RomanceRe: In Love With One Pregnant For Another by McKren(m): 3:20pm On Jan 04, 2007
Titi I will rather congratulate you for making up a story that has drawn the highest controversy in Nairaland. Good job babe !!!!!!

But in case all the drama was true, I would have prefered you told the guy you love the truth and walk away from his life and if he still comes back to you. Then you know you are destined to be together.
But by the option you chose you have maltreated someone you claim to love twice, 1. sleeping with someone else and getting pregnant 2. Telling him it never happened.
You know what? Somehow it will resurface.
no sin or offence is too big to handle, you are a far more happier person when you confess your sins and live better for it. When I read the first story I thought you deserved forgiveness no matter what but celeberating your ability to hide the truth is what I cant accept.

However those are my views if the story is not a fiction.

Nigerians spoiling Nigeria with their mouth. why won't it spoil? Our leaders are not from other nations, they are from Nigeria too. We are basically all the same thing. If everybody changes in their individual tasks, you'll be suprised that things will change for good too,
I dont agree with you, though we all have a role to play but if our leaders cant take the lead then its no use having one.
PoliticsCNN Confuses Obama For Osama....Scandal or innocent error???? by McKren(op): 12:06pm On Jan 04, 2007
CNN apology over Obama name slip

Senator Barack Obama is a rising star of US politics
US broadcaster CNN has apologised after mistakenly putting the name of US Senator Barack Obama as a caption on a story about Osama Bin Laden.
An advertisement for a feature about the whereabouts of the al-Qaeda leader carried the caption "Where's Obama?" over images of Bin Laden.

CNN has apologised for "a very bad typographical error".

A spokesman for Mr Obama, a potential presidential hopeful, said he accepted that it was an innocent error.

"Though I'd note that the 's' and 'b' keys aren't all that close to each other, I assume it was just an unfortunate mistake," his spokesman Tommy Vietor said.

The error happened on Monday night during presenter Wolf Blitzer's news programme The Situation Room.

Mr Blitzer apologised on air for the slip. "I'm going to be making a call to him later this morning to offer my personal apology," he said.

Mr Obama, tipped by some to become the country's first black president, admitted in October that he was considering a White House run in 2008.

He has always been ready to deal with questions about his unusual name.

"When I first started to work in public life,  people would ask: 'Hey brother, what's with your name? You called Alabama or Yo' Mama?'"

He has also acknowledged that his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, is not ideal for someone involved in politics
I liked Barack Hussein Obama the first day I saw him and knew he was running for US president but had always known a thing like this will happen to this guy, never mind he is man of colour which will ordinarily work against him in US politics. He has a strange combination of names which reminds you of some middle east characters like "Hosnie Mu'barrack", "Saddam Hussein" and "Osama Bin Laden". Is this error by CNN intentional or innocent? What do you think?

Social critic and former Lagos State Police Commissioner, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav has described Vice President Atiku Abubakar as greedy and desperate in his quest to rule the country.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the retired police boss pointed out that the decision by the vice president to float another party after being frustrated in the PDP is as a result of his vaulting ambition to hold power at all costs.

According to him, Atiku who is running after two mice, however, failed to resign his position as VP because he is fully aware that if he does, he would lose his immunity, he will be arrested and charged for corruption.

Tsav who stated that Atiku’s supporters are exploiting him for their financial gains posited that “such people are making money on Atiku / Obasanjo feud and the longer it lasts, the better for them.”
He advised the vice president to avoid such people and strive to defend the charges leveled against him by the EFCC and Bayo Ojo’s reports rather than attempting to defend himself.

“The problem is not with Atiku but with his advisers who recently described him and President Obasanjo as illiterates,” he said, adding that his purported advisers are doing him more harm than good.

For the umpteenth time, Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos State monday admonished the electorate to defend their votes at the general elections due in April this year.

Governor Tinubu whose admonition was contained in a new year message stated that the sustenance of the nation’s democracy was dependent on the role of the electorate in the electoral process.

Bola Tinubu explained that political developments in the last few months have cast shadows on the preparedness of those at the helm of affairs at the federal level to leave office when their tenure expires.
The governor prayed that God would intervene in the crisis in the presidency which he said was threatening to undermine a successful civilian to civilian transfer of power.

