Lagos,Imo,Ogun,Anambra,Kaduna and Oyo are turning their states into world-class cities.
The media do not have bias mentality like u and ur likes and as such they tell it as they see it. I have visited all those states u mentioned except Ogun so tell me in what way are they on the verge of turning world class?

You this outcast Obolo slaveboy . What do you know? you should not be talking about Efik/ibibio matters. focus on ass kissing Udom propaganda while your Ibeno/Obolo rots with erosion , oil spills, illiteracy, poverty and general backwardness cool
As I saw Akwa Ibom @33 thread, I knew this cross river man will come here to display his usual hatred hahahhahaha. Man u cannot compare your state to Akwa Ibom in any aspect. They are better than u in all of it. I did my Nysc in cross river and I have been to and know very well almost all the local government areas in ur cross river state. Honestly u guys cannot be compared to Akwa Ibomites so stop the hatred and develop yourselves as well as ur community. How many reasonable functioning companies are there?
I dont even want to mention the level of poverty, illiteracy, waywardness, and baby mama over there.

I was so surprised to know Akwa Ibom govern them.. Like the military governors were all from Akwa-Ibom and all this major infrastructures like U. J. Esuene stadium and thier Airport etc.. Was built and own by Akwa Ibomites grin
That is one of the major reasons for the hatred bro. Akwa Ibomites seems to be better than them in every aspect.

I'm Efik ,You are not ,so shut it .We don't give a damn about your brotherhood because our eyes are opened and you have shown your true wicked colors. Calabar edi ediyie obio Canaan. we know you envy Efik . When you make silly comments and are called out you cry wolf. did you call out the bigot ilaumoh always wishing bad on Calabar ? show me which of my statements is false . You can keep the oil wells , Efik and Calabar will keep soaring high despite your secret envy and sabotage .
Why are u so bitter and jealous abt those guys from Akwa Ibom. I know that Akwa Ibom was created from Cross River and they are supposed to be like brothers but all I see from u is hatred and jealousy. Is it because they are richer with crude oil? Is it because they have gone far more in development than ur place?
Is it because they seem to gain so much attention and popularity than u nowadays?
U should channel ur anger into more development of ur place. I am from south south and we should all love ourselves instead of hate. If one state is more developed, praise them and try to make ur place better through ur contributions instead of trying to condemn them. There are alot of people here who are not from Akwa Ibom and have visited there as well. So we know the things that are true and the things that are lies. Thanks
Respect.

Atouke:
You are such a hateful monger, what you don't know and will keep Eluding you is that the Okopusem people (if you know what that means) of both Cross River And Akwa Ibom are brothers from the same parents. hence its very easy for an okpusem person to live and thrive in either state, the culture, lifestyle, food, etc are very similar, some of you think that Efik people only exist in calabar, News flash- there are efiks in Uruan LGA in Akwa ibom, which is actually believed to be the ancestral Efik Homeland, there are Efiks In Itu LGA of Akwa ibom and also Efiks in Mbo LGA of Akwa Ibom ETC. This efiks are indigenous to this areas, Just like there are ibibios and Oron people who are indigenous to Cross river state south. Calabar South LGA has lots of Ibibios who are indigenous to that area.
There are very few Okopusem people in cross river state who don't have families and relations spanning both state and vice versa. The Southern Cross River people have more in common with the people of Akwa Ibom State than they have with the people of Northern and central cross river state of whom they share the state.

Stop the hate and learn your history if you are an Okopusem person, if you are Efik you very likely have an Ibibio blood running in your veins as we speak. but i think you are a northern cross riverian with hate in your heart towards Akwa ibom like your gov. who is hating on Hon. Justice Akon Ikpeme.
but whatever your hate , Akwa Ibom keeps Soaring, your hate cant stop us!
These people just hate Akwa Ibom people for no useful reason. If u ask them why, they cant tell u. One good friend I know even mocked name in a song named "I can never marry from Akwa Ibom".
Just like the guy

