EgunMogaji: It's a shame that you had to say this to a grown man. Could you explain how it turns out to be a shame? If you driving and you know the nature of car you drive and you still decide to enter a pool of water. Is it not just better you pull over and continue your journey. I have only given an advice here. Nothing more or less |

jodeci: Thanks bro.My online research tends to agree with yours. I am PortHarcourt based. If your mechanic has a professional scan tool let him run a scan on your abs or better still use actual values to detect the wheel speed sensor that is malfunctioning |

Car Talk › Re: Why Does "Slip" Flash Randomly On My Dash Board When Accelerating On The Highway by mayor2013: 8:56pm On Sep 17, 2016 |
jodeci: This started since yesterday on my 2007 Nissan Pathy.
The "Slip" light flashes randomly and each time it does i loose acceleration and no matter how hard i step on the pedal, the car does not accelerate.
As soon as the slip light goes off it picks up acceleration again. It doesnt last for more than a minute before it goes off on its own.
If i switch off the VDC the issue stops. But I can't drive for long with VDC off.
No check engine light is ON.
Pls any idea on what to check? Why not safe your self a heart attack by running a comprehensive scan on the car and that would reveal what is going on. If you are in lagos and you need to solve the problem call 08156087872 or 08165520837 |

byna: Hello Guys,
I keep on being told that I should switch off the AC esp while entering a pool of water. Has anyone and idea why? Or have you experienced a fault after leaving it on?
I read automobile Eng and so far I haven't read any theoretical backup to this assertion.
Do you have any clue? What car do you drive? If you have your compressor mounted @ the bottom side of the engine as seen most especially in hondas and some brands of cars then its advisable you switch it off so as to avoide damage. You don't need to read about any theoretical script to figure this out. If you still haven't studied burahionmics course then you are in for trouble. This is an electrical component what happens when water touches it? |

joeruano: The car is usually sluggish when I start a journey but later speeds up well after some minutes of being on the road. And if I slow down and decide to accelerate again, it takes a long while for it to accelerate normally even though it's engine is a V6. And it seems to consume more fuel these days. *** What could be wrong with it? A proper diagnosis needs to be carried out. First thing you need to do is run a comprehensive scan on your power train (engine & transmission) . What ever fault error(s) seen would be used to work to arrive at a solution. Do not throw money around parts. If you need a solution and you are in lagos. Call 08156087872 or 08165520837 |

ifycool: Good evening the gurus in the house.. please can anyone help explain why am having a Maintenance Required Soon on my dashboard.
This is a car that I bought almost a month now. Though the check engine light & VSC light came on after getting home the day the car was bought. The auto diagnosis carried out reveal Catalyst converter was stolen and I purchased and replaced it, then the code was erased and it never came back gain.
Please note that was properly serviced with Lubex SYN 5W30 Oil with Toyota Oil filter.
Just yesterday evening after returning from, as I was about going out at night, immediately I started the car, the maintenance required soon warning displayed on the dashboard.
Can any one tell me what the issue is please. Tanx and God bless. The maintenance required light (oil life) needs to be reset back to 100% |

@ op your engine cost $7000. Shipping fee not inclusive. There is a core charge of $1000. What this means is that if you can return back your old engine. 1k dollar would be deducted from the $7000. Am yet to get the actual mileage of the engine. I would revert back with that. |

Denn: Wrecking a premium engine manufactured in 2007 demands for the arrest and permanent detention of the driver.
What other economic sabotage can be greater than this?
This engine was designed to last for 50 years at the barest minimum.
Heck, my 1969 German engine still purrs like a kitten and it shows no signs of previous overhaul.
To OP: Get your VIN and confirm exact engine spec in your car. Then do proper online research. Get up and take a trip to Ladipo. Do a search. You would be surprised at what stuffs you can get. If you cannot find in Ladipo, scout online and possibly take the offer of N650k first or 5000 USD. Even if the N650k engine is bad (which I doubt), get a guarantee that it will work or funds would be returned. If possible, use the seller's mechanic and pay balance after completion. Final step is to fire your driver. He can only drive cheaper Toyotas
I really feel for you Funds returned in ladipo? Can't be ladipo |
