I got a refusal letter last week and have been waiting for passport pickup email from TLS ever since. Is it advisable for me to go their office without receiving this email?

I know they sometimes fail to send the email even when the passport is ready for collection.

I am a graduate and currently working as a real estate broker in Abuja.

Recently a friend of mine who happened to be my brother in-law told me of a job offer in portharcourt at a company( an international company persay) who were ready to pay him in dollars every week.

The problem was that he has to pay N650k for international working documents, dollar account and other stuffs to commence training.

I don't know what happened next, I later heard he's there already and he wants to create opportunity for me too.

So he requested for my details which I sent to him. Lately yesterday he called telling me I was confirmed for the job replacement and I also have to pay N650k to get the job.

I didn't say anything to him yet aside telling him I'll get back to him.

I'm having a double feeling about this seeing the fact that this is someone I know in person, that's why I brought it here.

My dad has just received an sms from 34461 asking him to confirm his address in order to benefit from the Lagos State Emergency Food Response Package. The text stated both his name and home address. Has anybody received same or can anyone confirm that this is for real? I'm scared scammers might be up to something. Thanks.

I've been having data consumption issues on Windows 10 home edition. I use a Lenovo ideapad 110. My WiFi connection is metered and I have also disabled windows update under both services and group policy. I also turned off background apps data.

The problem is that I rarely get any warning when I'm drawing close to the metered limit. And when I finally get the notification that I have reached the limit, my data would have been consumed far far beyond the limit. This happens even when I've barely loaded a page on my browser. I have no idea what is responsible for the data consumption. I have checked both data usage overview and app history under task manager, but they show very little data consumption, mostly zero or less than 2 MB. I suspect windows updates are somehow still running irrespective of all the restrictions I've put in place.

Please help me out if you can. I've run out of ideas. Thanks in advance.

Check your transfer protocol. My cousin's own now has an option to accept the supplementary course.

So even when it says "successful", one still can't be guaranteed the application went through? I did it twice and it was successful on both occasions but I'm having serious doubts now.

I just checked my caps now. My institution is already showing University of Porthacourt and my preferred course is there also but my admission status is showing Not admitted. What's going on?

No. That's if you've not been giving admission.
Once you're given admission your course and institution will show.

I just noticed the course and institution is showing now. But it's the initial course that's showing, not the supplementary one. Admission status is still negative. You?
