The Iceland Coach think of us a team to test their strenght outside Europe.

Iceland Coach: We’ll Play Nigeria Differently From Croatia, Argentina; We’re Without Superstars
newsheadlines.com.ng Dec 3, 2017 3:32 PM
Heimir Hallgrimsson, head coach of Iceland, reckons that the prospect of facing African powerhouse Nigeria will be new and exciting for his Cinderella side who have taken the football world by storm since qualifying and impressing at the last European Championships in France in 2016.

Speaking exclusively to Completesportsnigeria.com at the Kremlin Palace, venue of last Friday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup draw in Moscow, Hallgrimsson insists playing different countries with different football philosophies is proof positive that Icelandic football is going in the right direction.

He said: “Facing Nigeria will be a new experience for us. It is our first World Cup so everything is kind of new and exciting. Playing against a South American team and then an African team is different from what we are used to. The pedigree of Nigeria at the World Cup is good. They have experienced players in big teams

We av been winning and playing... Like aw many matches?...just a friendly against Argentina?
Mention any serious match we won wout onazi or moses in d starting line up under rohr

U re saying winning as if we av played close to 100matches under rohr grin grin
Are you kidding me? This is pure joke. I know deep down that if we had lost against Argeria or even Argentina you would have reminded anyone that cares to listen How important the players you mentioned are .

It is a good advantage that we can still dorminate and win match without the big players. That is How a team shoud be.

” I am happy it wasn’t a group where we had to play against African teams like Nigeria. They run a lot and are very physical in their approach. We are no doubt still up against strong sides at the World Cup “
--NEYMAR J

What's with them and our physicality, have they built an alibi to discredit our quality and class, hard work and effort in case we win.
who are those physical players in our team?
is it Ebuehi,Iheanacho or Iwobi.
Balogun an Ekon are not even pure African,Ndidi plays normal football without much on physicality.
na wa for all these Oyibos
All of them seems to be talking about our speed and physicality, If this was such a huge advantage, why havn't we gone far in the World Cup? Abi we developed this quality over night.

omo, make una bone these people.

No be oyibo wey we know? They probably think our players are a bunch of hungry, skinny people whose only knowledge of football is monkeypost.

If we start going to their page to intimate them on our players, we would be exposing ourselves. Leave them in their blissful ignorance

June is not very far grin
Exactly, the issue is that their Coach might not be as ignorant as the fans. He will put in some extral work.

I really want to see those arrogant fans bow their heads in shame when Super Eagles hit them like a Dangote truck.

lol...so, na you go cause kasala for another country forum? grin

Guy, see, e no matter wetin dem talk, they are on their turf, they can say anything and should not be attacked for expressing themselves in their forum.

Last month, we were insulting the field we played on in Algeria and I remember an Algerian coming to NL...and while he made a show of comparing both their field and that of Uyo, he didn't resort to throwing insults at us. That was him being civil, and that is what is expected of us as well.

Mazimee was also on that Croatian page and he simply told them Nigeria is no pushover, I am sure he also saw the comments against Nigeria before he posted that, but he didn't attack them.

No dey go another man house to fight am onto say you hear am dey insult you when you dey pass him window.

Cool ya temper Nna grin
Lol, I just went there just to know how they feel about us only to see a suffocating arrogance that was oozing everywhere in that their forum . They really think of us like a bunch of high school football team that they can walk on all over easily.

I really wish their coach will have this metality and at the world cup.

Thts the point too Baby... Am not gon watch that match that day ..... Pep just say he wants Pogba to play on the derby.... I like his confident though.. But I hope the boys has it too... To be honest with you, am a fan of the cityzens but our last three games just shows we are not ready on the derby!!! We are getting weak... embarassed embarassed
Manchester united, lost against Basel, and later managed to win Brighton with a stupid own goal , if not the match would have ended in a goaless draw. I

My point is that, Manchester united is not stable too, you saw How Arsenal was all over them in their last match. If not for De Gea, Lukaku would have scored an own goal yesterday. Don't be dexieved with the scoreline because it didn't tell the true story of the match.

Don't get discourage with the results we had recently, We still got Kelvin De Bruyne, He will do his magic wink wink

Who is Lukaku? Who is Rashford?

Yes we have been struggling recently but we always go home with a result. That is the winning mindset of the citizens

The guy you quoted was right.

You remember that Okocha use to keep that braids hair style too? You can attest to the fact that He still look cool, mature and better than any other person in that group picture (excluding Eto'o ) without the braids.

Ahead of the 2018 World Cup draw in the Russian capital, some former members of the Belgian national team and coaches want to avoid facing Nigeria in the group stage.

The Belgium squad boasts some of the biggest stars in the English Premier League : Chelsea trio Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi, Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku and Liverpool's Simon Mignolet.

Good for him but i don't see him displacing Enyimba first choice just like he failed to displace Akpeyi at heartland,Ebere Obi at Ranger, the same thing at Ifeanyi Uba last season, meaning Ezenwa must have a strong backing of unknown forces making him always available for Eagles call.Oga o.
Lol, I never knew He had strong competitors (still have ) at club level all this while. How did He manage all that?

Uncle Ezenwa has signed for Eyimmba just yesterday
