Anderlecht Advised To Buy Another Striker: Onyekuru Belongs To Everton allnigeriasoccer.com Dec 12, 2017 1:00 PM Anderlecht Advised To Buy Another Striker: Onyekuru Belongs To Everton Belgian First Division A champs Anderlecht have been advised to scour the transfer market for an alternative to Henry Onyekuru as the Nigeria international could return to his parent club Everton in the next six months or even in January. Even though Onyekuru has often been criticized by manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck for unnecessary showboating as you would expect from a young player, the fact is the Nigerian has delivered for Anderlecht, topping the goal charts with nine goals after the latest round of matches. Former Anderlecht striker Gilles De Bilde reckons that the club will encounter problems if Onyekuru returns to Everton. He told Het Laatste Nieuws : ''In spite of everything, his figures are good, he gets his return, but he is hired and at the end of the season he is basically away or with some bad luck maybe even this winter. So in the long run ... '' The 20-year-old Onyekuru penned a multi-year contract with Everton in the summer before he was immediately loaned out to Anderlecht after failing to obtain a British work permit. He is contention to be included in Nigeria's squad list for the 2018 World Cup. Igho Kingsley |
Rohr To Meet Puel Over Musa, Iheanacho’s Limited Game Time At Leicester onlinenigeria.com Dec 12, 2017 5:22 PM Irked by the bench roles some of Super Eagles stars play at their respective clubs in a world cup season, Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr is set to have talks with various coaches, and Leicester City will be his first port of call, r reports. A highly placed source at the secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja told Completesportsnigeria.com that the Super Eagles coach, aside discussing the Nigerian players’ inactivity or lack of impressive playing time, will also exchange ideas on how best to use the players at both club and country levels. “Rohr is worried about Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa not seeing action at Leicester City and has been trying to schedule a meeting with Claude Puel, and coaches of other clubs with Nigerian players. He would also visit Turkey, Belgium and Germany to see other players and their coaches,” the impeccable source told Completesportsnigeria.com. “He is more concerned about Iheanacho not seeing action ahead of the world cup. Musa plays for the Leicester’s U-23s, and may go on loan to another club in January. Only Wilfred Ndidi plays regularly for Leicester.” Our source also revealed that Rohr would also visit Carl Ikeme to know his health situation, as well as meeting Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina at their respective clubs. |

Croatia Coach : Nigeria Not A Typical African Team, They Have Mikel allnigeriasoccer.com Dec 12, 2017 9:09 AM Croatia Coach : Nigeria Not A Typical African Team, They Have Mikel Croatia national team coach Zlatko Dalić has admitted that their opening game against Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup is the most important match for them in Group D. Zlatko Dalic was appointed Croatia coach following the sacking of Ante Cacic ahead of their crunch World Cup qualifier against Ukraine in October. ''Nigeria is not a typical African national team, they have Mikel as a captain and a young, powerful player,'' Dalic said to Istinom do gola, according to Sportske Novosti . ''They are fast, agile, will not be easy, but if the plan to go through we have to beat them.'' Assuming Croatia or Nigeria finish second in Group D, there is a huge probability that they will face one of the pre-tournament favorites in the form of France in the round of sixteen. ''I said already, it's not easy, but it could be harder. However, I say that the priority is to go to the second round, the knockout competition. If we do not get it, it would be a failure,'' added the 51-year-old coach. Ifeanyi Emmanuel |

Leicester City Boss Refuses To Rule Out Selling Kelechi Iheanacho In January Published: December 09, 2017 Leicester City boss Claude Puel has refused to rule out the possibility of selling Nigeria star Kelechi Iheanacho four weeks before the winter transfer market opens for business. The Foxes have six strikers in the first team consisting of Iheanacho, Vardy, Ahmed Musa, Slimani, Okazaki and Ulloa, and the former Man City starlet has found game time hard to come by after making only two starts in the Premier League from a possible fifteen. ''Kelechi had an injury and after, for the moment, we have competition,'' Puel was quoted as saying by Leicester Mercury ''I am happy with Jamie for example. Kelechi or other players cannot play on the side. ''It’s difficult for them, but for me also to manage all these players because we have six strikers so there is no place for all the players.'' Puel added :: ''I try to respect them. Kelechi arrived this season and we will see. With all these games in this busy period, we will see. ''Time will tell. The window is not open, we will see. For the moment, we just look at all these games. We need all the players.'' Iheanacho penned a five-year contract with Leicester City in the summer for a fee in the region of 25 million pounds. |

