Using the scan tool makes it faster. Precise and much more reliable. @ times when you don't get to use the scan tool your Abs, VSc trac off etc remains on as the case may be on other cars.

You are not far fetched from getting another transmission. Price is 400k. Your kazeem screwed up things. Before that job was done he should have allowed the car's transmission cool down properly. In my own case I would do that job the next day. Dont forget in the process of pulling out the cv joint. A bit of Transmission oil would be lost (might not be the case for all cars). that process is hazardous to toyota and lexus. Am afraid that's the only way out now

Oga. On what basis are you making those assertions? This is original magnaflow catalytic converter which i bought and shipped myself. U have not seen the cat physically yet u're already making assertions. I only took that picture to show tbat the catalyst inside is intact. However it looks to you in the picture may be picture effect.
In any case, rather than cast aspersions on a good product, if u're not interested, simply move on instead of spoiling my thread. I will be moving this thread to the auto section to avoid being banned.

At this point I am thinking of changing the transmission to the common auto transmision.I think thre manual mode with inbuilt clutch made the transmission more liable to damage.What do you suggest.Is there any bad consequence of doing this?

If you have money to throw around. We got quite some few engineers you can share this money equally with right here. I see another bag of money going down the drain on this

What kind of catalytic converter is this? @ op take good look at the last pic and spot the opening where the catalyst is installed. By the time this is fixed in a car in no time the heat generated would make that catalyst degrade faster. Also this would make your check light illuminate. That opening is just a "NO" for me.

What was the scan result? Any one?

Run a scan on your car. Am afraid you might need to get another transmission

Any blue somke coming out from the exhaust? If your engine cover seals are gone you could have a case like this where the plugs soaks oil .if your engine compression is still ok. Do they do this in Germany? converting hydraulic shocks absorber to spring? Then there are lot more kazeems world wide. I was beginning to think kazeems were limited to Nigeria until I read this tonight from frypan to fire

You have a leak some where. And this leak causes you to loose engine oil there by touching hot parts of the engine causing the smoke. Ask your mechanic to inspect oil leaks or if you are in lagos visit multi autolab. 08165520837 or 08156087872
