Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has sealed contract with two time African Champions Enyimba International FC of Aba.
The deal which was strengthened and signed today will the national team safe gloves naming the post for the Peoples Elephant as the Abia State team campaigns for the NPFL and CAF Confederation Cup.
Ezenwa told Daily Sports in an exclusive telephone interview that he is satisfied with Enyimba deal and he will be at home with the Aba outfit he said has better structures on ground and he would be allowed to ply his trade abroad when such opportunity calls.
He however did not disclose details of the deal but Daily Sports scooped that it was mouthwatering as both parties were happy after signing the dotted lines.
Ezenwa who is also the captain of CHAN Eagles will resume camping Friday in Kano with his teammates preparing for next year’s Africa Nations Championship holding in Morocco.
It would be recalled that Ezenwa is among the Super Eagles players shortlisted for awards this Saturday, December 2 at Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja by the organisers of Nigerian Awards for Sporting Excellence.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has agreed to join former Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enyimba on a one-year deal, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
Ezenwa was rumoured to be set for a move abroad following the expiration of his contract with FC IfeanyiUbah at the end of last season but he has now decided to link up with the former African champions.
“Ezenwa has agreed terms with us. He will join join us in Kano next week where we’ll be playing in a pre-season tournament ahead of the Super Six competition,” a source at the club informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
“He is an experienced goalkeeper and a good addition to our team. We hope his arrival will bring luck to the team and help us challenge for honours next season.”
Ezenwa will challenge Theophilus Afelokhai and Ghana international goalkeeper Fatau Dauda for a starting berth
in the team.

I would have thought coaches preferred defenders as captains. The question is what is the criterion for choosing a captain and why was Musa chosen? Oliseh said he chose Musa's because of his dedication to the team and you cannot argue about Musa's dedication to the team. Until recently, Musa, Osaze and Enyeama were the most dedicated (to me).

Fast forward to 2017, Mikel is not only a dedicated Captain in the Super Eagles, he is also loved and respected by his team mates.
