Thanks for your input. I have watched a couple of videos of Maxisys being used for ECU reflash, and all the demo presenters did was to load the calibrations from the device, without having to visit the OEM websites. Somehow confusing.

Meanwhile, somebody is offering me Maxisys Pro for 480K. How possible is that

Autel maxi sys pro, maxi sys elite which is far more better than pro, maxi sys908 and maxi sys mini and maxi sys 906. Am sure the person is talking about the maxi sys mini or 908. How much does he think the js2534 pass thru hard ware only is? This is no obd2 scan tool we talking real scan tool here.

I have been researching these tools, and it seems you don't need OEM subscription to undertake ECU reflash with them. Can someone confirm this?

Never heard of making any subscription for ecu reflash but if the tools requires you connecting to the car manufacturer's database for an ecu reflash then you would need to pay the required fee. So far so good whatever programming function you need to carry out with this tool that would require the j2534 hardware you need to pay for that subscription. I know for sure thats not free. One of the best scan tool in the market

With all due respects, the oil you displayed is the dubai oil. We want the USA Toyota Motor oil that comes in 1 quart packs and the mobil-1 5 quarts.

If you need the USA 1 litre toyota oil its available @ 3k5. Mobil 1 5litres is 17k

We have toyota motor oil 5w30 in stock 4 litres is 9k. You can as well use it with " Bosch" oil filter

The days of the 504 are over, all you needed was a scan tool to check all gear selections while driving, that rules out mechanical damage to the gear then you move on to find the culprit. Sorry everyone please can I put a Camry 2.2 engine inside a v boot wagon, as anyone tried it before what are the dos and donts, Camry is quite cheap to maintain and doesn't give major faults unlike the Mercedes vboot, and most engines I find about Mercedes vboot doesn't come with an air conditioner

I complained to my mechs..they said maybe it is an electrical issue..to cut d long story short..all d electrical guys cudnt fix it.I was advised to change the gear,I did..it resulted in me buying a new engine..but yet even with d new gear and engine..the car has refused to select gear 4 n 5..I'm frustrated.. I put d car up for sale and that's where ul get ridiculous offers.I like d car and if okay I wouldn't want to sell..it's a v6 sef..pls offer advise or a solution.. I know inside me that d issue is not even a big one.note there is a hold button by the gear lever that limits gear selection..I'm even suspecting that d issue cud be from d button..d mechs don't even understand why I mean..pls help

This is serious that button is called your over drive button which allows your transmission go into the 4th 5th and probably 6th gear if your ride is a 6speed transmission. If you have the "over drive" (od) light illuminated on your cluster then your transmission wouldn't go into 5th and 6th gear. Make sure you press the button to deactivate it and make sure it doesn't come up on your instrument cluster. Your ride is obd2 compliant. In addition you might want to run a scan on your ride. This would tell you exactly what is going on. Or still have a personal scan tool that would allows you check faults on your cars. Days of trial by errors are over

Ypu need to trace where the leak is coming from. If its not a large leak start the car let it run between 5mins-10mins. I have been introduced to different mechanic who has ended up spoiling my car, the engine of my Honda baby boy was sound and perfectly. Working not until one useless. Mechanic who's office is located at opebi link bridge handled it and now it's from one problem to another. The recent one. I am facing now is that the car hardly climb hills and I need to turtle down hard before it moves and also it hardly starts.. if I park the car for like 10 mins or 30 mins. To start it is always a problem and once it's eventually starts I have to fire and turtle continuously to make the engine warm before I can drive out because if I don't do that it will keep going off and I can't just start and leave the car to warm itself because if I leave it it would go off and off. So sick and tired. Now the mechanic is advising me to put the car for sale, just imagine! Aside that he's asking me to change engine! When it was the same mechanic who complimented my car when I brought it to him the first time! Please what do I do cos I believe my engine is still sound and need an expert on Honda baby boy to check on it.

I have drove it back home now though the light is still coming up but not steady. anyway it might be any of other points you mentioned earlier . I will diagnose it tomorrow .thanks very much sir

From your topping up of oil it means your engine is shorting out oil. Could be a leak some where you need to check well. If oil shortens then this is to say that the oil indicator lamp would come up, I would want to start trouble shooting by inspecting for oil leaks

There are thousand and 1 things tht can make your car consume fuel. The lists are too long. But to nal the culptit run a scan. A scan would tell you whats going on

Still have your AC system checked properly there is no free flow of waste water to come out through the waste pipe underneath your car. Go to your car put on the ac and observe the flow of water from underneath when the ac is on for about 30mins
