Family › Re: Caught My Husband From Cheating :/ by mbulela: 2:26pm On Nov 25, 2008
sometimes i wonder how people can jump to such conclusions.the lady just gave you a side of a story, without hearing the other side of it, most people here are saying that he does not deserve her. how do you know?what do you know about the woman herself?
do you not know that there are two sides to every story?
if everyone just bags their bags and levae, how many marriages will be left?
what of women who are cheating on their husbands and the man has not found out?
if her story is all there is to the matter,i still do not think that it is enough reason to leave her marriage. the fact that her husband cheated does not suddenly make the woman a saint and her husband a worse sinner.
as bad as a cheating is bad and i do not support such irresponsible act, i think that men who abuse their wives physically are even worse.cheating is bad but their are worse things.
packing out at  the 1st suspicion of infidelity will never solve marital problems.

Gamine, you get a pic of Zo of Freshly ground.
that lady is a bundle of talent and that band is one of the best live performers on the continent.
each time i have seen them live, they blew my mind.
This MAMAs is fraudulent. i don't value it.i think Channel O makes more sense. that one is for africans and about africans.
it seems the organisers of MAMA are incapable of organising an award that is strictly about the african continent.
the award nominees are an apology.

Yes O! my broda,RSA i know how you like it.
I am with you on that.
Music/Radio › Re: South African Music, Anyone? by mbulela: 8:29pm On Nov 20, 2008
sharp! sharp! Gamine.
Ola bra RSA, howzit? is that a newscafe you are sitting in that pic in your profile?
i agree with you, South african women are amazing.
but on a second thought, it depends on what your a looking for in a woman.
generally south africans are a bit like americans in that they know very little of the world outside their country, so the choice for other women is actually limited.

God!! i did not know there was this amount of intelligence on Nairaland.
This is simply mind blowing.
the Nigerian situation is perplexing. the more you look, the more you see.
our problem is hydra headed and very complex.
Like Reuben Abati quoted a book recently that said that Nigeria is a failed state that works.
the matter serious o!
on every front, economic, educational, spiritual and moral.
anyway that moral one na universal problem.

Christianity Etc › Re: Our Orphic World by mbulela: 4:37pm On Nov 17, 2008
i really enjoy this thread (apart from the distractive off topic posts).
while i try not to bother myself with most orphic tendencies as i feel there are enough that i see and have no concrete answers to bother myself about the orphic.
however, i find the post on the photo of friends on their way out with the baby ghost theory very interesting.even before i completed the story, i was already leaning towards the explanation given by the paranormal expert.
keep posting these and i believe i will enjoy perusing them but beyond here, i do not send for these orphic tendencies.
life is spooky enough.
Christianity Etc › Re: Drop Your Quote Here And Bless Someone: by mbulela: 4:30pm On Nov 17, 2008
If you’ve sinned, confess it to God and then to a trusted friend. If you’re caught in some lies,
come clean today by telling the truth.

If you’ve started a habit that’s taking you where neither you nor God want you to go, give it up today.
If you’re in a relationship that’s crossing lines that should never be crossed, break it off now before it
destroys you and those around you.

Bros, this one is most apt but i do not support telling a trusted friend o!!
if only i can apply the words above, half of my problems will be solved.

Father, I bring Bisi before your throne of grace and in these her days of need, i plead in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that your healing grace will flow through her. From the crown of her head to the soles of her feet.Let your healing virture attend to her. Please bring her through this season unto a brighter day.May all the the prayers that have been said on this thread stand as a memorial before heaven and cause heaven to be a present help in this Bisi's time of need.
Thank you father for hearing us and for the privilege of the blood of Jesus by which we have access.
Amen!!!

