GEJ's problems are self-inflicted. He sorrounds himself with rif-rafs who keep telling him 'Notin Dey Happen'. I still cant figure out how he's going to get re-elected with this mentality of GEJ vs North, GEJ vs West, GEJ vs Obj, GEJ vs the Media, GEJ vs APC, and now GEJ vs ASUU. Even when u bank on rigging u must have sufficient support/base.

U dont play politics with FG. The govt has what it takes to even divide ASUU. They lost it the moment they brought back those second conditions. This is Naija where everything is Stomach first. Stomach politics. Stomach unionism.

It may surprise many pro ASUU commenters here that this protracted strike has divided the stance of the lecturers. Many believe Dr Faggae is leading them astray. With the sack option brandished by govt, some are jittery already. As to where schools will get the new lecturers, u will be shocked to see number of qualified candidates from Polys and Colleges of education. This is naija. When push comes to shove, even the sacked one will reapply. ASUU has long lost public sympathy. We are with GEJ on this one

The laour laws in Nigeria need to e reviewed ASAP. I dont see why ASUU should be receiving salaries when they have refused to apply common sense and call off this strike. If the govt has made some concession, it is only natural that ASUU reciprocate. In as much as I disagree that ASUU is being influenced by the opposition, I think they have lost support in the court of pulic opinion.

Anyone who still thinks that 2015 election will be an easy ride for GEJ is wrong. It's normal for his supporters to beat their chest and talk of political structures. What structures? When u have all 23 LG chairmen, 27 HOA memers, 2 senators and many HOR. Can PDP win a national election without rigging. Will u be able to rig Lagos, Rivers and Kano without the support of the govs and their chairmen. I tell u GEJ and his fans must be peeing in their pants right now especially when PDP is in chaos.

I do understand you but the times are changing. The president is using all tools at his disposal to ensure that the governors bow to him. Amaechi should not fall for it because when the chips are down, some of the governors you mentioned do not have a gut.

calling a meeting at this time is a wrong calculation and unnecessary. He's been smarter all this while by being calm and not trying claim legitimacy like Jang. Now attention will be turned on how many govs will be bold enough to attend. Even PDP govs who voted for him will be scared to show up. That's where the problem lies! Attendance will be extremely poor and the illegitimate group are goin to point to it. Wrong move Amaechi!

I beg to disagree with some comments here. They are potential Spanish champions . Barcelonia cannot go a season without winning a silverware. I see jealousy and a feeling of insecurity about Barca in most comments. A successful man/institution has many enemies.
