Dr. Michael Chukwukadibia Anumaka, who presently sits as the Acting HoD Electrical Engineering department was on Wednesday the 26th of May, 2021 indicted by the Imo State University senate board on a number of offences.

1.) Falsification of students results
2.) Victimization of both students and members of staff.

However, he is yet to be held accountable on a number of criminal activities past and present:

** The use of questionable/fake qualifications to gain his present position in the school

** The extortion of upwards of #30,000 as project supervision levy on final year students.

** Falsification of students results, financial extortion, victimization and harassment of students under his supervision.

His general misconduct and impunity is well documented in the minutes of the school's senate meeting held on the 26th of May 2021, and though a disciplinary committee is yet to allocate punishment for his many crimes, this serves as a commendable effort by the university's governing body - aimed at sanitizing our educational system and safeguarding our youths.

I would further urge that he immediately steps down from the position of Acting HoD (Electrical Engineering) and answer to the charges levied against him.

To anyone facing victimization of any form within the Nigerian educational system, NOW - is the time to SPEAK UP!

If you graduate from IMSU with your morals and values intact, you are simply a superhuman. The security operatives have successfully captured some suspected members of the deadly gunmen who stormed Owerri yesterday.

According to the video circulating online, heavily armed men stormed the Orji Divisional Police Headquarters in Owerri town. The men who operated for close to an hour engaging Special Police Force in the noon were seen parading the streets before police engagement.

This attack came few days after Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of the State affirmed his commitment to crush the enemies of the state and whoever is behind the attacks in the state.

After the attack of the Orji Divisional Police Headquarters, police operatives trailed the group capturing five suspected members of the gang.

As obtained by Channels TV, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Imo State, Mr. Bala Elkana, in his statement confirmed the attack and subsequent arrest of five suspected members of the gang.

The five suspects arrested are Chigaemezu Sabastine, John Chinonso, Casimir Ibe, Chukwudi Okoro, and Alozie Daberechi.

In a statement, Governor Hope revealed that all the suspects arrested so far will be charged to court soon.

This is a life lesson I learnt very early in life. Never ever see anyone as infallible. Be careful of how you deify or follow everyone's advice. Don't expect too much from human beings to avoid disappointments. Lower your expectations of humans, they can be very unstable. This has helped me a lot.

No wonder our Lord Jesus Christ advised us to beware of men. A certain relation of mine whom I held in high esteem disappointed me sometime in the past, and I became wiser since then. Humans are damn capricious!!

Yet, seems this episode is the summary of Nigerian politicians. Meetooism is their undoing!

Fulanis are one hell of nearly men, almost getting there but never actually doing so.