Politics › Re: Speaker Bankole Is More Corrupt Than Patricia Etteh - Keyamo by mbulela: 2:08pm On Nov 03, 2008
I think the issue is being missed.
I am not a fan of Keyamo and never will be.
this is not about Keyamo. this is about the house under Bankole's watch ordering for 380 cars from PAN (the tender was not even transparent), getting cars of lower cost than they asked for and yet paying the price of the more expensive brand. secondly buying 380 cars without a discount (in an age when most dealers are doing buy 2 get 1 free) and thirdly paying for VAT twice on the same purchase.
this is simply a case of financial recklessness bothering on corruption.
the question is, if the money was their personal money will they do same?
why were PAN so evasive when Keyamo made enquiries on this purchase and know come out with half truths?
i find it laughable that the house is investigating itself!!!
make no mistakes, nothing will come out of this.Keyamo can short for all he cares. but the fact is that once more we can see how honourable the members are.
like i said earlier, the Nigerian political landscape is propped up by endemic corruption. everyone in it is involved.Does claiming that Bankole is a saint or something close to it, should please try another story.
afterall, few months back IBB and Buhari said Abacha was not corrupt.
i beg i don tire,
Politics › Re: Speaker Bankole Is More Corrupt Than Patricia Etteh - Keyamo by mbulela: 3:58pm On Oct 31, 2008
@ ilugunboy,
thank you for your sincerity.
i appreciate it.
i have given you examples, the onus lies on you to give me a free examples to prove otherwise. abi?
as usual, nothing will come out of the investigation or whatever stupid panel the house has set up, so we will never know (in that sense).

Politics › Re: Speaker Bankole Is More Corrupt Than Patricia Etteh - Keyamo by mbulela: 3:35pm On Oct 31, 2008
@ilugunboy,
mention a few names. try me you might convince me!!
the fact that i have no other choice in terms of 1. in your response is the reason why i am still on the look out for a reason to believe otherwise. all i see are reasons to be further entrenched in my belief that all is lost.
the very political system is set up to encourage corruption. tell me how then can their be no corrupt one?
i cahllenge you that those you think are spotless might be that you just have not heard their complete story.
remember, i am not bothered about their corruption, what bothers me is the insane way they amass wealth and secondly the fact that they are not doing anything for the country.absolutely nothing!!!
they have prepared another budget of trillions of naira for 2009. tell me what was done with that of 2008?
in order countries they host FIFA competitions and declare profit. here, Amos adamu and his cohorts just siphon the money and it is business as usual.
u need to know how many sport administrators almost developed high BP when yar' adua threatened to cancel 2009 u-17.
you think say na for the love of the game?
you know how many billions have been stolen in the name of fertilizer distribution, yet food production dey dwindle at an alarming rate.
bros, i tire,

ilugunboy, take am easy. we all can be dumb and you are the smart one.stop being unnecessarily optimistic.
i used to to think like you for a very short while until i reverted back to reality.
they are all thieves. tell me one person in public office who is not a thief?
i mean just one person!!
the system is structured in such a way that only thieves can survive it.
what we can start talking about is the degree of thievery (lovely word  wink)
I have since lost hope in this system, iam only disappointed in those who are just realising that now.
my biggest problem is not the stealing, it is the insane level of amassing stolen wealth.
look at all the money Alamesigha stole, those it point to a sane mind?have you been to Bayelsa state and seen the state of undevelopment?

at the end of the day, what good thing can you point to as Bankole's achievement during his tenure, both as a speaker or an ordinary house member?
what do you mean by evidence? how can you buy 380 luxury cars and have no discount? how can you pay for one thing and be supplied another? if it is your money will you do same?
these are simple straight forward issues that do not need extensive explanations.
my own is still small but do something meaningful for the masses.
if the benin - ore - onitsha - sagamu road was fixed by Annenih/Allison Maduekwe and in the process they pocketed 15 million naira, who go vex?
if Nepa was fixed and in the process Agagu stole 30 million naira, who go complain?
guy, leave am the aim of politicians in Nigeria is to steal the treasury blind. that is their only aim. they are not interested in you and me.
all this one wey Simon Kolawole , rueben abati and pat Utomi dem dey write and talk plenty, they are on their own.
have you asked yourself who dey buy up all these bank public offers wey dey sell out all the time?
bros leave am.Keyamo should enjoy himself but nothing go happen. nothing will come out of this. you can note that.
Bankole can speak all the queen's english he likes but it will not change anything.
what happened to Iyabo Obasonjo?
