HungerBAD: Nigeria is working.
To those writing below me,I pray God opens your eyes to see that the fight against corruption is above petty tribal sentiments.
A crime has been committed,so because the Company is owned by an Igbo man,we should turn our faces to the other side?because the Igbos are special and above the law?we should rise above this petty tribal coloration.
The sad thing about cases like this,is that those committing these crimes, are low staff members of the company who wants to make a killing, and so forges documents without the company even being aware of these fraudulent acts.
Back to the Tribal writers below me.
The Police that charged the Company is an Igbo man,and most importantly one of the Lawyers defending the Company is a Yoruba Man. Learn a thing or two from this.
Somebody smart down there wrote, and I quote "This happened in 2013" So for the fact the matter has been dragging on for 3 years, the Buhari Government should let it slide because an Igbo man is involved?people with myopic thinking sef.
The fight against corruption in Buhari's Government,is a fight that must be won,no matter whose ox is gored. As at the time you posted this, nobody has said it's witch-hunt against Ibos, you are the one attacking and defending yourself all because of guilty conscience. The worst thing a man will do to himself is to lie and deceive himself. It's a pity. |

They want to destroy him using his loved ones. We know the dark and diabolical hards behind this show of shame. They only want to push the "more loyal king's men" away and then draw the long swords on him. Daura and Kyari are more important in this government of change than any delusional power hungry schemer. Buhari will fight corruption the way he deems fit, as long as the perpetrator is guilty of the offense. Can someone ask this person I quoted if he attended secondary school and did government as a subject?. If the boy did, he will know the difference btw federal govt and state govt affairs. Well I don't blame him, their toothless god does not apply the principles of Separation of Powers because he does know better so they think it's the norm. Please go back to school. |

dilezy: It has been tears and more tears all morning in Lagos State after news began to filter in that rave Ponzi Scheme, MMM, has crashed in Nigeria, resulting in massive losses for its many members. While details of the crash are still sketchy,
it will be noted that only recently, the Zimbabwean and South African chapters of the MMM franchise also recently packed up, resulting in disbelief, shock and even suicide of some members who lost their life savings to the Ponzi Scheme. These events had led many to plead with involved Nigerians to “get out while they could”, a plea which fell on deaf ears. Our source can confirm that the MMM shut down equates to a mind-boggling loss of over $100million (which will not convert to Naira for the sake of our collective cardiac safety), money which gullible Nigerians had ‘invested’ in the scheme, hoping for 30% returns. Our correspondent headed to Victoria Island to ascertain the reality of the crash and was met with shocking images of men and women weeping on the streets, lamenting how they lost everything. Of particular note was a young man, Ufot Edidiong, who was rolling on the road, while passers-by tried to console him.
It is said he invested N200, 000 he was supposed to spend on his upcoming wedding just Last Wednesday, only for MMM to crash today.”My own don finish” he wept “mbok wedin I go tell Ememobong? Say I don Spain dey money for dey werring for aim-aim-aim and e don doss (loss)? Abasi! Akuko Mike Ejeagha |

