I am currently an Advanced Practioner Ultrasonographer in the UK, Which is a specialty under Radiography, i used to be a Radiographer before specialising in Ultrasound, where i was sponsored by my current hospital for post graduate course in Ultrasound, which has elevated me to 2 steps higher banding(from band 5 to 7).
From my experience here the work load for nurses is very demanding, with limited opportunities to progress to band 6 and 7. A Radiographer work load is not as demanding and you can upgrade to a CT,MRI, PET scan Radiographer and Sonographer.

Did you specialize before leaving Nigeria or after leaving Nigeria?

That's a good advantage for you, decide to learn digital skills at home alongside your teaching job. Eventually you will be opened to better opportunities making you more than 10k per month. If you're interested in learning digital marketing, let me know. I'm a digital marketing expert running my own company. But learning is not free.

Plus is it okay to leave after your Nysc? even after working as an intern and a corper in a busy center.(is two years ok to have such experience?)

Hi, I think you should concentrate on graduating from school. Once you have your certificate, served and gained some experience, getting a job as a Radiographer in the UK won't be much of an issue. Cheers

Goodevening all, I'm currently studying radiography in unizik, and also in year one but will be in year 3 by January next year due to the nature of our academic calendar. I want to know if there's anything I need to know while in school now so I can work on them to bolster my chances of leaving for the UK when I'm done with school. Anyone can help me with that. So I went to get stuffs this morning but I wasn't with cash. I was confident cause I was a regular customer to her but she refused selling to me on credit. Luckily someone came bought some wares, then she sold to me on credit.
So I'm asking does buying selling on credit mean anything bad or it's just some unnecessary fear of having a bad sale all day?
