Marginalized you sad. For Anambra na Hausa man be governor? Abia na Yoruba man be their governor?

For once, I wished the ibos will be allowed to leave this shame of a country. I have never felt sympathetic towards any tribe like I did especially during the governorship elections. they have truly been marginalized
Blessed 🙏 you always.. Trying to take what doesn't belongs to them.

author=Ojady post=121895971]The funny thing I noticed is the fact that the northerners never lost sleep during this elections.
It was funny to see Biafrans and Omoluabis, the most westernized groups in Nigeria, allowing their tribalistic and primordial sentiments manifest and descend into bigotry, irrationalism and hypocrisy online and actually.
It was funny to finally come to terms that both Biafrans and Omoluabis are the problem of Nigeria. That both are the 2 sides of a coin.

It was funny to learn that for once in a long while and hopefully, going forward, the Omoluabis can stand together and decide it is time to collectively end the misplaced notions of ownership, arrogance, overbearing and evil agenda of Biafrans in the SouthWest.

It was funny to see Biafrans, rather than rally themselves and stand together to begin the ascent towards 'developing' the east and actualization of Biafra as they claim to have developed everywhere (e.g. South Africa, Ghana, Indonesia, etc) they have set foot on, they are online and on the streets wailing about the refusal to be given what was not theirs to be taken in the first place.

I found it funny that the masses truly fell for the illusion that they had a say or could choose through voting who they wanted. "Go get your PVC! Go get your PVC!!" was just to justify the enormous amount spent on the election. There is no One Nigeria only the Elite vs the Masses.

Equally interesting is how BAT was so vilified by folks both Biafrans and Omoluabis who never knew or met with him personally. How young people would be talking shamelessly about his health or his past, when most of us all have a history we are not proud of. Many who talked about his health in damming terms, we are watching how many of you will grow old or attain his level of health at his age. This is not a curse, Karma is just a dish that never forgets and comes for you when you least expect.

Tbh, so much was learned...however one overriding fact is, nothing on this earth will change for the better, the only hope of man is Jesus Christ, the One who need not to be President/Governor to change the desperation of our souls
They're hypocrites. Imagine that one adding Abiola or what did he add to his name for us to believe he is Yoruba. I tired for these people. Definitely they've an agenda. I'm a born and bred ladipo spare part market niccur. The market spring up in the early 90s whilst I was in pry school. These people get different hanky, panky antics oo. Fear them.
Even they fear Dem selves, talking from experience. My dad still own a house there..

To all Igbos, I don't support thugs not allowing you guys to vote but put yourself in Yorubas shoes. The Rhodes Vivor guy might have actually won if you guys didn't play politics like you did. What happened to PDP why did you people abandon PDP for LP this time around? Why must all of you mobilize yourself to vote one party one candidate. Why hate Sanwo Olu so much is he not a Christian, what of Jandor why didn't some of you vote for him or is it because Rhodes Vivour is half Igbo?

These block vote is why Yorubas believe there is an agenda.

Every tribe distribute their votes across party from what have seen in the entire geopolitical zone, why do Igbos in Lagos vote one party if not having an agenda.
author=bakynes post=121893538]
Let me ask you a question, why do Igbos vote enmass for one party in Lagos? Its a sign of an agenda. All other tribes and states voted across party, why must all Igbos vote one party one candidate. Igbos residing in the South East voted LP,PDP and APGA. Fine Igbos hate APC and Sanwo Olu what of Jandor the PDP candidate, the block votes from Igbos shows that there is an agenda against the Yoruba people.
Alayee go rest, it's not about rejection. You and I know politics is played on a high card. Governor of Ondo wife is Igbo. Governor of osun mother is Igbo. You're just bitter the election is gone. Let's get back to work. I voted for obi as a Yoruba man. Immediately your shinedu wanted to be the governor of Lagos, but, first have to go and pay homage to the Oni of ife, is Ife part of Lagos?
Thats where he lost me. I want a change, changing the narative. I grew up with Ibos in Ladipo market. I trained loads of them in Ibadan, they still call me egbon, you can't differentiate them from Yoruba those I trained in Ibadan. Let's move on. Shalom

uote author=oluztx post=121874091]I'm telling you people, you will never recover from this uncivilized display of tribalism, both at home and overseas. Yorubas will be ostracized in all level of interactions, socially, economically and politically. Other tribes will avoid you people like plaques, even their kids will avoid yoruba kids. When you apply for a job, employer has every right to say NO to you because you are a tribalist, uncivilized and will taint the culture of the company with your evil and wicked mindset. You people don't understand the hole you have dug for yourselves and your unborn generation. Especially in overseas, other tribes will want nothing to do with you people, and don't ever cry racism oh, people will think you are a joke. I pity innocent Yorubas, the real Omulabis, whom unfortunately are also victims of their kinsmen foolishness.
It pays not to disgrace yourself publicly.
U should be grateful NAIRALAND still has a few people like us left. Many graced this site & were chased out by lots like you.

People like you are the reason a lot of people don't transact businesses with Nairalanders.
U are part of the reason NAIRALAND scores low in terms of business partnership.
No one can ever be trusted in Nigeria again.
The very few worthy Nigerians now filter the Greetings of others.

Nairalanders rarely respond to DMs & mails sent to them... U caused it.
Visit other International sites operated by other countries and see how Young Guys start up business plans even without meeting face2face.
............................................That is TRUST!

IF such TRUST existed among Nairalanders, tell me why I won't be able to give someone in Lagos, Abuja, Enugu a surprise birthday bash from another faraway country without having to visit?
We have too many event planners here, yet no one is patronizing them on a platform that can boast of over 2M people... That's SAD cry cry cry

Keep Blaming Buhari. Keep talking about Sex.
Another Leader will be uploaded soon.
U won't hesitate to transfer your blames.
You're percent right. I was talking to an ibo friend of mine yesterday. He is even undecided about igbo presidency. I explained to him, I supported Yemi Osinbanjo for presidency from day one and if he didn't win the ticket for Apc, the next president of Naija should come from the east. My choice was even moghalu, however, obidient now .

Most, if not all the people who posted accounts here are either Anti P.O, or undecided,

The funny thing is all of them are extraordinarily broke and will go with the highest bidder like what happened in Ekiti election recently.

They are hard hit as long as the APC regime is concerned, but yet they're still supporting them. Too bad for a country that want to move forward.

I'm a die hard Supporter of Peter Obi but don't need a dime. I'm just doing my duty to ursher in a new and great day for my dear country.

Pls feel free, to still do what you want to do if you can get genuine P.O supporters on the thread

Thank you for this gestures.

Reading thru your writings, its suffice to say, everything that glitters us not gold, however, I would trade my freedom fir the future of my kids, this part of the world is not working and the future looks blink... America for me any day any time regardless the mass shootings.. Answer my prayers oh lord

IPIGMODS:
35 years of living in the US, I have never feared for my safety as much as I do now.
Some of you don't want to hear this but I feel safer whenever I'm back in Lagos than I do here.
Every American major cities have become so dangerous that you have to think about where you are going and fo what purpose.
I generally avoid any unnecessary trips outside of my house.
Coming to Naija soon and I'm looking forward to it like a child going to Disney world.
That's the American reality.

Another mass shooting just last night in TN

https://www.yahoo.com/news/six-people-shot-chattanooga-tennessee-182801897.html

There have been more than 200 of these mass shooting in 2022 alone and we are still in MAY, some don't even make the major headlines anymore.

Having said all these, the US remains may be the only country where you can come from anywhere with nothing and start earning a very decent legal income in a short time. That's what's keeping most people here.