kamalcole3000: The choice is Thiers Don't blame a company that is founded by somebody and has come here to do business.
Blame the archaic educational system that produces graduate who go about file in hand seeking a white collar job. Whatever they offer if they offer and you take it,stop complainhg because the interest of the company and its owner's come first. Please read what I wrote once more. I narrated what happened. Like I said, the staff rejeceted the offer and left. Did you hear of any demonstration by the staff? Every company is out to maximise profit so with MTN. If ur employer gives a condition that is not favourable u leave and that was what they did. Where we fault MTN is that they have the resources to make all those contract staff permanent staff which their current CEO proposed when he came but the Nigerians at the top in GOP and other locations kicked against it. Remember everybody must not be self employed, there must be provisions for white collar jobs and people must fill those positions so don't blame anybody. |
Career › Re: We Didn’t Sack 1,500 Workers - MTN Denies Report by Mboi2: 8:12am On Oct 05, 2016 |
eightsin: Can we know what really happened from someone with a first-hand experience Well what MTN Said is actually the truth though what actually happened is more like sacking. Most MTN staff in Nigeria are contract staff especially the call center agents in Apapa, Ikoyi, VGC and other locations. Most of the staff also in MTN walk-in centers are contract staff also. These contract staff's are managed by Mactay & CNSSL. Last year MTN Claimed that they are spending much money managing and paying these contract staff and decided to lay off Mactay &CNSSL contractors then took up ISON BPO after much bidding like they said. They chose ISON BPO because they offered to manage all call center staff with lowest budget. They told MTN that they will pay N48k(net) as against N100 to N120k previous contractors use to pay and move them to Ibadan, Ilorin and Abeokuta. So MTN saw it reduces call center budget for them that's why they termitted the contract of previous contractors (MACTAY &CNSSL) and give the contract to ISON BPO. S0 due to the reduction in pay by more that 60%, and the change in location which ISON does not have any plan for accomodation for atleast first 30days, working hours increased, No benefit or allowance paid to them, all the staff decided to quit the job because it's difficult for one to meet their condition(ISON ). These contract staff so to say were doing all the major works in MTN, not only call center, some spent 8yrs some spent 10yrs, 5yrs etc but as their contract was terminated, MTN through their contractors (MACTAY &CNSSL) did not pay extra kobo apart from their last month salary as severance benefit. The contract of the previous contractors ended Sept 30th then ISON took over 1st Oct and they mandated all CCRs to report to Ibadan BTW that first and 3rd Oct. MTN makes billions of dollars in Nigeria but use Nigerians as slaves to work for them. The current MTN CEO when he came proposed that all MTN Call center agents should be made permanent staff once you've worked up to 2years but some ogas at the top which are Nigerians opposed it. So MTN did not sack their contract staff directly but they did it indirectly. |

forlahkhe: Anytime i have disagreement with my husband, he would always tell me that "I WL GO OUTSIDE, PLENTY BABES DEY OUTSIDE DAT NEED MEN AND I WONT EVEN SPEND MUCH B4 THEY OPEN THEIR LEGS". I always feel hurt by this statement because I believe that we should BOTH be committed to make our home work. If i wont go out there to look for men why should he?
My marriage is just 2yyears but i have never enjoyed 1month happiness. My hubby would prefer to stay late @work because he doesn't want our baby to disturb him with cry cry. I'm a sit @home mum, I resigned my marketing job because I want to have time for my baby but now my husband would not give me money anytime we have misunderstanding, not even for my baby too.
I have called his parents' attention to this but his people call me "ABOKOKU". That because he is married to me doesnt mean he should not enjoy himself, afterall, there are times someone is tired of eating rice and you would want to taste beans and other varieties. His father (57yrs) still has concubines which his mum can't do anything about. But the truth is that this thing is wearing me out emotionally.
I AM MARRIED BT LONELY I feel your pain madam, it's very sad. No insults but your husband is not mature and irresponsible except he has a reason why he's treating you that way. Maturity is not by age. Also his family is not a good family as well. For them to say that he's married does not mean that he won't enjoy himself means that such family is highly iresponsible. I think you should've noticed all these before marriage but you can still change it through and only through prayers. Read your psalms if you are a christian and always pray about your marriage WITH FAITH. You will be suprised of how things will turn around for you. |

We are not as gullible as those who have conspired to frustrate our Economy think.
They want Buhari to fail by all means, and will go to any length to leak fake informations to the public.
We know where this stories are coming from. Let us run through a list of those that want this Government to fail,so we can go back to the old Status Quo.
The Banks. Oil Marketer's. Government Contractors. Militants. PDP politicians and all their supporters. Top Pastors and Imam's in Nigeria. Corrupt media houses like DAAR Communications,SilverBird,ThisDay and a few. Lazy Nigerians that love short cuts.
These are some of those that want the Government to fail, but God on his side Buhari will succeed.
They said he released Kabiru Sokoto, but before then they said he was the Sponsor of Boko Haram. And then they said APC was a Muslim party, and then the President wants to make Nigeria a Muslim Country in the midnight.
And then the Easterners said Buhari wants to bring Boko Haram prisoners to Onitsha,so that they can "escape" and attack the whole East.
Meanwhile, the man has been quietly going about his business trying to make Nigeria great again.
Buhari will succeed no matter the fake stories put out against him. Foolishness is worse than HIV. |
