icze: hello everybody I feel I shouldn't be asking this..but I just wanna hear opinions of others..here goes..I have this girlfriend I have been dating for 2 n a half years...1st time I caught her texting her long time ex dat she was gonna kiss him..making plans to see him...I got angry...she begged and cried a lot..I forgave...6 months later I find out shez had a fling with some boy in her school..she cries nd says she kissed him nd he sucked her b##bs only den she ran..so typical me cuz of love I forgive....I school in ghana and she schools in logos but I come back a lot cause of her..all needs met..fast forward 6months I find out again she kissed her freind's cousin after being dere for just 2 weeks,den she has sex wyt anoda ex....heavy yea...I know... same old she cries and begs and promises...I forgive again...2 months now nd I am in ghana...I just feel I have been foolish and worse things will happen...what advices would you give me now...anticipating ur replies..feel free 2 insult me tho..cheers

Cheating is in a every woman's nature. Don't put your mind so much into them. It's unfurtunate some of them will force you to love them when they need you most and disappear when they think they are done. Save money and marry, thats more simple to life.

The hungry hyena i meant was the mother because, the girl looks like she does not know exactly what she wants. The mum never supported the marriage from day 1 and it's all her game plan to stop the marriage. I am just sorry for brother that's why because, he is not having. Let me gist you small, in Igbo land there is what we call LIST....it's a list of items you have to fufil before paying the bride price. My brother collected the list and went back to fufil it. Usually, the two families and the kingsmen negotiate and argue on the list. So, in the cause of the arguments, the process was halted. I am not sure if he finally fufilled the listed items. Asuming he did and didn't pay the bride price, how will the court look at it. Or, is it only the bride price the court recorganises.

Our first son got engaged with a girl whom he could not finish the marriage rights with the inlaws due to misunderstandings with the mother of the girl. Now, the girl had a baby boy for my brother and decided to follow her mum's advice and left the marriage with the new baby. My question now is

1) Is the new baby the first son of our family?

2) is the girl the first wife in the family?

3) If the girl decides to come back after 10yrs, does she have any right in our family?

4) Should my brother still file for divorce since the marriage rights were not completed in the first place.

I ask because, this I think is a big case in the future. If the new boy is the first son of the family, automacally he is entitled to all his and my fathers assets and it's automatically going to her mother since they are the ones training him at the moment. What can we do minimise this trouble ahead for the next generation (my children and my siblings children). I can actually work harder for my children but imagine losing out my fathers properties to hungry hyeners. Pls any matured person should please say something.

I don't see any definition of depression that is related to a black man. I only see depression on people who are poor in Africa.

cyril10: I was on leave in mid August 2014 when I decided to travel to Lagos with my family. Before the leave started, I gave my car to my mechanic to service and to make sure everything is in order before we embark on the journey since I wouldn't want to put my little kids in jeopardy .

On the D-day, we left home early to atleast get to Lagos by 4-5 pm but it was not to be as I eventually fell into the hands of scamming mechanics along Benin-ore road which I later regretted for some time. The journey was very smooth from P/H to the point between Benin and Ore when I unluckily met with evil mechanics and their accomplices, as I was driving, a man on okada (bike) started pointing on my tyre that it is wobbling, I had to quickly stop did I quick turn around to a waiting mechanic that directed me to his shop, when I stopped, I discovered that oil was dripping from my tyre rim, it was later I discovered that they actually splashed oil on the rim but was too late, they have removed my 2 front tyres, removed my hubs to show that they were broken, they called motor parts seller one of the accomplice. The hub that should ordinarily cost 8-10 thousand cost me 40,000 naira each, at the end of it all I ended up wasting 113,000 naira. I have to share my experience here so as to warn people that travel on that route that they should ignore people like that mostly along Agbor- benin and Benin- ore roads.

You even get luck say no be robbers or kidnappers. How can you just stop on a highway because someone said you should stop.