Legendary Croatia Striker Ivica Olić : Nigeria Powerful Team, Far Better Than Cameroon ''Nigeria is a powerful team, extremely fast, physically powerful, certainly uncomfortable. They are our first opponents, we need to analyze them well, they are, for me, much better than Cameroon with whom we met in the past World Cup.'' Olić scored the first goal for the Croatians after 11 minutes in their 4-0 demolition of Cameroon at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Ifeanyi Emmanuel |
Super Eagles World Cup team almost complete brila.net Ex Nigeria defender Ifeanyi Udeze believes Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr already knows his team for the 2018 world cup. Rohr will select 23 players for the final tournament in Russia and Udeze insists the German tactician already has a good idea which names will make the cut. Through the six qualifying matches he took charge of, Rohr invited 40 players in total at different times. Speaking on Brila FM, Udeze who had a world cup appearance in 2002 with the Super Eagles, maintains that there may be room for just five more players in the plans of the Coach. ‘Right now although we can’t say the team is a finished article, I want to believe the Coach already knows his players and which players will make the final cut. ‘At this point with six months to the world cup I would think he might only have room for three or even five new faces or not so regular players. Otherwise, Rohr knows his team already.’ |
Kog45:It is true that Joel Obi is injury prone but he is a better player than Etebo. We just have to hope he will be fit through out the world cup. I don't know much about Aiyenugba Dele, but I have seen enough of Daniel Akpeyi. He maybe be good at his club, but it seems like he will never get it right with the National team, Hence I will rather go for Dele Alampasu. Okoye Maduka option is to avoid a repeat of Alaba incident. We don't know the stomoach that will give birth to the king. |
Kog45:Those are the players of my prefrence |
ibkkk:You picture go fit for a meme oo . Back to topic, it is Funny how this women openly take nude photos but will let all hell loose if I happen bump into the bathroom or the bedroom while they are also nude. |
The way some of us take this issue of "who is called/who is kept" in the team very personal like our opinion here would influence who Rohr keeps in his team baffles me . He is not even a Nigerian to begin with, there is no way he will select his players from ethnic prism. This super Eagles that is giving us small joy, you guys are hell bent on spoiling it with What has spoiled every other system in this country. |
Finally, What I feared most is about to happen (happening ) on this thread. |

Argentina Legend Osvaldo Ardiles : Nigeria One Of The Unexpected Favourites; Moses & Iwobi Top Stars Argentina World Cup-winning midfielder, the legendary Osvaldo Ardiles, has picked Nigeria as one of the unexpected favourites for the 2018 World Cup, stating that they are physically powerful and more motivated to win their opening match against Croatia. The former Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and West Brom manager named Chelsea's Victor Moses, Arsenal's Alex Iwobi and Leicester City's Ahmed Musa as the stars in the Super Eagles squad. ''Nigeria is a very, very dangerous team True, there are no longer those big star stars like Finidi, Okocha, Kanu, Amokachi. However, this is a young , energy-loving team that wants to be at the level of its best time,'' Ardiles told sportske.jutarnji.hr. Ardiles, added :''Nigeria could be an unexpected favorite of the World Cup. They will play without any fear, they have nothing to lose and are very powerful. They are physically powerful and totally unpredictable. ''Argentina and Croatia will have to be very careful in the game with Nigeria, with Croatia being in my opinion to be more difficult because it plays the first game with them. '' ''In that opening match, the Nigerians will be the most motivated, they will want to show everything they know, and they will know that getting three points can take them far away. ''Therefore, Croatia must be very concentrated. Not only that, as I recall, African teams usually know they are better at the beginning and less so as the championship moves. ''Here in England play Moses in Chelsea, Iwobi in Arsenal and Musa in Leicester, Obi Mikel from Chelsea has gone to China.'' Nigeria and Croatia face off at the Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad on June 16, 2018. Igho Kingsley |
