The American populace haven't really experienced what a war looks like. Apart from when Great Britain dealt with them severely and swiftly in the war, the Americans started in 1812, burning the white house to the ground along with other major infrastructure and forced uncle sam to beg for a draw, Americans haven't really experienced their country being bombed to rubble since then. Most of them don't have that experience reason they feel it's okay to invade and burn others like Iraq, Syria, libya, afghan, Vietnam to the ground. One of these days, they will be given a taste of their own medicine and I pray it happens soon.
