the hard truth bro is that u ve damaged the audio transfer sensor located in the 3.5mm port which is responsible for switching audio between phone earpiece nd the earphone jack when in use. This is as a result of constant removal or usage of various earphone jack. Best option, order for 3.5mm audio port replacement for ur phone model from aliexpress.

I humbly acknowledge that the redmi 8 is a full upgrade from the redmi 7 I'm getting a MI 9t next week but if xiaomi releases MI 10t I might not upgrade even with all the features thereof. But if someone wants to upgrade then it's totally fine. In my opinion the processor is the only downside here bro.
