As a soldier you are not suppose to be asked before showing prove of being a soldier after that insist on not going anywhere no matter what until the MP's comes since the barrack is close by if not the police can arrest you then call on the MP's to come do the needful.

As a soldier he has the right not to be locked up in any civilian cell but in the military cell

As a soldier you are saying the right thing only if the soldier who committed the offense is on uniform or has with him an ID proving his a soldier that's where he can stand his ground.