I think u are the bitter one. I have been reading ur comment and it is very obvious u are very jealous and bitter abt the great people of that state. I have stayed at Uyo and Eket before, while I have also visited Ikot Ekpene, Ibeno and oron several times. And I can boldly tell u that the people are one most hospitable in Nigeria. I do not know ur tribe but u seem like an insecure person who feels he is better than others even when it is so glaring that they are better than u. I am from one of the states in the south south and the development here is far better than that of my state.
Nairaland GeneralNDDC Forensic Auditors Move To States by maxlev1(op): 7:51am On Aug 31, 2020
According to The Nation;

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) forensic auditors will any time from today move to the nine Delta states for field assessment of the intervention agency’s projects.
The first leg of the forensic audit, said the NDDC Interim Management Committee, has already been completed by the Lead auditor, Enst and Young.
The Executive Director in charge of Projects at the NDDC, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, who made this known to The Nation, disclosed that the files of all NDDC contracts from inception till date had been handed over to the field auditors to move to the states for the second stage of the audit.
Ojougboh also defended the over N1.32 billion spent by the commission as palliative funds for the IMC and staff members of the agency. He wondered why federal lawmakers were raising eyebrow over the funds when they also got millions each as palliative allowance from the National Assembly.
He accused the lawmakers of being scared of the forensic audit and described the non-passage of the NDDC 2020 budget by them as an act of blackmail.
The Executive Director said: “It (forensic audit) has started. The National Assembly wanted to truncate it. They said they will not pass our budget. You know the forensic audit is in two stages. We have procured the lead auditors and they are at work, they have all the files of all the contracts at the NDDC from inception till date.
“The second stage is to send the various auditors to each of the states and the National Assembly people know that’s where they are culpable so they stopped our budget, but the President (Muhammadu Buhari) said the forensic audit must continue. And that is why he is funding it directly from the Presidency.
“The lead auditors have finished their initial job, they have written their report. Now each of the states will have one auditor looking at all the contracts and projects in it. These auditors will now go to the states.”
Nothing that the National Assembly was bent on stalling the forensic audit, Ojougboh said the recent expose of some of its members believed to be culpable in the contract scam at the NDDC was nothing compared to the number of names and personalities yet to be named.
The executive director added that by the time the list of beneficiaries of NDDC contracts for 2017 and 2019 is released, Nigerians would shudder
He vowed that the NDDC would, under the current IMC, accomplish its mission of developing the oil-rich Niger Delta not minding whose ox is gored.
He said: The forensic audit that the President has instituted that scares some of the National Assemby members. They are culpable. At the end of the forensic audit, you will see some members of the National Assembly.
“A Senator came and said that in the list of 2016 they brought, that he had only six contracts, I said no, that he had more. What he didn’t know is that we did not release the list for 2017 and the one for 2019. If we release it, this country will break because of the people looting the NDDC; I mean they are people of high caliber.
“You may ask ‘who engineers it (the probe)? They are the chairmen of the NDDC in the Senate and House of Representatives.
“The National Assembly, through the instrumentality of the chairmen of the House and Senate, sabotaged our budget. If you give them report, they will say you did not bring performance report, but we brought everything that they asked us to bring. They used the budget as an instrument of blackmail.
“They have blackmailed the nation and the Niger Delta people in the last 20 years. That is why you see that you cannot go to the Niger Delta today and see 10 kilometers of dualised road done by the NDDC. What you see are 500 metres and 200 meters of roads done here and there that cost one billion each.”
On the query raised by the House of Representatives Committee over the monies spent by the IMC as palliatives to the IMC and NDDC staffers, the executive director said there was not wrong with it.
His words: “They are talking about COVID-19 payments. The Federal Government is giving every citizen N30,000. Do you know how much Federal Government has spent? The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and many other corporations have been giving COVID-19 allowances, which are within their purview just like NDDC did.

This is wickedness.

Once dated a girl...she bought something for me and I rejected it because I hate receiving anything free from women except the pussy. She insisted that I keep it. Some months later, we broke up and she requested for her gift back. I sent it.

