BALLOSKI: For someone who professes his love for Putin on every post, you know absolutely nothing about Russia. Why don't you concern yourself with something you know? 15% of Russians claim Islam as their religion. Of those, only 5% actually practice. Get your facts straight first then you can bend it whichever way you like. 2 Likes |

Appleyard: Let's start with one caveat: everything the Russian fire fails 20% of the time so,with that in mind, you don't need the Americans or Germans to confirm it failed. You can take it to the bank that it failed. For the uninitiated, I leave you with a video of one of such fails (the S-300 missile). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoM5a6v6410 2 Likes |

olalat: I think between the two of us I'm the only one that speaks Russian so I don't need 3rd party interpretation to understand the noise/propaganda you're gulping on. I also think between the two of us I'm the only one who've seen the handiwork of the so called Russian super soldiers you're glorifying(gross incompetence is what comes to mind). So, the misinformed fellow is you, my friend. |

NairaMinted: the US use DSP which is part of their "Early Warning System". These are groups of satellites which sole purpose is to monitor missile launches. Just like your google map, but in high resolution and real time The DSP system is old (I believe around 40 years) and they've created like 4 generations after that. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the latest one they're using but it allows them to monitor battlefield missile launches in real time (with or without ground radar) with accuracy down to mm. 1 Like |

NairaMinted: Spuniknews is a Russian troll site ... you could also quote RT. The story is BS anyways. The reason for this bravado from Putin is to prevent alternative Gas and oil supply route to Europe. |

fineguy11: CNN and BBC reported that hospital bombing http://edition.cnn.com/2015/10/03/asia/afghanistan-doctors-without-borders-hospital/ If you understand how missiles are monitored you'll know you don't have to be near it to know where it ended. |

OP, not sure what Wertheim and the other foreign analysts the article refereed to have up their backside. Algeria tested this same missile 3 or 4 years ago. for them to claim "we all thought it could only fly 150 miles" brings into question their qualification. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Russia’s New Mega-missile Stuns The Globe by MeandSum: 7:25pm On Oct 10, 2015 |
seagulsntrawler: Who told you that? do you have any idea how many minutes it takes a missile to fly 1500 KM? how would the Americans inform ISIS and why? |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Russia’s New Mega-missile Stuns The Globe by MeandSum: 7:23pm On Oct 10, 2015 |
tundebaba234: You guys keep talking about Russia destroying something. Their record on destroying a moving target is next to nothing. all the missiles the OP was talking about were directed at static location and targets. 15% (up to 20% in some reports) failed to reach their destination even those that got "there" could be miles off. The difference between Russian and USA is that Americans acknowledge their mistakes while the Russian would keep a long tin poker face. |

ogaprime: So, your justification for believing in God is your fear of eternal damnation (basically, a Pascal's Wager)? someone already pointed this out a few post above and we've talked about this for years on this board that Pascal's Wager doesn't add up. |

JaySalvador27: With all due respect, Noah's story is one of those you shouldn't point out when talking about the might of your God. An omniscient God (like all organized religions claim) would have fixed his mistakes during creation without resolving to mass murder to fix his own mistake. What kind of monster is that? Estimates of world population back then when the flood was supposed to have happened range from a minimum of 5 million to a max of around 50 million on all the continents. 1 Like |

ogaprime: This is pretty damning! Your God, who created everything according to you knew what he created wouldn't believe in him... one must be incompetent to a fault to "know" before hand and not fix it with a simple command or very very sadistic to go ahead with such. Either way, the idea of such a person is not worthy of anyone's attention or respect. |

spirit88: I know it took you quite sometime to come up with those 4, sad to say, but none of them is exclusive. 1) eternal life - first and second law of thermodynamics guarantees that 2) absolutely not exclusive to religion. In fact, because I know I can't blame the devil for whatever wrong I do I tend to avoid doing it in the first place. So, I am righteous based on my deed and not on the assumption of eternal righteousness based on illusion of the same. 3) what's the gift? speaking in tongue or what? I'll like to know. 4) not a point as I can see. |

aolumaxi: Peace (or peace of mind) I have. So, it is not exclusive to those who believe in God. some of the most restive places in the world are also the most religious ones. 750 people died a few weeks ago trying to stone the "devil". Think about the irony. next example please. |

rabzy01: No, you are the one with zero for brain. Islam came out of Christianity, while Christianity came out of Judaism. All three are based on lies... waste of time. and where did you get "amen, amen, I say on to you" from? you didn't answer that. |
Religion / Re: The Mark Of The Beast(666) Happening Now!!!!!! by MeandSum: 6:31am On Oct 04, 2015 |
Tobiee: John of Patmos, the mad man who wrote revelation was actually talking about the emperor at the time of his writing (john was banished to an island and I think he didn't take it lightly). John wrote in Greek and he used isopsephy. 666 directly translates to --- you wait for it ... Nero! While Nero may not be the emperor when he wrote the book (jury are still out on that), most people back then believed Nero was still alive and he'll come back to rule. All the same, the emperor had clearly showed he was not buying into the the messages that those charlatans called christian were selling. 1 Like |

rabzy01: I'm an atheist but all your bible quotes are twisted. Where did you get amen, amen I say to you? Who would have thought! Here we have a Muslim (I assume you are a Muslim because others say you are) - we have a Muslim, who's religion is based on Christianity now claiming the base is a lie. Try multiplying zero with zero and you'll see where your barbaric religion stand. 1 Like |
