misszainab: I love my boyfriend, God knows I do. He's my first love and after him, I have not dated any other man. It's been 3years since we started dating. He tries hard to be faithful and I'm faithful to him too. But I'm so pessimistic about the future with him. We're about graduating from school, and after graduation our relationship will become a distant one, and I'm scared of keeping a distant relationship. But I don't want to give up, one main thing I'm concerned about is that he's not financially ohkay for now. I don't know if I should keep on with that. I know God has a plan for us, he always assures me that with time things will get better, and that is what keeps us going. I Love him because he's very optimistic about the future and that gives me faith. But what if things don't turn out good?

Look like you have already made up your mind on what to do. If you make mistakes, don't come back here to complain. Romance › Re: She's Jealous Of My Success! How Do I Talk To Her by mecussey(m): 11:40am On Oct 27, 2014 |
deeoneX: We were frnds for over a year before we started dating. Its been 2years now in our relationship. Rarely does she open up her mind to tell me her depressing emotional issues when she has a troubled one except I compel her into talking. Recently, I did my engineering induction and would be going for my NYSC this November. Just Came home to grab the few things I'll need for camp and particularly, to spend time with her before I leave this week. All through the last week that I've been home, she had been noticeably dodging our dates for both of us to hang out while giving feeble, triffling and diaphanous excuses. On this particular evening, contrary to her manner of holding back her depressing emotions even though I'd noticed that, She eventually told me what even seemed awkward to her cast of mind..."She's Jealous". While apologizing for how she's been eschewing our planned dates, she said it after I asked what she's been jealous about. "She's Jealous of my success". My fingers were seized on my phone's keyboard for tens of seconds as I didn't know how best to reply or comfort her since I was struck with wonder . I've planned meeting her someplace without prior notice to talk to her.
Nairalanders, is it normal or rather okay if she feels that way. Besides, how good enough do you suggest I chat her to calm and possibly inspire her mind without hurting her delicate heart? I strongly do aspire a future with her. Girls do that, it's just some part of insecurity that you may go AWOL after going ahead of them. |

praise4055: I don't know how to say this, but i think this is the right platform where i can air my view and atleast get reasonable advice.
I am not a tall girl, i am just 5ft4 so i really need to be with a tall dude not a shortie or average height guy for the sake of my children which is very important. But i kept on geting advance from short guys and i don't know why.
pls how can i keep the shorties out of my lane? It really fustrating you know!. And how can i attract those tall, huge dark guys(6ft and above) just for the sake of my kids yet to come.
pls no insult. Your advice would be appreciated. Sorry, but you have to show the tall guys the greenest light. Tall guys like short girls in return, you girls are easy to carry up and down. |

You knw hw crazy siblings behave. Which is so awkward for me. I tell you, you cannot tell what a woman can do. That would be crazy men...the man will even stop his wife from following you to work. I tell you, love and infatuation are almost the same. I suggest you indirectly let her know you are eyeing her, then watch her reactions. You guys can start with secret games then when you are sure you like her more than sex, then go meet the man of the house direct. Take my words seriously, you will still have your respect. |

jauntty: Ocular pressure is one major risk factor for glaucoma but it doesn't mean every high ocular pressure is glaucoma. Some pressure can be low and the eye can still dev glaucoma. Secondly alcohol doesn't cause floaters. Floaters indicates that something is not so right inside the eye. It might not be serious tho. So answer this 3 Questions. 1. Do u see sudden flashes of light. 2. Are the floaters increasing at a fast rate. 3. Do u have pain? Yea...when I move my eye ball up or down, left or right, I see a flashs sometimes like a circle. I never noticed it until I was diagnosed with those eye drops. I told the doc..he said it has sth to do with the retina but its is not serious yet. I don't have pains, but the floaters increased then but no longer increasing that much. I also see rainbow around bright lights at night. The doc said its due to the pressure and glaucoma. My question again is ...is the rainbow thing sign that I have not treated the glaucoma well? All these symptoms are worse when I drink which I have reduced by all means. I read somewhere that weed (marijuana) helps those with glaucoma, pls have you confirmed that in Nigeria? |

Johans: Dear drsteroid and jauntty
I'm a 19 year old dude, early dis year, i started having eye floaters, it started from a single black/dark floater on my right eye, now i have few floaters on both eyes. This is both alarming and depressing considering my age (teenager.) Please what can be done about this? Thanks a lot. mine started at 24...someone told me it's due to alcohol intake, do you also drink? |

drsteroid: increase in intraocular pressure is different 4rm galucoma, although increase IOP is a risk factor for glaucoma..glaucoma is said to be present if there is cupping of the optic disc, and if the patient has restricted visual field..so you don't av glaucoma if only the presure was confirmed 2 be high..wot u ve wil be ocular hypertension wil can lead 2 glaucoma if not immediately treated..so u nid 2 goin 4 routine eye examination 2 know if the presure is within the normal range...tanx This was exactly what the second doctor said. The first doctor and his crew were just getting me scared as if I will be blind the next day. They even gave me a bill of 10k immidiately and told me to come back next month. I started feeling they want to open office for my head after paying series of 7k and 8k every month. The pressure never went up again since then and I have stopped using the drugs. Is it likely to go up again with time, and how often should I go for these examinations. |
Health › Re: Ask The Eye Doctor Any Problem Concerning The Eyes by mecussey(m): 11:37am On Oct 26, 2014 |
jauntty: The two doctors said basically the same thing. Since the pressure is down now, do u still have the floaters When last did you check the pressure? The last time I checked was about 5 months ago. The floaters are still their but the docs said it does not mean anything that they will clear with with time. Personally, I think the floaters are due to consumption of alcohol. I am not very worried about the floaters because, I still see very clearly without glasses and I didnt loose any peripheral vision. Please, is every ocular pressure related to glacuma? That name scares the hell out of me. |
Health › Re: Ask The Eye Doctor Any Problem Concerning The Eyes by mecussey(m): 11:22am On Oct 26, 2014 |
Op...I started seeing floaters in my eyes then I went for examination. The 1st doc said I have glacouma, the second one said it's ocular pressure which may lead to glaucoma if left untreated. So i took treatments which reduced the pressure from 29 to 16 and the pressure never went up again even after stopping the drugs for 6 months. Am I still at risk? ..and which of the doctors were correct. I understand that i have to be going for regular eye examination but how often? Thank you for this thread. |
