The smell of rotten eggs is due to a compound called hydrogen sulfide. This comes from the small amount of sulfur that is present in the fuel. Normally the sulfur is converted to sulfur dioxide, which has no odor. When the converter breaks or the filtering layers have worn down inside the converter, the sulfur is not transformed into the odorless form. Therefore a strong rotten egg smell is produced. Another possible cause for this smell may be that the converter is plugged. Unfortunately you cannot repair a converter but need to have it completely replaced. Two other causes of rotten eggs besides a broken catalytic converter include an engine that is running too hot or a broken fuel pressure regulator. You can easily deal with the fuel pressure regulator by replacing the fuel filter.

Interpretation ---- Stop accelerating hard (start saving for a cat) or buy air wick (to mask the rotten egg smell, incase you decide to drive hard again) or keep you window up, when hard driving temptation arises or also eat boiled egg (it counters the rotten egg smell).................
Or better still, have your vehicle scanned ..........................

Hi,

I have some cars that require a specialist to fix the dreaded transmission failsafe error for the following vehicles

1.) Range rover Vogue 2004 :- Gear is sluggish in low gears (1,2 and 3). Probably oil level or bad transfer motor.

2.) BMW 545! 2005 :- gear is sluggish and jumps through changes.

Please share contact details of any reputable specialist you may know.

Not like I have not tried to do something about the catalyst before actually, I discovered that it had been removed when I bought the car and I bought another one like three months ago just that after fixing the catalyst that my mechanic bought from ladipo the error was still there, though this issue of slow acceleration just started like a week ago

GAZZUZZ:
your engine (if v6 is over 700k) better park it and have it solved if the catalyst is the problem, iv seen grown men cry when they see the bill of repairs.

Hi everyone,

I noticed that my corolla sports 2011 is not as fast as it used to be, the only error I have there is p0420 which has always been there since I bought the car, also the engine runs fine when idling but just that when accelerating it's not so fast , I have had my mechanic clean the injectors,cleaned the air-filter and its same.. kindly advise with ideas on what could be wrong

On the 24th of October which was on monday, she still ran away with one of my expensive shoes and we both had fun, me chasing and she running deeper into the woods at the back of my house, so why is she not her normal self this morning (25th of October) I tried to monitor her, then some few minutes later, she passed out a watery stool, I was concerned, but i didn't read much to it cause dogs have diarrhea once in a while maybe due to change of diet or something she has eaten... On returning home, there was no dog to welcome me, I was concerned... once someone touches my gate, Goldie will always show up, so where could she be Just before I started the search, I saw her coming out from the side of the house, Goldie never goes there to rest, and she wasn't her normal energetic self too, she was weak... Immediately, I knew something was seriously wrong... I called her vet, and explained things to him, he told me to get her glucose and force feed her with a syringe from time to time, that by evening, I should give him an update that he was going to come over the next day.

That evening, I kept her in my room, and I tried to feed her fish and egg, she wouldn't eat, I feed her with my hands, after a little while, once I put a little in her mouth, she takes it away, climbs on my bed, dg my bed, drop it and use her nose to cover it... so I stopped feeding before I end up with rats and a smelly room... Around 2am in the morning, Goldie vomited... That was when the real PROBLEM started.

please help, can brain box affect the gear selection of a lexus jeep rx 300 2000model 4wheel drive? this started when i changed my brain box.
though my rewire scanned it and told me its the gear and when we took it to a gear specialist, he said there is nothing wrong with the gear that the brain box is not yet compatible with the jeep .
the jerking is only felt when am on top speed for the car moves very well.
it was never like this until now after the brain box was stolen.

Hi,
I need help. I drive a BMW 525i 2004 model and it sometimes gives me transmission error. When it happens, the car fails to engage reverse gear. However when I turn the engine off and restart it, the error disappears and the reverse gear starts to work.

Requesting if you could advice what could be the issue.

It would be helpful if you were to state the general principles and assessment framework for import duty on vehicles.

For instance the tariffs associated with year, vehicle type, engine capacity commercial or private. That would prevent a lot of unnecessary information requests and help inform people even before they go through the import duty clearing process.

To be informed will equip people with the information that will prevent them being duped, scammed and over charged in the first place. Most clearing agents keep the process shrouded in mystery to take advantage and essentially abuse thier supposed customers.