I blamed myself for letting my guard down and because I hated receiving free stuffs especially from a lady.
Why would u send back a gift. Even if u did not use the gift, pls dash it out to someone else. A gift is a gift and must not be returned. If u gave her a gift, do u think she would return it? It even sounds very low for someone to tell u to return her gift.
RomanceRe: Women Are Very Calculative, Don't Accept Financial Assistance From Them by maxlev1: 8:19am On Aug 13, 2020
If a lady give me money in the name of gift and tomorrow she tells me to return it, I wont return it. A gift is a gift and not borrowed money so why should I return it. U guys make some of these ladies feel its their right to be selfish while benefitting from men. If u gave a lady money out of help, would u tell her to return it? Even if a man tells her to return it, will she do so? Wont she call all her friends to insult the man? Omo men dey Bleep up wella and its making these ladies manipulate them as they want. If u arent ready to give, pls dont give instead of embarrasing yourself by asking back for a gift. It looks and sounds stupid. If any lady tells u to return her gift pls dont because its not in her own right to do so.

AgricultureBuy Quality Crayfish, Palm Oil And Coconut At Affordable Rates. by maxlev1(op):
Hello guys! I sell Crayfish, Palm Oil and Coconut etc in both small and large quantity to most parts of the country.
For Crayfish; It comes in bags of different sizes but the measuring tool used in the market is Custard containers. That is the best way to calculate so that you wont be cheated by any seller.

For Palm Oil; I sell in 25litres containers.
Note: It is expensive during rainy season because the palm fruits hardly get ripe, while it is less expensive or cheaper during the dry season.

For Coconut; The price is more stable with this product because weather conditions hardly affects it.

Anybody can quote me here for an open discussion so others can learn, while we do business together.
Looking forward to your patronage. Thanks

This guy is the most decorated Nigerian player after Kanu and some Nigerians are here hating on him. During his time at Chelsea Fc he was a selfless player sacrificing for the success of the team. He has won several trophies over time and is one of the longest serving players in Chelsea Fc. He went to China did well, came back to Europe and almost took Middleborough to play off in the championship. Went to Trabzonspor and was a key contributor helping them to achieve champions league qualification. Mikel is a star and still have alot to offer in top football. let people keep hating their own. Nigeria once had the first African man to win heavyweight World boxing organization title by name Samuel Peter but instead of supporting the guy some Nigerians showed him hatred. In this country people seem never to appreciate their own.

The truth is this, most guy especially Igbo men starts feeling inferior when when their women don't ask for anything from them, infact they term it that you ain't gonna be a submissive wife simply because you ain't the beggy beggy type being that it is now a norm for a guy to give his woman money while the lady offers sex in return, thereby making anything outside this kinda arrangement a taboo.Yea a man should always be allowed to be a man as African setting made it to be, but that should be more in the marriage setting not a boyfriend and girlfriend matter, where a lot of people now see as poverty alleviation thing.so I think that your EX falls in these category of women who are independent and loves helping the needy and her kind still dey but they'll always want a guy who is confident and hardworking so as to match her dreams too.
Wow wow wow! Am so soooo impressed by ur comment. Are u really a lady. Pls I did love to meet u. I rarely see highly reasonable comments on similar topics from most ladies here in Nairaland.

I am a major dealer in palm oil product here in Akwa Ibom as well. Palm oil currently sells btw #6500-#7000. It doesn't go higher than that. For supplies to other States its expensive due to transportation and stress so #1500-#2000 is usually added to the original price to be delivered to a very far distance.

Please how much do u sell for 25L, 20L and 10L of both fist grade and second grade oil
First of all it will be abit difficult to trade on palm oil this period due to the lockdown within the state as well as interstates lockdown going on right now.
That's not withstanding I will still give you my current prices but pls note that prices fluctuate on daily basis.
Don't be surprise that the rate u heard yesterday might have a significant change in the next 3 days.
Also I don't sell second grade palm oil at all. I always do my possible best to maintain my standard at all times. If u want second grade palm oil then I can source it for u specially. Now these are my current prices but it will soon skyrocket because we are approaching the rainy season.
25L - #6700
20L - #5400
10L - #2800
Mind u this prices do not involve delivery.
