What is wrong with your old dash board. If you are buying another one its either it comes with airbag or not depending on what you want. But this also determines the price. That dash board should not be anything lesser than 50k

Before you start adopting the same trial by error used by road side mechanics just go scan that ride first and come back here to post fault codes. From the description of your story am looking at your quack mechanic destroyed your turbine speed sensor and its connector. And if you feel you are too big to run a scan go get another complete transmission. Some car owners still believe in trial by error though grin

Are you sure you are using the right type of oil? Go to your engine. Check what you have on the oil filler cap. You should have a 5w20 or 0w20 which ever it is go with the specification

Car Talk › Re: Toyota Corolla Issue-guys I Need Help by mayor2013: 5:02am On Oct 07, 2014
So the person who scanned the car for you couldn't explain the meaning of this fault code to you. Anyways this fault relates to a transmission fault code. The swtich is located on the body of the transmission its either its unconnected or the swtich itself is bad or dirty. But this can't make your car stall while driving. What the swtich does is to send a signal to your TCM or ECM when engaging your transmission. If that was the only fault code that was seen. A more profesional scanning needs to be done.as for me I would have done a data stream which would reveal more issues about the car. Now the first thing that should be looked at here to fix your problem here a tune up is needed which involves changing of your spark plugs, checking of your fuel pump pressure, servicing of your inlet manifold, servicing of your injector noozles and your fuel rails.

Car Talk › Re: Nissan Xterra 2004. by mayor2013: 8:16pm On Oct 05, 2014
Go with it if you love the suv but mind you follow proper maintenance culture. When you buy the ride first don't allow the road side mechanics start by removing your thermostat cos that would be the beginning of destruction of your new ride. Though I haven't used the ride. My short advice

First do you have black suite coming out of your exhaust. If yes. A good reason you need to check your Air flow sensor and its harness.

Now your car needs complete tune up. And this involves changing of spark pkugs, servicing of injector noozles, checking of your fuel pump pressure, changing of fuel filter and servicing of your inlet manifold. All this would have been things I would have treated. But mind you get recommended spark plugs when getting them. If you do all this your car would be back to live again. Thank me later grin