“It will be my prayer that Almighty Allah intervenes in the crisis currently rocking the presidency so that the people involved will realize that it is only he (Allah) who gives power.

“This is why the tension which is threatening to undermine the transition programme will be resolved”, Tinubu stated.
That to me sounds like a summersault. There is no third term anymore? guys go and get a life.

I personally dont see myself doing it no matter the height of what she does, there are other ways to make your grieviances known if you still wanna keep the relationship and if its too bad you simply quit. I have never done and will never do it.

Vows to come back after vacation

Vice Pres. Atiku Abubakar has said that he is not afraid of going to jail. The embattled Vice President made this statement during an interview with Elendureports.com at his Washington residence. “Obasanjo went from jail to the presidency. Why should I fear going to jail,” the Vice President told us. Scoffing at the speculation that he is on exile, Atiku said, “I will come back to Nigeria after my vacation.”

Atiku Abubakar also denied running away to the United States to escape arrest following his acceptance to run for the office of president on the platform of Action Congress (AC). “Pres. Obasanjo gave approval for this trip about one and a half months before I traveled. This is what I do annually,” he said.

Atiku Abubakar, who looked very calm and relaxed during the interview, challenged Mallam El-Ruffai to tell the world what deals he did during his tenure as Chairman of Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE). “El-Ruffai is a loud mouth…he should tell the whole world what deals I did at BPE for the four years I was Chairman and he was Director-General of the organization,” Atiku told Elendureports.com.
The guy wants to blackmail the whole Nigeria to the presidency who knows who is next?

I still feel that at this point in time, IBB will be perfect.
You are at it again, people talk about change and end up suggesting those who brought about our woes should lead us again. I thought as this point we would have moved beyond talking about IBB. Little wonder I expressed my suprise at your talking about change knowing that its not serious.

Reverend:
I don't even think that America and the UK know what is happening inside Nigeria, Cant blame them for religious in-fighting!
My brother the UK does a lot in every country. If you watch the activities of the BBC and other NGO's arround the world linked to Britain you will understand what this people are up to (these are spies). They have huge interest and will continue to maneuvre, the last time Prince Charlse came to Nigeria about some months ago he went to visit the Sultan and other Emirs. These are there old allies for which they rob us of our treasury.
Why did he not visit the king of Egbaland or the head of Anglican Church in Nigeria?
Take Iran for instance very soon NGO's ill start going to Iran claiming to help the poor and painting the government of Amadenajad in bad light as a leader who is irresponsible to his own people. The next time they start conducting fictitous polls showing his unpopularity and how there is need for regime change. All rubbish they are pursuing the British foreign policy which maybe the governement of that country disagrees with.

Reverend I think u need to understand Britain more, their foreign policy has nothing to do with support for christains or muslims worldwide but support for anything that will profit their country. The coup by Kaduna Nzeogwu was pronounced by the BBC as an Igbo power play and that has torn Nigeria apart to date, do you know how that benefits UK? a devided and unprosperous Nigeria will leave us perpetually dependent on them and thus will always abide by their terms in foreign relation while they milk us dry. After the assasination of President Juvenal Habiarimana of Rwanda the report by the BBC did not help matters either. Today the world is talking about Saddam Hussein John Prescot the deputy leader through the BBC is fueling a sectarian devide they caused themselves. Is it not about time the BBC learn to put the national security of some of these volatile countries over what they will describe as credible journalism.

I have said it if Iraq know what they want they should forget what they see in the Media. Saddam is gone for good and no amount of Murder of shiites or Sunis will bring him back. They have to reconcile and build a united front so that the further stay of coalition forces in Iraq will be illegal. Otherwise US and UK will prefer an unstable Iraq while they milk them dry.
RomanceRe: Are Girls Really Gullible Or Just Enjoy Lies? by McKren(m): 2:45pm On Jan 03, 2007
My advise 4 those of u that think it is safe to play along is to be very alert, the guy might be aware of your game and work towards beating u to it. take a stand and let the guy know u are not the dummy that he takes u for
But why should a boy and girl in a relationship be trying to outsmart the other. Those who want to be strategic should join the army or politics.
Not playing games with people you should love. If I can not be very vulnerable and defenseless to my girl friend and yet safe then for me the relationship is not worth it.
