It didn't come with it or it has been removed? If you have an aftermarket alloy installed then probably it wasn't fitted in. You need to gt another one and all should be recalibrated

@mayor2013, do u fix diagnostic ports? I tried scanning my Orobo, ports weren't working. Different scanners were used by the technician.

When/If you want to buy KYB,There are some things you should look out for which would reduce your chances of buying a fake.
1.MADE IN JAPAN will be visibly engraved on the Body of the Shocks( not pasted,casually labelled or written) and not "JAPAN QUALITY" OR "GENUINE PRODUCT"
2.Watch out for misspelled Words or irregular patterns eg KYb,kYB,kyB etc
3. When I remember other points I will post them
Finally Always give Your Car/Cars to Good auto mechanics to Fix,Ignorant kazeems are very dangerous to your car and buying original Shocks doesn't mean u should start bouncing in and out of potholes...avoid as much as you can(Shock Abs ain't Horses)

The points listed above does not count my brother. It is important to note that all parts of a car comes in various standards. A good kyb would shock would cost you nothing less than 100k. How many part sellers import directly from japan. They are all liars. Its expensive importing things from japan. Japan is quite far. Even an importation is to be made it stops at dubai first.

Tokico is a lovely product. Have bought one more than 3yrs ago and its still intact

KYB (kayaba) is one of the best (If not the best) Mid-price Shock Absorbers available in Nigeria. It is a Japanese Product but be careful when buying,I heard the imitation has entered our markets.

You go fear kyb. A lot of fake now in the market. Bought one for my corolla and never lasted up to a month

The unit I got is not working with the battery and I plan returning it for a replacement or refund.

I just checked now. It's supposed to work with the battery when unplugged from the vehicle. And I already upgraded the software version. I'll return it for a replacement that works with battery.

Autel ms509 works with the battery. The device has got an inbuilt memory that is capable of storing information e, g when you scan a car and you forgot the fault error and you need to get hold of the scan result. You can always plug in the battery and retrieve info from the scan tool

If after trial in a worse case scenario u miight need to get a new starting unit (key, immobiliser & ecu). Am sure the system has been corrupted after making series ofl attempts. Nevertheless keep trying. Where is the location? Lagos?

At cold start early in the morning my own car (nissan primera) will start normal. Afterwards, if I try to start it, it will be going off. I will have to pedal down the throttle a little for it to start. What could be the fault??

AUTEL vag 450,someone said that my ECU might be OBD1 and not OBD2,do u think so. My car is obd2 and has obd2 port,scanner then link only to the TCU bt link error to ECU.

Your car is OBD 2 compliant. You might want to try scanning your ecu with a high end scan tool

Am not in Lagos,as regards the gearbox,it has been working flawlessly without any problem in gear selection even yesterday b4 i travelled this morning.
I don't want this shade tree mechanics to mishandle it with their try and error method,i need assistant frm experience folks here b4 taking it to the mechanic.

A scan should pick that up. What kind of scan tool was used

This morning while driving, my car seized or sputtered, and afterward the car was hitting 4000 rpm's when i was only going 60km. It would go higher if I tried to accelerate past that.When i remove foot frm pedal the rpm will still remain on the point until i floor the pedal then it will come down to around 2300rpm. i think this is a problem but am not sure where the problem comes from.
Could it be trottle issue,mass air flow sensor or low fluid? The fluid was normal yesterday b4 i engage on the journey ths morning.
My transmission is okay without any code frm the scan though my scan tool doesn't link to my engine, thus i couldn't scan the engine bt can read codes frm the transmission. i dont know why it can't see my engine.(vw golf mk3 auto 1996)

Sounds like a gearbox issue. If your MIL is illuminated. Run a scan if you are in lagos come for diagnosis. Bb pin is 7BE1C522

I took my Honda Crosstour 2010 for Diagnosis and it pulled up two error codes

first one was : P0161
second one: P0420

Second one was cleared and a re-scan was done, but the first code didn't go away, now the guy told me that i need to replace both B2 And S2 Sensors, Does anyone knows how much both sensors cost..? and where i can get them. I live in Warri just in case, Thanks

Does the CEL show? if not you cant scan anything. A similar problem was solved on my moms crv by changing the cold start switch. A scan cost 1k in lagos. Dont let any1 reap u off.

If you had your scanned by person A @ 1k does not mean you are gonna get it else where for same price
