Business / Re: Summary Of CBN Revised Bank Charges by may320: 8:10am On Dec 23, 2019
Xano:
Interesting As regards ATM Withdrawal, it's 65 naira for the first three in a month, then 35 naira from the fourth withdrawal.
It makes no sense.
Pls read slowly to understand or ask someone to break it down for you.
It was 65k before, now 35k. First 3 withdrawal in a month is free if using your card on another bank's ATM, thereafter you'll be charged.
This is how hate speech used to start.

Family / Re: My Wicked Wife Didn't Buy Christmas Clothes For Our House Help by may320: 9:19pm On Dec 20, 2019
Though I've not read all the comments, but I wonder why someone is not looking at this story from the point of view of the wife. What if she's already suspecting the Op or she has caught him in 'unholy' look of the girl.
Some Men are fast becoming something else nowadays. Did we expect the op to agreeing to the allegation or to mention that he did it in the first place?
Anyway, @Op when your wife refused to buy the cloth, you should have carried your face if this was her first time of doing it and use wisdom to ask her the reason for her action.
You actually put yourself in suspicious arena with that act alone. You didn't handle the situation well at all.
Health / Re: I Am Dying Of A Chronic Pile by may320: 3:34pm On Dec 19, 2019
Validcode:
Go to people selling herbs (elewe omo) or someone that goes to the village, tell them you want "ejirin" it's a crawling plant that has a variegated colour. You'll wash it like bitter leaves and drink it twice daily. In a week, it should be gone. My older sister had pile and this is what cured her.
For follow up, dry the leaves and be drinking the tea 2-3 times a week.
Whatever you do, do not agree to cutting it.
If you cut it, maintaining an erection will be a challenge.
The leaf work wonders for pile, but I don't know about chronic pile, if it can cure it.

Somehow true. You see jallopies mostly in those states.
Also majority of those residing in other states still register Lagos or Abuja plate numbers.

Thank you for your input. I worked in an untreated swim pool for three weeks before it was finally treated.
It was some weeks after I started noticing this..
That's where you got the infection from. Don't only stay away for now, stay away permanently to avoid reoccurrence after you must have been healed of this one.
Act fast and treat yourself cos it seems it's getting to advanced stage. Not looking good now.
Some govt hospitals are good at treating this kind of infection. Lagos govt hospital at Onikan or something can treat it if you're looking at cost. You'll be treated and they'll flush your system.
Wish you quick recovery.

6 months probation is slavery...
Op shouldn't have been in a hurry to make demands. Fine she made the mistake..
But her employer too is a SCAM.
Are you a foreigner? Don't you know
Nigerian employers like cheap labours and can come up with anything to achieve that. Except the expatriate, mostly British or American COYS in Nigeria, almost 95% of local/Chinese/Indian COYS are like that, except government establishment anyway.

The op messed up, no two way to that. She could have endured. There are lots of extra additional works theyll expect you to do that are not written in your job description. May God help us.

Nobody is talking about one year probation.
Your employer is slaving you.
My dear, it doesn't always follow like that o. Some people's probation can be up to a year too, you'll be observed for the first 6mths, if your work is satisfactory, they'll permanent it or extend the probation for a year if unsatisfactory.
The best bet is to put in your best and show commitment and passion for your job.
@Op messed up by not convincing the employer on why her salary should be raised through her diligence. She passed on a very wrong signal already, that she's not passionate about her job but after reward, it means she may lose that job anytime from now cos it's Blvd she can defraud steal or break her oath of confidentiality if at all she find an accomplice or partner in crime.
No employer will retain such fellow.

This is not depression. This lady is extremely violent, paranoid and lacks empathy. She’s not depressed. She has other serious mental health problems that OP cannot manage without psychiatric help.
Exactly! @Op your wife has mental issues, get psychiatry help for her, she will pounce on you one day, I hope your life wouldn't be on the lifeline by then. Just know that neither you nor the kids are safe

But I blame this op, you encouraged this behaviour from the beginning and worsen it, if not for the innocent kids, I would have said, lie on the bed you made for yourself. The signs were there from beginning but you neglected them, she was Maltreating other kids you said nothing, you forgot that your own time will come. You deserve to taste the poison you prepared. undecided

Local rice have been upgraded. Lots of Nigeria rice without stone now, some even looks like foreign ones, you just wash it normally and cook. Go to market you'll be surprised, only that we still need them cheaper.

Well, I know that to keep vigil is to keep watch or to be vigilant.
Does that mean you can't keep vigil in the daytime?
Vigil is at night only.
See the dictionary meaning: A period of keeping awake during the time usually spent asleep. Usually to keep watch or pray.
